Checked them out on Facebook too, since they have no number listed on Yelp or google, reached out on FB messenger to the Business and I was connected to a lady named Stacie. She informed me that you have to set up your appointment with her through an app called StyleSeat ... It's basically a Yelp for hair, nails, waxing, eyelashes, and pretty much everything beautifying. I'm not sure if all the technicians here at HOB use this app for scheduling appointments? But the app itself even has lots of reviews and pictures too, plus Stacie gave me her Instagram to check out even more of her work, and I was sold lol.... She really has some talent! So everything is by appointment through the app only. And it's really easy to use. So my appointment date rolls around. Stacie informed me VIA text she was a little behind and if I could come 30.mins later, sure no problem. Arrived and sent her the text that I was there (since she informed me they keep the doors locked for safety reasons) and she lets me in... The place is a little house that's been transformed into a salon, and each room has its own little station, it's super cute,, fun, clean and comfortable. I loved it. And Stacie was very easy to talk to, super sweet and friendly, And she understood what I wanted, even kept asking me little details to make sure she did what I wanted too!... and I'd say she delivered! she brought my hair back to life! lol. I was so happy with her work. She has the hands of a machine when it comes to blow drying your hair, lol. I've never seen such movement with a hairbrush and blow dryer before. Haha! But now I have full bangs, and I can't curl the front of my hair the way I used to because it's been thinned out so much. I specifically asked for an old Hollywood style, and I'm not sure why she thinned one side more than the other, because now my hair is completely uneven. I'm also afraid to use any heat on it, since the choppy layers could lead to even more split ends -- and I hate split ends! I truly believe Rachel doesn't have experience working with thick, chunky hair. My hair used to be beautifully thick, and now it feels like I have no hair left, especially with these short bangs. It seemed like she didn't know what to do once she saw how much hair I had, and instead of managing it properly, she just kept thinning it out. She even started using a lot of hair products, and once I washed my hair at home, I realized just how thin it had become. I also realized she didn't let me see my hair in the mirror while she was cutting it -- only after she finished styling it. I can't help but feel like she didn't want me to realize how much she had thinned it until it was too late. I'm not being dramatic -- it's just very hard to find a stylist who actually knows how to handle thick hair. On top of that, Rachel was chatting with her friends while cutting my hair, which was really unprofessional and distracting. She's a nice person, but I truly believe she only knows how to work with normal to fine or damaged hair that needs repair -- not thick, heavy hair like mine. People always compliment me on how thick my hair is; I've always stood out because of it. But now I feel so insecure about how thin and short it looks. I can't style it the way I like, and I'll probably have to wait a year for it to grow back. I'll never be coming here again.

The gal at the front was very sweet, and welcoming. It was time for my appointment. I booked with Marissa and Anastasia. They were both amazing. My makeup was flawless, and I was incredibly impressed with my hair. My hair is thin, see through and my scalp shows. Marissa made my hair look like I had a full set of hair. I called and as soon as I hung up, someone texted me to book an appointment. I was arranged with Rosary, who was not only amazing at what she does, but also so kind, friendly, welcoming and felt like home. She did not only give me the haircut that I wanted and asked for but she also fixed the haircut that the other salon butchered. So grateful for her and her magic hands! The day I got a haircut was the weekend full of parties I had to attend to and it worked out perfectly because my hair was camera ready. I got the pictures back and I loved my hair so much. Got so many compliments about it. Lastly, this place is such a vibe. Extremely organized and clean. Everyone minds their own business but also very welcoming and friendly.
