I'm sure it feels great in the moment...but I bet it won't feel too great when you're shutting your doors. If you're THIS reactive to constructive criticism, that's on you babe. If you think I would have come back after THAT reply, you're crazy. Treating myself, as a customer, regardless of my experience in the industry, politely would have garnered a positive change in my review. After that reply...Good luck hon! Edit to owners second response: my initial review was in no way rude, it was honest and I actually left out details to show kindness to the stylist. It's not her fault, I never even said her name and that was on purpose. No one was "put on blast" (how old are we?) It was simply an accurate description of my experience. Blaming me for the HUGE CHUNCK missing from my hair is funny. Yes I had cut my own bangs, no they were not fixed by the stylist...clearly, look at the picture. Since the owner knew who I was. She also could have called me, she chose instead to argue like a teenager over Yelp. For new potential clients to see. I'd. Be. Mortified. When we went in there was only one stylist so when she said who wanted to go first I asked if there were no other stylists. She said no it was just her which I was disappointed in because I didn't want to have to wait. We weren't even offered any drinks. The stylist offered to wash my hair before she started my fiends trim I said sure thinking it would help with time. She placed some leave in conditioner and asked if I was comfortable. I was for a moment but I was left at the sink the entire time it was taking for my friends trim and hair curling so it definitely became uncomfortable. When it was finally my turn I was kinda surprused how basic a blow out was because she dried it and then used a curling iron to curl it right after. When I told another friend about that she told me that's not a true blow out and there's a round brush that should be involved and takes quite a while. As we were leaving I told my friend it kinda sucked and I felt like I could've done that myself. She said it might be that the stylist just wanted to eat because the stylist told her her bf brought her food. For the price, absolutely not. The girl was nice but she is not ready to work on her own. Also whoever does scheduling should've reached out to us to tell us we would have to share a single stylist and not just a surprise. I would not recommend this place, 1st impression is everything. I appreciate the owner reaching back out but I was not informed there would only be one stylist. That is a lie. We would have either rescheduled or booked elsewhere.

Although I couldn't find any photos of the exact look I was trying to achieve, I did have a few to use as a baseline. Drea listened to everything I described as I told her what my goals were (bring out my eye color, relatively low-maintenance, subtle-yet-noticeable color...) and she delivered!
