This location is typically my last resort for threading. The amount of pressure that is applied sometimes leaves me with little cuts or skin missing on my lower brow. This has happened all three times, with the last time leaving visible scabs the next day. If I can't make it to Arlington, I prefer to get a wax somewhere else. read more

Always great service when I come to SOI Midlothian. Clean work area. Never too lengthy of a wait. Wonderful customer service. As far as my eyebrows, I am always so pleased with how Rida shapes my brows. If you still get your eyebrows waxed, I would definitely recommend trying out threading. I have really thick, course, fast-growing hair and getting my eyebrows threaded always lasts way longer than when I get them waxed. I will never go back to waxing my brows. The customer service lacks tremendously! I made an appt and called right back to change it since you can't change in website. Apparently, the young lady I spoke to didn't make change, and now I'm being told they don't take walk ins. The website indicates hours that the location is not operating by. Sadly I paid for a membership, which I'm hoping to be able to cancel and refund. read more

I'm so bummed.. really liked this place for the past 3 months. Went into today and left with the thinnest eye brows. Same girl that has always done them. I explained to her they were very thin , the thinnest I've ever had them and the shape was changed. She said she didn't do it, that I've always had this shape. If she would've just owned the mistake i would've said , no worries.. and come back. But her refusal to take ownership and tell me i was wrong , made this my last time at this place. I have only been to this place twice to get my eyebrows threaded and to get my face waxed. This last time that I went before my graduation, my eyebrows turned out really good but the face wax well I can definitely say otherwise. I've always been with Barnita when doing my eyebrows and waxing but this last time I had gotten someone else and she had our wax on my upper lip and used a paper about three times to take it off. At first, I could tell that something was wrong since it started burning and it was really red and then after my graduation I could immediately tell that she had waxed some of my skin off. Never want to get that same lady again. read more

Today, I went to go get my eyebrows threaded and the lady there does a great job except for the fact that she reuses the same disposable mascara brush to comb out every customers eyebrows. This is disappointing for a Business who does amazing work but can not keep up with sanitation. read more

Let me preface and mention that I'm African American AND from Chicago, so my standards for eyebrow threading are very high. I went in today to receive the full face service (threaded). Barnita was friendly & did a great job on everything EXCEPT my EYEBROWS...which matter the most to me. I requested that Barnita leave my eyebrows as thick as possible TWICE. She confirmed and said that wouldn't be a problem. Maybe she didn't know what thick meant? I was highly disappointed with the result. There was really no arch in both brows and my left eyebrow was thinner than my right. I was not rude and still tipped. The full face threading was amazing (face is butter smooth), however, I will not be returning to this location due to my eyebrows. read more

I have getting my eyebrows threaded for years. Never once had a problem until I visited this store. I was given the mirror to look at the finished product and one eyebrow was significantly threaded from the other and piece of eyebrow was missing on my right eyebrow. When asked I was told by the only person working there was that my eyebrows were uneven to begin with. In over 15 years of threading I have NEVER had a mess up like this. Hence the woman insisted I Did not understand the art of threading, when I have been getting them done longer than the 8 years she stated she was in the business. Typically, from my experience, if there are any areas of concern, you are told from the jump. She never even mentioned they were uneven and when I looked at the mirror, she still didn't point out her error hoping I would not acknowledge her tremendous screw up. As if her threading abilities were not up to par, she insisted I was wrong. She never owned up to her mistake and blamed my previous tech all the while insulting my intelligence. I have thick eyebrows so it's kinda hard to mess them up but she was the first to ever do so. I would never recommend this place. Hopefully others have better luck than me. Will never revisit this place again. read more
