They have so many flavors! I got a HEAPING double scoop of Moose Tracks and Caramel Caribou on a pointed cake cone (don't come for me) and it was delicious. Moose Tracks is my favorite flavor of all time, so I was shocked to see it! The chocolate and caramel swirls were so yummy and the peanut butter cups were creamy. AMAZING!! I tried the Caramel Caribou for the first time and I would totally get it again. It was so caramel-y and sweet. The woman working the counter was super nice and she fit so much ice cream on my cone I thought I would explode. My boyfriend got the Chocolate PB Cup and it was a solid choice. The chocolate flavor was great and the little peanut butter bits had a nice sweet/salty balance. Overall a fantastic (and affordable) end to our date night! This low key shop has the best Froyo on Solano! There. I said it. Those is fighten' words you might think, but it's still true. I had the chocolate vanilla swirl and it was just as it should be. Creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. I've been trying other froyo places close to home for years, but the closest one with the best yogurt so far had been Yogurt Park in Berkeley. Now I can travel just a few blocks and have some great froyo, and at a reasonable price! Lots of toppings to choose from, a huge selection of scoopable ice cream flavors, friendly service and great pricing compared to other Solano frozen cream options. I shall return and spread the word! Came here at night around 9 PM because it was the only ice cream place open in the area at the time and so glad to have done so! The atmosphere inside was really so nice when we arrived. There are tables to sit at, the place is large and roomy, and lining the walls are an assortment of snacks and candies you can get. Their menu and prices are up on a board behind the ice cream, and I saw they serve some pretty interesting smoothies I'd like to try. Onwards to the best part though: They have an overwhelming amount of quality flavor options. Classics like Rocky Road, Butter Pecan, Chocolate Mint. Scoops for the sophisticated like Pistachio, Kona Coffee, and Green Tea. And enticing flavors like Huckleberry, Mango Sorbet, and Strawberry Cheesecake. The array was truly a little overwhelming for me. I ended up getting Strawberry Cheesecake in a waffle cone, and it was beautiful. They scooped the ice cream perfectly so that, as it melted, it went into the cone. I'd love to go back and try their other ice creams. read more

Found this place just searching for an ice cream shop on the way home. The place is really cute and well stocked. Love how it still gives old school ice cream shop. There are plenty of tables in the shop and a tv to enjoy if you just want to hang out. The prices are very good and affordable. I got two single scoops in a cup and the price was under $10.00 the lady behind the counter was so nice and sweet. She was so patient with my daughter who wanted to try all the flavors lol. She was very engaged and thought as we held a conversation about my daughter's first day of kindergarten. My daughter loved her Maui waui flavor and my maple walnut was so good. It was very creamy and I haven't had ice cream like that in a very long time. This place is on the way home so we will probably be making this a regular part of our stop home. read more

Stopped by on Friday afternoon for a quick treat for myself and family. They originally wanted me to treat them to some Frozen yogurt and since I have taken them to another spot down the street a few times in the past, I decided to let us try something new. Upon entry, it's basically your typical ice cream shop. That's all you see first. In fact, the frozen yogurt machines are behind the counter, so you can't access them like you usually would at a typical FroYo spot. So, the ice cream is what caught my siblings' eyes first LOL they completely forgot about the frozen yogurt and went straight to the glass to select what they wanted. ** The following review reflects my experience DURING the shelter-in-place order currently in effect. ** I don't know how Jamie W. and I are supposed to survive this pandemic without my Wow Cow nonfat soft serve. I guess it's technically not frozen yogurt since it's delactosed whey, but we're not picky, just calorie-conscious. It's only 12 calories per ounce, so $2.65 a small cup is only 120 calories. To get our daily steps in with safe distancing in mind, we often take a hearty stroll to Solano Avenue from the hills. In constant need of gratification, we stop in here for a treat we know we can handle. We're never disappointed, and the staffer who always serves us is always courteous and liberal with the crushed almonds. I loves my nuts crushed. That didn't sound right, did it? On our last visit, we got lucky and were able to get a swirl of chocolate and coffee, a marriage made in heaven or at least a Brazilian brothel. Wow now I know why I see so many people sitting outside this place every time I drive by. The yogurt is absolutely amazing. We had tropical yogurt it was passionfruit and guava, and my daughter absolutely loved being able to put all the toppings on her frozen yogurt. Clearly a popular spot :) There is a huge variety of items to choose from, from more than 20 flavors of popsicles to a ton of ice cream flavors to choose from, this place also has mangonada, Tostilocos, etc. and it would take a few more trips for me to try all the things I want to eat. I got a few popsicles last time, and the fresh fruit ones are the most memorable for me. The fresh watermelon pop is made to look like a slice of watermelon and is clearly made with fresh juice (and sugar ofc but def a tolerable amount). When we arrived around 7:30 p.m. to Solano Ice Cream, there were no other customers. A friendly gentleman came out and served us ice cream which tasted freshly made. Once we sat down, we realized that we somehow brought in the crowd. This small store could barely hold the dozen others who rushed in. Been going here for years for their soft serve ice cream. Perfect dessert after a Gordo's burrito a few doors down and the couple who own it are super friendly. Portions are good (usually a kids size with one topping fills me up) and they have a big selection of hard and soft serve. If you are looking for a generous sized scoop and generous toppings, this is a good place. The ice cream is fine but no better than Baskin Robbins. The shop itself has plenty of seating (we visited in the afternoon on a Monday so not very busy) and it is clean and neat. I came in with my two young grandchildren because I had read that they had child sized scoops and that other customers had been able to have 1/2 and 1/2 flavors for a single scoop. My grandkids were dazzled by the bright colored sour patch ice cream and the cotton candy ice cream but I knew that they would not want to eat a whole scoop of it and had hoped to do 1/2 vanilla for them. But when I asked, the counter person said "only one flavor for single scoop " (there is no child's size). So, of course, neither of them were able to finish their ice cream (and the flavors were not to my liking..). $10 for two children's ice creams was more than I was wishing to spend. My recommendation to all ice cream shops is to have a special kids size - very small for children under 10. I would have happily spent $2.50 each for a little scoop for my grandkids and then would have also bought some ice cream that I would enjoy for myself. And I would return. read more
