Super cute trendy multi salon co-op. Each salon is separate and the decor is individualized to the salon owner. Ample parking outside and some in the shade of big mature pine trees to boot. Electronic sign on LHS of entrance makes finding the salon you want to visit a snap but it's just as fun strolling through and window shopping all the services here. I purchased the Groupon, scheduled the appointment on HER website, got a CONFIRMATION email that the appointment was scheduled and went to the appointment, I even showed up 5 minutes early....and waited and waited. So I attempted to call her on HER number she provides on her business card and website, and a recording says this number is no longer valid....REALLY? Just had communication w/ Tania R. to get some work done on my hair first through styleseat.com and then via text and phone call. I sent her a pic of my hair to get a better idea about pricing. I figured that the $80 for ombre was very low. After sending a pic of my hair and one of what I wanted, I was quoted $250. I guess if that's the price then that's the price. I realize there was additional color that had to be done and that brought up the price some but not 3xs more!! That felt like a bait and switch. What prompted me to write this review was how she seemed to not want to deal with me. If she didn't like the price, she shouldn't have agreed to it on the styleseat site. Also, she tried to get me to switch to a different time than what I booked online. I guess she would rather get up at 1pm on Tuesday or Thursday instead of at 10 am on Monday. Again, I didn't set that up, she did. Once I told her the price was too high, she texted me that she had cancelled my appointment. Frankly, that was super rude but in reality she did me a favor because I didn't care for her tone or attitude. Won't be coming here if she's any indication of what to expect from this salon. read more

If I could, I would give this zero stars. I hate reviews that start like that but in this case it's justified. I bought my sister a Groupon for eyelash extensions with Tania Rodina at Sola Salon and she had the worst experience. When she showed up and informed Tania that she had a Groupon Tania got mad and proceeded to berate her about it. She told my sister that she "makes no money from Groupon and it's really shitty that she had one." She started working on my sister's eyelashes and got upset because her eyes were twitching. She told my sister to "calm down and move past the bad start." Then added that she really wished she would've told her she had a Groupon ahead of time so she could reschedule her. My sister got so upset she left with only 4 eyelashes on each eye. Tania was beyond rude and unprofessional. No one is forcing her to put deals up on Groupon, this was her decision and she should honor the deal and do so with as much courtesy and professionalism as she would any other client. read more

It is really a perfect experience , I went to color my hair I found Jessica Gudino (station #1) , she is so professional, funny and very patient . I picked the color and after I had it ,I told her I don't like it because it make my face looks pale, her reaction was awesome she said that is fine come tomorrow and we will pick another color match with your face and I will not charge you extra !!!! Wow what a good customer service . I went the second day picked a different color really nice on me I love it. Her prices are really reasonable , she uses Paul Mitchell which brand I trust. Within 48 hours after Alexander's Grand Salon & Spa gave them 24 hour notice of closing, Angelica and a few of her friends/coworkers, set up shop at the Sola Salon Studios in Yorba Linda on Village Center Drive and Yorba Linda Blvd. This is a suite salon set up; each having at least 2 chairs, a lockable door and separate climate controls. Sitting areas for clients are available throughout. It is extremely clean and well laid out. There must be noise baffling because you cannot hear all the conversations going on in separate suites even with their doors open. The Yorba Linda location is right off the Weir Canyon offramp of the 91 freeway, between Vons and CVS and has excellent parking availability with handicapped slots right in front of the salon. Each suite can set their own hours and prices, because they are independently run with no oversight from a boss. Angelica shares her suite with two others, the third has separate days and hours from the other two. Angelica is The best hairstylist that I have ever been to. She has cut and styled and eventually colored my hair since March 2008. She always remembers my family and my personal details and carries an enjoyable conversation throughout her ministrations. I have brought my children to her for their hair and several of my friends. I would recommend both Angelica Cosoi and Sola Salon Studios, Yorba Linda without reservation as both are excellent! read more
