Matcha Cloud Cream, Black & White, and a chocolate croissant
    Jeanene ..

First time trying Dal Coffee Roasters and we really enjoyed it! We ordered the Matcha Cloud Cream, Black & White, and a chocolate croissant. The Matcha Cloud Cream was really well balanced, not overly sweet and you could still taste the matcha. The Black & White was creamy and good, but that coffee at the bottom definitely had a strong kick! The biggest surprise was the chocolate croissant. I'm usually not a big fan of coffee shop pastries, but this one was delicious and I'd absolutely order it again. The café was clean and inviting, and even the restroom was very clean, which I always appreciate. Overall, a great first visit and definitely a spot we'd come back to!

Excellent coffee and matcha drinks! I've been looking for a nearby location for a latte with smooth nutty flavor for a while and I think I found it. I ordered a Half Moon Latte and Matcha Cloud Cream. It's definitely worth a try! The barista was very sweet and informative on their drinks, she mentioned to stir the drinks and best to sip than using a drink. I couldn't agree more.

Super cute and aesthetic coffee shop! I ordered their signature drink, the half moon latte which is an iced latte with their cold cream and cocoa powder. The drink was well balanced and wasn't too sweet at all. I was recommended by the barista to mix the drink as well to get the cocoa powder mixed in evenly with every sip! There is plenty of street parking on the side. I recommended checking this place out if you're in the area!

Now let me tell you, this has been one of the yummiest matchas I've had in a while. That CREAM TOP, UFFF it's so tasty, for both the matcha cloud and half moon latte! The cafe is lively with locals gathering to chit chat, and the baristas are well knowledgeable in their craft. I'll be back again to try their other menu items!

Hands down one of the best matcha places I have tried so far! Staff is very nice, the interior is very cute and has warm lighting, and there is a parking lot so no need to street park. 10/10 matcha for me! I substituted reg milk with oat milk & it was so good. Will come visit again soon!

What a find in Buena Park. Delicious coffee and yuzu mango matcha tonic. Great spacious area with plenty of parking. Will definitely come back! Excellent customer service as well. Staff were a great help and very kind.

Dal Coffee is so good! They're a new specialty Korean cafe to get really good coffee & matcha. Dal is actually owned by the same people from Wynd Coffee in LA so if you like Wynd, you'll like Dal too. Their interior is very bright, modern, minimalist & has a very chill vibe that's great for working, studying or hanging out. Their menu has high quality coffee, espresso, ceremonial matcha, creative signature drinks and a selection of fresh pastries. They use premium & organic house made ingredients like their cold cream top which was very smooth and worked well with the drinks. I got and tried their half moon latte, black & white, matcha cloud cream & yuzu mango mojito. Both of the handcrafted espresso & matcha drinks tasted great. I liked that the drinks were strong, well balanced & the flavors were rich. The quality & consistency were excellent too. It's definitely a fantastic coffee shop to enjoy a great cup of matcha or coffee with some baked goods inside a cozy atmosphere. The service was really excellent too. The baristas were very helpful, inviting and really know their stuff when it comes to coffee. This cafe is worth trying if you're looking for a new coffee shop to check out in Orange County.

This shop is still in its Soft Opening Stage. There was one person working when I went and he was friendly. He gave me a recommendation based on what I was in the mood for and it did not disappoint. The coffee beans they used for this latte paired well with the flavors in it. I had never had an Iced Half Moon Latte. It was good in flavor and I look forward to trying more of their drinks. They had some pastries to choose from, my husband had the strawberries and cream croissant :) let's just say there were only a few crumbs remaining when he was done. There is plenty of seating to hangout or get work done. The parking was a little confusing at first but just make sure to park in the back there are plenty of spots back there. Give it a try for yourself and support their shop :)

First time trying DAL Coffee, their iced vanilla latte was delicious. Staff were super friendly and drinks were great. The shop has plenty of seating and a good size parking lot around back. Wonderful new shop in Buena Park, will definitely be back.

Great coffee! They really know how to make it right. The espresso was perfectly extracted, the milk was steamed to perfection, and the temperature was just right--hot enough to enjoy without being scalding. You can tell they care about quality. I'll definitely be back!

It has a lot of personality with cute murals, their message/purpose on a big board, and coffee beans ground for your education and to be able to smell the grounds before purchase. I only knocked it down from 5 because of the parking more than anything. Menu variation: 5 They have some classics and some fun options. They also have a variety of flavored creams for topping putting them in the 5 ranking for me. Customer Service: 5 I asked a lot of questions upon ordering and the staff was friendly, laughing, having a good time, and helpful. Love to see that in a workplace! Drink quality: 5 I got the iced Dalgona with Cream top with an add shot (it already came as an oat milk base) and my husband got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk and an add shot. Both drinks were DELICIOUS! The cream top was an absolute delight, the little pieces of honeycomb made for a fun little sip and crunchy surprise once and a while, and both coffees were smooth and balanced. Food quality: N/A Price worth it: 5 It's becoming more and more commonplace with our coffee orders that we're paying about $9 a drink with our modifications. This was no different, but since I didn't have to modify the oatmilk it was just a little cheaper than other spots. We will be back if/when in the area! Enjoy your own culinary adventure!

We felt uncomfortable with the staring and the overall lack of warmth, and after standing there for a while, we decided to leave. What made it especially disappointing is that we are both minorities and genuinely wanted to support a new minority-owned business in the neighborhood. Instead, we walked away feeling completely unwelcome. Before leaving, I brought the experience up to someone who worked there, and the only response I received was, "I'm so sorry." There was no attempt to understand what happened or make us feel differently about the experience. It's really unfortunate that in 2026, people can still walk into a business and feel unwelcome because of the way they are treated. Customer service and simply acknowledging people who walk through your door should be the bare minimum. I really wanted to support this new neighborhood business, but unfortunately, I'll stick with places like Smoking Tiger where we have always felt welcomed and treated with kindness.

But when the lowest suggested tip starts above and beyond a "normal" amount, it feels less like a suggestion and more like pressure. At 35%, I half expected someone to be outside washing my car while my espresso was pulling. I'd definitely recommend this place for the coffee and pastries. I'm not sure if they don't have the AC running enough because the place gets so crowded, but I was sitting there trying to study and eventually got so hot that I had no choice but to leave. Honestly, I feel like a coffee shop being THAT hot is serious enough to take off two stars. The coffee itself deserves five stars--it really does taste that good! When you get the app, you can also get $5 automatically applied to your first app purchase. If you ever signed up for their rewards program before downloading the app, they import your points from your phone number account :). My only mild complaint is that the timed order- for-later request did not seem to make too big a difference, as my drink was probably ready 25 minutes early. Better early than late, though! Staff were friendly and informative as always. Shop had a few customers seated inside and outside, so there was plenty of room to study or sit a while. It was a bit cold for me, so probably a good place if you want some strong AC. Music seemed like a millenial-pleasing alternative-y mix: good for nondistracting background sound. Honey Bori Latte is one of my favorite seasonals anywhere! Loved it as intended at full sweetness (not too sweet) and still loved it at less sweet (recommend if enjoying with a bread or pastry imo). I like most specialty barley drinks. Default is dairy, so I assume there would still be some even if made with oat milk ($1 extra). I love the crunchy wheat snack topping, and it kind of reminds me of the cocoa puff topping in that black caf latte in Dland/Galaxy's edge. Will be back!

Yet recently I've been coming and truly haven't been enjoying it the same. I used to come and study or work as I enjoyed their drinks and baked goods. The environment is usually buzzing with more people working or studying or groups of people talking. Their pastries are always good and yummy which is a BIG hit. Yet I am a big coffee person, the quality of the coffees and drinks have gone down hill a lot. I would always order the Campfire latte or the Smoking Spaniard latte (when it still had cardamom in it) and would LOVE it. But now when I order drinks, most of them aren't very good or are missing flavors. The Smoking Spaniard is still yummy yet it used to be sooo much better back in the day, now it taste more like a regular spanish latte. I always see the new seasonal drinks and menu and get so excited to try them just incase I find a new favorite. Most of them have been a miss sadly :( The fruit lattes and drinks from their seasonal menu usually has actual chunks of fruit in it which makes it hard to drink and you have to chew while drinking a latte ;( not my fave. I went in yesterday to try their summer '26 seasonal drinks which is Yakult! I was sooo excited. A blueberry Yakult matcha latte! yummy! I got there, got a new earl grey lemon loaf from the bakery, got my blueberry Yakult matcha latte and sat down to try. Sadly, it didn't hit... the blueberries are still super chunky so I had to use 2 different straws because my first one got stuck with blueberries in it. The Yakult foam was really good but the blueberries weren't :( I HIGHLY recommend when making fruit syrups for coffee, boil down the fruit and blend it or strain out the big pieces. I sadly have stopped really coming to Smoking Tiger so often because I haven't been impressed and other coffee shops have been popping up that has better quality now :( Smoking Tiger has been focusing more on quantity of stores rather than quality of their food and drinks.
