Downtown fullerton, street parking. Quite a lot of seating inside the cafe seems relatively new. They have a kiosk to order and a staff nearby to answer questions. But omg! Their service is so nice, kind of to par of orobae? But not as intense. Because my croffle took long they gave me a few mochi donuts. You go and pickup your order at the counter. The croffles aren't on the menu BTW, but they are on the kiosk. Also their ice cream spoons are soo cute!!! They also have yogurt drinks ( said they changed d/t yakult not being organic), and they're really nice about you modifying your drink without feeling like judgement/they are forced to smile. Condensed milk croffle- not too sweet. Nice crisp. If you've never had a croffle it was pretty good. Not too oily and was freshly warm Mochi donut holes- kind of taste like chewy churros Matcha strawberry- okay when they say their drinks are not sweet. The fruit jam ones are definitely sweet. For sure go to 50%-25%. FREE ALTERNATIVE MILK. Also toppings (boba/jelly) are more expensive, fyi. It didn't hit me as woah matcha, but a decent sippy matcha. Ice cream- sweet corn was sooo good. Its so hard to find sweet corn drinks, I hope they make some sort of latte/matcha drink with it ( does that sound crazy??) But please the only other one I know is like $10. The prices are pretty average for cafe. I'd recommend coming here if you want to chill with your friends~ very relaxed/college student ambiance. I can lowkey see this place getting popular and full though. Also I blacked out and spent $30 haha. So I would recommend the ice cream the most!

Great study and work place with outlets! Note the 2hr parking limit at this cafe. You order at the kiosk and they simply call you when your order is ready. The blueberry matcha latte with almond milk was not watery which can sometimes be a problem with almond milk. Good grade matcha and the blueberry was sweet and tart but too excessively sweet. I got my drink actually 25% sweetness which was good for me because I enjoy some sweetness form the blueberry but prefer a good strong matcha. I like how water cups are provided on the side with compostable straws. Currently they have mini AC units along the tables against the wall which is nice with an adaptor for multiple charging options so highly recommend for studying/working! Light faint jazz music in the background but not too loud since many also come to hang out and chat.

Friend drove us to this place for boba after lunch. There is a huge parking lot is free until the evening to charge what we assume to be club goers. The most popular drink on Yelp seemed to be their Strawberry Matcha Latte. I got it at 100% sweet. The drink came out fairly quick. First impressions of the drink - not that sweet even at 100% sweetness but it has a really strong matcha taste. Further drinking, you'll notice that there is some strain of strawberry purée of some sort that packs the majority of the sweetness which is very creative unique, except I think I needed them to fill up 1/3 of the drink with that to compensate for the lack of sweetness. Their 100% sweet seems to be akin to other place's 25%-50%. My friends got their boba milk tea and it also ran into sweetness issue where they asked them to fix it and they gave them a saucer of syrup which actually did the trick.

Order Rec- Hojicha latte w/ Ube cloud, normal sweetness and ice I really like the vibes of this cafe! Sojeata one of the few cafes in OC that open late. They have a decent amount of tables, outlets, and just the right amount of background music that keeps you stimulated but not distracted. This would be a great place to study or do work or do a quick catch up with a small group. Their menu is expansive with milk teas, fresh teas, fruit drinks, and matcha (although I would pass on the matcha latte/drinks here as it wasn't as strong and matcha-y to my liking). They have fun and unique toppings like the ube cloud foam and the sakura popping jelly. I would love to come back and try their food and snacks as well. other notes- easy and free street parking

Sojeata is so hip! I really do enjoy the ambiance is the shop and its display of Cambodian culture. The shop was packed on a Saturday afternoon, and I had high hopes for this spot, seeing this frequently on socials. There were a few people with laptops trying to do work/study, but I would say this spot is more ideal for socializing (it was pretty loud when I went). There is no active cashier but only a tablet self ordering station, but staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions in the process. I ordered a matcha latte with oat, and my sister ordered a custom decaf vanilla latte drink which was actually off menu but kindly offered to us by who I assume is the manager or owner. I personally wasn't a fan of my matcha latte though as it really packed on the matcha flavor. However, the manager/owner was willing to modify my drink, and I really appreciated that. Parking in the lot next to the building is free (even though I went through the hassle of downloading the parking app). I was charge $0! So that's a plus. There's also limited street parking available in front of the shop. Overall, I think this is a quaint tea shop, and the service definitely makes me want to come back and give them another try!

Came here again to give it another chance & they added lots of new drinks on the menu :-) They also changed their cups & I lovv the new presentation of the cups. I liked the drink we got this time (matcha einspänner) but I do feel like they can use better quality matcha like the ktown matcha shops -- this would make the $8 price point of the drink worth it ! I'm a matcha connoisseur so I might be a teensy bit biased but I love my quality matcha ! still super yummy & the workers are so attentive. drinks came out pretty fast as well :-) my fav thing about this shop is the minimalistic aesthetic. this also seems like a nice spot to study -- it is pretty quiet inside and most ppl are on their laptops/ studying/ working.

I can't get over how good this matcha was. I'm pretty basic so I don't like sprucing up my matcha lattes with flavor. I ordered the classic matcha latte and it was rich and vibrant in color. Every sip was creamy and decadent with a good hint of sweetness. I also tried my mom's blueberry matcha latte which I surprisingly did not dislike. It's not my type of drink but if it is yours, I would definitely recommend ordering it because it balanced the two flavors pretty well. I got to talk to the owner and he was so kind and told me about how much thought and effort goes into making each drinks, which I was able to see myself after trying it. I went on a Saturday and it was packed. There was no seating so I'd recommend going at an off-time or during the week. There's street parking and also public parking lots nearby since it's in downtown Fullerton.

I was disappointed because I saw people posting about a a variety of flights and I really came to get the matcha flight that people were posting but it wasn't available when came, which was disappointing and we probably wouldn't have made the drive. I really have been liking einspanners as they're becoming more popular and I've been able to try more and more from different locations! I thought the einspanner here was good, not the worst and not the best! I thought it was cool and unique how you could add the ube cloud. The inside was ok. I think maybe previously there was a clean white aesthetic but it may have been lost over time. I can't really speak on the service was you just order through their kiosk. It's also street parking in DTF

I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and this one was very different than any other l've tried. The strawberry puree had a slight tanginess to it (in a good way), it was still balanced with the sweetness and tasted great overall. They claim that they use organic and natural ingredients and I could really taste the freshness in the drink. They also have a few other flavors of matcha lattes like blueberry and mango! SERVICE: I came here on a Saturday morning 15 minutes after they opened and there was no one working at the counter. They have a self ordering tablet, so I ordered but I was a bit confused on if there was anyone in the store or if it was actually open yet. I stood there for about 5 minutes until someone came out to give the drink to the person who ordered right before me. Just thought that was interesting to note haha AMBIANCE: There are lots of tables and chairs inside. Great place to do work or chat with friends! Parking was street parking or there's a nearby parking structure.

Omg I may be obsessed with this place I've gotten 3 drinks in the last week! These matcha lattes are just irresistible! I'm lactose intolerant and I love that this place doesn't charge an extra $1 for milk alternatives. They don't have a physical menu anymore (it looks like they did for the soft opening though), so it's helpful to check yelp for pics and recommendations. All the baristas were super friendly though! The vibe here is also fun and modern. All the smaller tables have small air purifiers which I appreciate! This place has officially made it into my top 3 fav tea shops!

Got the popular matcha einspanner w boba. It was almost $9 which is the most expensive drink I've ever payed for. I wished I got the regular matcha latte because the foam made the whole drink way too thick and creamy for me. The guy making the drinks was really nice! He asked if we had any questions while we were in line.

Husband picked up blueberry matcha with cloud foam...but there is no matcha, just blueberry. Usually, it's made right but this time it wasn't. I wish I could drink it, but it's too sweet now :( There was no point in driving back and using mileage to get a new drink and phone call goes to voicemail. Whoever made the drink this time, please don't forget the matcha. A little sad, but hopefully next time matcha will be included.

Went to Sojeata today and it was packed . Lots of kids studying . People hanging out . Lots of seating. You order via iPad yourself. Luckily Lam had a few seconds and was able to give me recommendations while making drinks . Ended up with the espannier matcha. The drink was excellent. Foam was very good. Balanced and very cold . Matcha I could tell was high quality. The drink did take a bit longer than usual to get but worth the wait . Especially how crowded it was . I'll definitely find my way back and support Sojeata

I was looking for a good dessert/tea place close to me. I ended up at Sojeata! I was impressed because the place was busy with customers and nicely decorated. I am not sure if it was completely done with a soft opening, but I still made my way to look at the menu and place an order. The tea selection is nice and basically after chatting with the cashier, I found out that most of the drinks and ingredients can be mix-and-matched to your own custom drink if you would like. I was impressed with the list of organic ingredients. Just before receiving my order, the staff doublechecked with me on my ingredients because warned me that my order was "slightly unusual for the mix of tastes". In all instances, they were right--I chose a bad communication of rose tea and dragonfruit Boba. They offered to replace my drink after I experienced such a poor choice of ingredients (my choice). The ice cream was superb! All in all, I recommend this place if you're looking for tea/coffee/and dessert! read more

Didn't know how much I love strawberry matcha lattes until I tried this place. I live in BP where there are plenty of Boba spots around me, but I drive all the way to Fullerton because it's just that good! I don't like sweet drinks so I get the strawberry Matcha latte with regular milk and zero added sweetness and it's just perfect for me! Also- amazing service, easy parking, and dog friendly! my only request is that I hope you have online ordering soon! read more

This is a new boba ice cream shop in Fullerton. It was busy and hectic for the day we went this weekend. It was artisan and hipster modern style decors. The wait to order and to pick up was 30 Min plus at minimum. They accept contactless payment and parking is paid at adjacent parking lot for general public. Staff taking order and passing out order was polite and attentive. I got dragon fruit tea in carton and my wife got the matcha latte in jar bottle. So they had promos where you buy merchandise bottles and included free drinks. Will be back when they aren't so crazy packed lol. Give them a try. Perhaps next time ice cream lol. Heard there's Thai tea drinks pretty good. read more

Super friendly owner who helped explain everything on the menu! The ambience is really nice and I appreciate the air filters they have set up. A lot of students come here to study. The tea drinks have a very prominent "tea" flavor and you can tell they're organic and not artificial. The jasmine was nice and floral and the cheese foam tasted like cheese cake (it's dangerous). The Orange creamsicle is sooo addicting and the fruit teas were really refreshing. We also got the pandan ice cream which was super good and the owner told us he makes from actual pandan leaves instead of extract. read more

An absolutely amazing place, my girlfriend and I came for the first time and met the owner, they were incredibly sweet and made conversation with us. We have never tried this place and they granted us a first time discount as well a neighbor discount. This place was absolutely stunning and the decor was simplistic but felt very welcoming. It was my second time coming here so I tried their earl grey milk tea but I wasn't a big fan of how strong it was. I asked them to change it for me and the owner, Sam, was very kind about it :) He offered to replace the drink free of charge and made sure I was satisfied with my replacement. If you're considering whether it's worth visiting this place, I definitely recommend it! Environment: Very cute, airy, and light atmosphere. Feels like a cozy meditation tea place with lots of tables and books to get in work, do some art, or catch up with friends. I went with a friend and enjoy catching up and journaling. Tea: I ordered the match latte and it didn't disappoint. Creamy with oat milk and wasn't grainy :) my friend ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba and she enjoyed it! Boba was hot and chewy. Service: all the staff members are very kind and polite. They were very accommodating when I requested changes to my order and very considerate regarding the sweetness level. It was a really positive experience and everyone was kind despite how busy it was! Parking: there's a lot nearby for $5 flat fee, parking structure around the corner, and street parking in surrounding area for 30 min-2hours depending on the street. Overall recommend and plan to visit again in the future and hope you get to enjoy! read more

Stumbled across Sojeata as I was browsing Yelp for something to eat. Such a pleasant surprise! Believe the 5 star hype. The space itself was very refreshing and pleasant to be in. Haven't seen an interior designed for a shop like this around OC. One of the owners gave us a great explanation about the shop and it's intentions. Everything is in-house made using only the highest quality of ingredients - and the proof is in the products! We ordered Black Milk Tea, Strawberry Fruit Tea, and Pandan Ice cream. They were even kind enough to whip us some samples of the tea before we committed to our choice. Literally everything was perfect, it's a very tea forward type of drink - which I gravitate towards now. 50% sugar is not too sweet, but I might try 25% next time. Pandan ice cream had a light pandan flavor but not to the point where it was lacking - again not too sweet! haha. Unsure if this was the intention, but shop had a "slow down" ambience to it - in the best way possible! In this crazy, fast-paced world, the space made me just want to sit down and enjoy my order and just take some minutes for myself. It seems like great spot to do some studying or have a great conversation. We are super excited for this new shop to be close to us. Can't wait to go back, try more of the menu, and see the shop grow. Highly recommend!! read more

I've come here a few times already during their soft opening. They have premium tea and high quality matcha. They care about the product and have great service. Highly recommend the dragon passion, classic milk tea, or classic matcha latte. Chill place to hang out and great place to get drinks. read more

I was craving a matcha latte and found this cafe on Yelp. I was deciding between the original matcha and the wild blueberry matcha. The cashier took the time to explain each drink and suggested I get the blueberry matcha. I ended up getting that one and my boyfriend got the original matcha. Both drinks were good! The wild blueberry added to the overall flavor of the latte without overpowering the matcha. It was one of the best matcha lattes I've had! My boyfriend really liked the original matcha. Cute, hip latte/boba shop! I always support businesses that make anything in-house since it feels more special and different; and Sojeatea makes both their boba and ice cream themselves! They also gave an adorable mini bamboo spoon to take home with my order :) I'm not usually a fan of flavored lattes or milk teas but I actually didn't mind the strawberry matcha latte. The boba texture was chewy and the drink itself was not too sweet (I did order less sweet though). I also ordered the corn ice cream and the flavor was great but there were small pieces of extra frozen parts making the texture less smooth. Good amount of space & tables inside but it's usually pretty busy even during the soft opening. Parking is street parking or there's a lot nearby that's pay to park (free on Sundays). The staff is super friendly and I can tell they enjoy what they do. Although it's not a place I'll frequent often, since I'm more of a black coffee gal - I'd recommend for at least one visit! read more

Drink: I can't get enough of their peach tea with lychee jelly! I am a big "not too sweet" type of boba tea drinker and their peach tea 100% sweetness is perfect for me. Love that they are organic and fair trade. Service: kindest and friendliest staff. Very attentive and open to giving helpful recommendations, especially if you're indecisive (like me!). They even gave us some free samples of some new ice cream flavors they're trying out. Ambiance: I'm the type who prefers to study/get work done at cafe shops and the clean, minimal vibe of this shop helps me stay focused and productive. Super clean, calm, and a Cambodian-American cafe settings. All staffs are friendly. I got the ice coffee and it was the best ice coffee i've had all month, it's fresh, and strong, not too sweet AT ALL, literally the perfect amount of sweetness. I'm a daily matcha drinker and whatever matcha they use here is bitter. I was surprised I didn't like it because I judge a matcha by its color in a drink, and the color looks fine but it's just so bitter that the bitter taste lasts on your tongue. I got 50% of the wildberry lavender and while the syrup is good the matcha is not. Another factor is that you order on an iPad which is fine and dandy but as a new customer I had no idea what sweetness levels were like or what drinks would be. The drinks have a description on the iPad which is CUT OFF so you still have no clue what you're getting. And no one to help you since you only have the iPad. And NO MENU in store, also bizarre. My husband got the Ca Phe Sua Da coffee and because the descriptions cut off on the iPad had no idea it came with SOOOO much condensed milk that he got ube cloud foam on top of that and his drink was cloyingly sweet...his drink tastes like ice cream level sweetness which is fine if that's your vibe but it's really sweet. Really wish the descriptions weren't cut off on their iPad and that they had someone who helped when you order. All the workers are there but all behind the coffee bar on the left hand side of where you order which is odd and not personable. Also for 2 drinks, it was over $15 so pretty darn expensive and didn't like either of them. Wont be coming back but just thought I'd mention this place is not worth the hype. read more

Ube mochi donut holes are so soft and lightly sweet. Very memorable and a hit with my 3 y/o kiddo (my guilty treat to him when I returned home). Service wait was too long for a busy mom like me. Wed after dinner dessert with husband was still packed but understandable with college student crowd. I don't mind the wait. Why rush life? My husband, not so happy. We stopped by for boba last week during their soft opening. We tried the strawberry fruit tea and mango fruit tea with passion fruit boba. My kids got the cookies and cream ice cream. Everything is organic and the delicious. We were told the ice cream is made in house. Staff is very friendly as well and the atmosphere is super mellow. Wanted to love my drinks but they weren't great, sadly we ended up tossing them. Got a passion tea half sweet and it was still sooo sweet it was undrinkable, also got a hazelnut latte 25% sweet either a cream top and the espresso was bitter and not great. Home instant espresso tastes better tbh. The kiosk ordering system seems hit or miss, when we went there was a lady who didn't know what she was doing so it was about a ten min wait just to order and then another 10-15 min to get our drinks. The interior was nicely decorated although under construction still. Lots of students studying and seemed pretty popular. Won't be back though unfortunately:( read more

New boba place that has been open for 2-3 months for their soft opening. Staff: Darren (I hope I spelled it right or even recalling correctly) did a great job in providing welcoming service. He politely greeted us, and took his time in giving a little background of the store and drinks. Drinks/Price: 1. Oolong Milk Tea with boba and 100% sweetness 2. Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and 100% sweetness Both drinks had quality taste with no overbearing sweetness. I'm typically a person that orders 50% sweetness on drinks in general, but the staff were right about their drinks not being too sweet. Pricing is pretty average, maybe slightly more expensive if you are use to $5 boba. Reasonable pricing for the quality taste. Location/Parking: Downtown Fullerton area with surrounding businesses. Parking in the lot on Ameriage St. helps, but can be difficult on busy days. Ambiance: I think this place is a good social spot! I can imagine studying here works too if you like some background noise, but it can be a little loud (just depends on the person). I hope this boba place gets more traction and becomes successful. When I mentioned that I wished I'd known before ordering, the employee apologized, but it felt so dismissive, as though it wasn't really a concern and they wanted to get back to what they were doing. If you're out of a core ingredient like boba, especially at a boba shop, there should be a notice on the kiosk or customers should be told before their drinks are made. It would save customers from disappointment and make for a much better experience.

I go to many drink shops On the regular but I believe I've found the holy grail of all drink shops. I mean it. You totally should check it out and see for yourself. Lively/A Home Away From Home From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed by Sam. He was knowledgeable of all products, Sojeata's Mission, and the brand. The products they serve is made all in-house, all organic, and made to order- It can't be any fresher than that. I had a pretty hard time deciding but Sam was happy to give me recommendations and made choosing the right one for me easy. I went for the most popular one, the dragon passion fruit tea with regular Boba. It was delicious. It was the right balance of tea and dragon passion with the perfect amount of sweetness. I am usually hesitant to order fruit drinks at most boba shops because they taste like artificial syrup and Sojeata is the first one I've ever come across that actually uses real fruit. I come so often that I've tried a drink in every category they offer and they're all so good! I love a strong tea and theirs taste stronger than any cafe I've ever been to. Not to mention their smooth ceremonial grade matcha that is free of clumps or fillers unlike Starbucks. They have wonderful customer service (even when it's busy) and ask if I'd like adjustments to my drink every time. I tend to forget to add toppings to my order or adjust the sweetness when ordering with a cashier and have not missed a thing with their self order kiosk. They really pay attention to details to make sure your drink is customized just the way you like it. From the delicious drinks and croffles to the beautiful lobby filled with plants, Sojeata is the place to be. It's definitely at the top of my list for best cafes in OC. read more

This cafe is the best. All of their drinks and ice cream are organic and you can truly taste the difference. Best part is that they make everything in-house. Their teas have a bold flavor that is sure to please any tea connoisseur. With that being said, their milk teas are the perfect blend of having a tea taste with a perfect balance of creaminess heaven. Their fruit teas are made with organic fruit and housemade fruit syrup as well! Their ice creams are also churned in-house daily with only organic and all natural ingredients. Those tend to come out grainy, aggressively dark green, and honestly a little artificial-tasting to me. Little Ox is smoother and cleaner. You taste the tea, not a powder. The Genji matcha latte was my favorite. It's been sold out indefinitely, which I'm still a little sad about. These days I reach for the Okumidori matcha latte instead. My husband and my brother both usually order the brown sugar hojicha. Always with the salted cream top. We haven't found better versions of these anywhere else. It's also a great spot to work or study. Comfortable enough to settle in for a few hours. They carry nice merch too -- matcha sets, and recently Genji matcha tins if you want to make it at home. Highly recommend, especially if you've been disappointed by the trendier places.
