The worst experience I've ever had for lash extensions. Granted, I purchased a Groupon, but the Groupon description was "faux mink" lashes. Not even close. They were straight up hard plastic and she glued clusters of 3-5 together giving a very unnatural look and extremely uncomfortable feel. I used a strong makeup remover to get them off after only wearing for a half day. She is nice enough though talks the entire time so if you're hoping to relax will be challenging. She was also 30 min late to my appointment because she was stuck at the dentist. I know they happens but it just added to my crummy experience. read more

Sol Tans @ Sola - Lashes came out in big hard clusters - Permanent Makeup Near Me - San Diego, California

Went to Connie for lashes. I've had them done other places and haven't had this problem before. The glue not only irritated my eyes but it also clumped my lashes together and made several of my REAL lashes fall out. I let her know that she might want to take a look at her glue so others don't experience the same thing and got a snarky remark back, so I'm letting you know here. A simple, "Thanks, I will do that" would have saved this review. I bought the service with a refill and won't be going back. I'm pretty sure complaining the first half hour about litigation you're in with your landlord and about another client (who requested a refund) is not professional.. Save your lashes. read more

Loved my airbrush tan! This is the third airbrush tan I have gotten and it is by far the best. The color is the perfect natural bronze and has lasted for almost a full week! Connie was very sweet and knowledgeable and made booking appointments easy. Would highly recommend! read more

I was planning a trip to Vegas and needed a spray tan "badly." My friend referred me to Sol Tans @ Sola, so I booked it. My experience was seamless and my color was amazing! The tan stayed longer than I anticipated and I got a lot of compliments, both in Vegas and when I returned home. Connie, the owner, was very professional and provided me with helpful information on how to prolong my color. By far the best spray tan I've ever had. I highly recommend Sol Tans @ Sola. Thank you! read more

Connie is the sweetest! I went in for my Groupon spray tan and opted in for the post tan spray for $5. Everything was quick and easy and Connie went above and beyond to assure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. She even got me and chair and some water while I ate some lunch before the appointment (I arrived super early) will definitely be back. My tan is very natural and evened out wonderfully after my first shower even though I was a little rough with it the first few hours (I put on too tight of clothing and at first I was nervous it'd leave lines) I didn't know if I'd really like it but I ended up loving it and I'm excited to go back. I attached a picture to this review of before and after read more

Purchased a Groupon for faux mink lash extensions. The extensions were terrible: jet black, hard to touch and not natural looking at all. Even my husband was like, "what are those?" I was so dissatisfied with them. Connie at least offered to have me come back that evening and have them removed. Which I did. I questioned what type of extensions I had put on and while all her products had written on them faux mink, I think she just uses the cheapest kind. If you're going for natural-looking lash extensions these are just not it. I tried to write this review on groupon but she refunded my money so quickly that I couldn't. read more

This Groupon for a spray tan is a scam. Connie is so unprofessional. Another reviewer had the same problem. I called and the vm says send a text. I text twice. No response until the next day. No apologies just the delayed response a simple "that date and time is not available". I text back immediately and asked if any time on that day was available . No response. I'm asking for two weeks from now. She didn't even offer a day that would be available. Just a guessing game with no response and now I am out the money. Hope this saves others from falling victim to Connie's scam. read more

This was my first spray tanning experience. Connie made me feel comfortable and walked me thru the entire process. The spray was warm and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It looked very natural. definitely not the orange hue I've seen with others. The tan lasted about 5-7 days. I will definitely do this again. Thank you! read more

Connie is great!! She is such a sweet genuine person and she does a great job with spray tans! She uses the same product that they use at Sunless Revolution downtown but it is a much friendlier and less pretentious vibe! I've had 2 spray tans with her now and both times they have looked great on my skin and natural (in my opinion & compared to other places). It also lasted quite long the first time (about a week and a half - almost two weeks) with applying an organic non-sulfate lotion I got at Lazy Acres everyday. The second time it didn't last as long (about a week) because I got lazy with applying lotion and overall the weather in San Diego was a lot more humid. She has also worked me into her busy schedule with short notice more than once which I incredibly appreciate, and she is honestly just a joy to be around because of her friendliness and quirkiness and her super cool pink hair!! I definitely recommend getting a spray tan with Connie. I really don't think you'd regret it! :) read more

I bought a Groupon or LivingSocial for something that was like 1 month of unlimited spray tans. Connie was nice enough and my tan looked good each time. That being said I followed everything she said to maintain the tan but mine never lasted more than a few days. I also had booked an appointment with her but she said she had to go out of town and had to cancel. That's fine however the right thing would have been to have honored the missing week.... In any case, it was an average experience overall. Not great, not bad. read more

Connie is THE BEST and her spray tan gave me the perfect glow for my wedding day!!! Visiting with Connie was my first experience receiving an airbrush tan and I was SO happy to find Sol Tans on Groupon. This place is a little hidden gem tucked away in an office type building on a cul-de-sac. I was nervous driving to my first visit but after meeting Connie in person my nerves were quickly put at ease. She is very professional and made me feel comfortable right away. The airbrush tan itself blended in evenly, does not smell, and left no signs of orange leaving me with a natural and glowing tan. Connie was very patient and walked me through the steps during our visit and also texted me tips on what to do pre/post receiving an airbrush tan. Also, her prices and quality of work is unbeatable compared to other tanning salons! I would highly recommend visiting Connie at Sol Tans @ Sola - you won't regret it! :) read more
