We visited this adorable spot on Mother's Day and had a lovely experience! My brother was craving shaved ice, and my niece recommended it. The charming decor features cherry blossoms, anime comic books, and cute figurines, creating a great atmosphere for families & students. We tried jasmine mousse tea, peach oolong mousse tea, soybean shaved ice, and matcha/choco mochi. The mochi was my favorite--soft and perfectly sweet! The jasmine tea was delightful too. Everything got a solid 5/5 from me, and the exceptional service made our visit even better! We loved it.
There's plenty of space and seating both indoor and outdoors. Parking is available nearby or in the structure. The place is tucked in a cute little corner and the decorations inside are so cute! The service was friendly and the tea and dessert options were plentiful. We recommend the shaved ice as the snow is super soft and perfectly sweet. Best to be shared between 2-3 people. The cloud drinks are also great choices if you love milky sweetness.

We tried ordering from one of the two kiosks, and when the card reader didn't work, we were helped at the register right away. Their "perfect sweetness" is not sweet AT ALL, and I say this as someone who is more sensitive to sugar. MANGO MOCHI: 5/5. I've never had a drink textured like this before. The "liquid" mochi had a soft and velvety mouthfeel, and the flavor was very much mango-forward. I'd come back for this one. MATCHA COCONUT: 4/5. Holy matcha. I'm a matcha lover and this one was strong, even for me. If this were a group project, matcha did all the work while coconut hung out with friends. While this one was not for me, I can recognize the quality of the matcha here. MATCHA CLOUD: 4/5. Surprisingly good. The cloud had a strong cream flavor and mellowed out the sharp matcha well. I thought this one was more balanced than the coconut. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: 4/5. Pretty solid. The shortcake itself seemed like a plain base with silky smooth cream layers, and the strawberry topping was refreshing and delicious, I wished there was more strawberry incorporated into the cake.

The owner was extremely helpful in going through recommended drinks and even came over to give my friend and I a mochi dessert on the house. The mochi dessert was light and not too sweet-definitely met my standards for Asian dessert! I got a passion fruit mango drink 50% sweet and it was refreshing. If you're in a hurry, there's a kiosk to order drinks. There's plenty of comfortable sofa seating all around.
Nice and clean and very pleasant smelling place! Different seating options inside and out. The lady who was working here was sooo sweet!! She answered all of my questions about which drinks did not have caffeine and I ended up getting the mochi mango which was very refreshing! It had mochi at the bottom of the drink that were not bits, but rather a wad of mochi. She even offered me boba in the drink because she knew I liked boba. So she added a few pearls in the drink on the house. Very thoughtful! And after trying the boba, I found a new favorite tasting boba! I will definitely return.

My friend and I couldn't decide which shaved ice to get--they all looked so good! The staff kindly made us a half & half (strawberry & mango), which was such a sweet gesture. The shaved ice was light, fluffy, and delicious. The shop is beautifully decorated, perfect for photos or just relaxing and chatting, with soft piano music in the background. Hope we can get half & half again next time!

First timer! I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful lady and used the restroom which was very clean however didn't have soap looked like mixed with water. The lady said she will let the owner know to put more soap which is important because the bathroom is for men /women so only one bathroom. The Thai Black tea with boba (posted pic below) was great and refreshing. The lady employee was very friendly and made my tea fast. They have outlets to charge your devices which I liked. The chairs are very comfortable to sit in and the tables are wide for you to layout your studying material. Great space and decor. This is a great place to study and grab a tea! Go check out

I went back to Sunny Tea after my last visit and I'm glad they took some things to heart. The server was friendly and they provided bowls for us to share our mango shaved ice. The ice was very fine and the mango was just right. If you get a side of condensed milk in the side, it's perfect! I also got a lemon Jasmine tea and it was actually very refreshing and not overly sweet like the typical lemon tea drinks. read more

My boyfriend and I went to go try this place to see if they had any snacks! Unfortunately there was no takoyaki when we went :( ! The service was a bit slow due to I think only one person working there so please be patient with your items! Peach Oolong- super yummy and creamy! Mochi- was super chewy and came with a creamy sea salt dip and topped with cereal! TIP: There is a restroom here and a few board games to play! Perfect place to use as a cafe! read more

Sunny Tea Studio is such a cute spot--perfect for hanging out with friends or studying with a sweet treat. The service was super quick & refreshing to have. The mango shave ice was amazing with fresh mango and ice cream. The mochi taro drink was tasty with a nice balance between the mochi and the taro. Whereas the mochi box was chewy, delicious, and fun with the foam dip and chocolate cereal crunch texture. Small little boba place in downtown Fullerton. We got two drinks and the mochi box. Matcha Ceremonial - 2/5 Matcha wasn't very flavorful would not get again. Tasted a lot more of the milk Peach Oolong Mousse- 5/5 Very delicious and flavorful!! Definitely get it again Mochi Box- the matcha mochi box was really good. nice and bouncy and comes with a sea salt cream dip and choco rice crispy cereal I would def come again and try the other drinks, shaved ice, or if the takoyaki ever comes back. Service: I think there was only one lady working there so it took awhile for our stuff to come out but it's okay we get it. read more

Tucked away in downtown Fullerton, Sunny Tea Studio is a cozy cafe that instantly transports you to lo-fi vibes in Japan. The menu has so much to offer, especially for my mochi lovers. We got their bestselling drink called the mochi mango that has actual stretchy mochi in it--you have to try this! But their mochi box, oh my goodness, comes dusted with ceremonial grade matcha, cheese mousse, and cocoa pebbles that gives it that ideal balance of chewy and crunchy. so yummy and so cute!! my boyfriend and i came on a wednesday around 6 and there were no other customers. they have 2 ordering kiosks which i liked in order to browse without feeling rushed. inside is very clean and spacious. lots of seating inside and out and super cute decor everywhere. it's tucked away in a plaza so you don't really notice it unless you're really looking. mochi mango (5/5) - this was super yummy! the mochi was really soft and silky with a neutral taste. not clumpy or thick like some other places i've had it! the drink itself was good as well, not overly sweet. oolong tea latte (5/5) - my boyfriend got this with the barley and chestnut popping bobas. the tea was really good, it tasted fresh and not overly steeped. the popping bobas tasted a bit like brown rice and had a good pop/crunch texture. i'll definitely be coming back if i'm ever in the area!! i hope more people come, the man working was really kind as well! read more

I first came here with friends, and it was so good I came back a few days later on my own time! First of all, the studio is in a semi-tucked away, creating a quieter space for their outdoor seating. Walking into the shop, the first thing you see is the cutest and magical decorating! It felt like walking into a cafe-turned-garden-turned-dollhouse. Tons of comfy seating for studying or hanging out with friends, and they keep everything regularly clean and wiped down. The drinks are so creative but still keep that basic comfort that a sweet tea gives on a hot day! The staff are quiet but kind and attentive when you have any questions! I would 100% recommend Sunny Tea Studio as a quiet study space or to grab a sweet treat with friends! read more

Stopped by this boba place on a Sunday afternoon. There was no line but there were a decent amount of people in there already. The person who served me was very friendly. Brought the family down to have a late lunch in the area. When you've got little ones, a boba cafe pitstop is inevitable. Like their dad, they love trying new and discovery. Enter Sunny Tea into the conversation. It's attached to parking structure so it's convenient. Plenty of seating, outside and indoors. The service is very kind and friendly. Prices are a little higher than other cafes but considering the decor and what they've done with the place you can see that extra dollar goes towards providing an accommodating experience. On this visit I did not order a drink for myself, however ordered a drink for each of my kids for a total of 2 lattes. Both were apparently very well received. Kids were stoked and agreed that they'd love to come again. Particularly my daughter who now has a goal of "coming back and reading the entire series Jujutsu Kaisen haha. Super cute boba shop with plenty of seating inside and outside! My friends and I stopped by here after playing Pokemon Go to grab some refreshing drinks. I got the jasmine tea with cheese mousse at 50% sweet. It looks like this place only does ordering by the kiosk, so there's very little human interaction. The shop itself looks like a great place to study or get some work done. It's also decked out with the cutest pink decors. Our drinks took about 5-10 minutes to come out. When it's ready, a staff member will call out your number to pick up your drink. Parking is inside of the structure, and this place is located right next to the FedEx and Wahoos! read more

The shop itself was very cute, it had a nice calm, relaxing, perfect for studying vibe. There were so many cute decorations that caught my eye and I believe the manga was available for reading, which is a cool feature. One downside to this shop is definitely its size as it felt like there was very limited seating. The service was great, the workers were eager to help, super kind and positive. The drinks itself were okay, they lacked a lot of strong flavor in my opinion. Although I did order for it to be less sweet, I don't believe that this was the cause of my critique. read more

Solid place for bubble tea/ boba. They have comfy sofa chairs and tables for studying or working. They have WiFi and restroom. They adjust sugar level and ice levels and can make it not too sweet which I prefer. Love trying different boba spots, it's hard to find differences, but here they also serve shaved ice so that is nice for a place to have desserts. I got a Jasmine cheese foam tea with coconut jelly and really enjoyed it! read more
