Matt, the sales Rep was my first contact. He explained everything, and, it all worked out just as he said. He said Sol-Up would take care of everything, and they did ! Permits, city inspections, electric company inspections, HOA paperwork and of course the installation itself,,, they take care of everything; they even paint the exterior box to the color of your building !! And the Powerwall 3 is a marvel of convenience and engineering. A lot of thought went into its design.. After 6 months,, I'm still impressed !!! Now,, my motivation to have solar installed is the electric company itself. You see, I could not understand why my home lost electric power when there was a fire/disturbance miles away. The electric company Rep told me their power transmission system was singular, they don't have the capability to shutdown individual power lines,, they have to shut down everything !!! So, the Powerwall 3 allievates their antique system with that shortcoming since I now have battery backup power for my entire house !! I can't recommend Sol-Up high enough, 5 stars isn't high enough !!!

My husband had Dillon come out from complete electric July 29, 2025 to do quite a bit of work in…read moreour home, shop and barn. We let him know we needed to make sure the barn would not burn down and to make sure everything worked properly and to install a camera so I could see my horse. Apparently the company is supposed to warranty everything for six months. Well almost 6 months to the day the portion of the barn in which Dillon worked on stopped working. Lights would not turn on. So we called and they said that this is under warranty. Dillon came out and spent 45 minutes. No parts needed. He said a couple wires chattered which basically means came loose. But then he said he had nothing to do with that and he charged $175. My husband wasn't home so I asked him to please call my husband about this because I was under the impression it was under warranty. Dillon's personality changed right away and he became defensive. He would not call my husband. So the owner called my husband to discuss it and my husband told him he couldn't understand why the only portion of the barn that Dillon worked on his part that's not working and there should be no charge or much smaller charge than this. Instead of talking this out with my husband, the owner was very rude and said to him "I guess I'll just put this under warranty and you need to lose my number and never ask for us to work on your place again". Lose my number???? This is a business and they're supposed to be professional. I really honestly think that his employee is not being honest withhis boss and that's why he had this reaction. Why does the rest of the barn work and no chattering on those wires? Hmmmmmm they could've had us for life and we are very good paying customers. Anyway, use them if you want, but the work was not good. If he had done the work properly in the beginning, this would not have happened. Oh and out of the several hours that Dillon was here the first time he likes to stand around and talk talk talk talk talk. Super Sweet, but he charges you for conversation apparently. I didn't say anything. I just paid the bill the first time. By the way, I am so privy to giving excellent reviews. I love giving excellent reviews so this was very painful for me to type out. I've been a business owner for 30 years and I would never ever speak to a customer the way my husband was spoken to. Shame on this owner. Every one of them told me the same thing--my entire A/C unit needed to be replaced. The quotes ranged from $10,000 to $12,000. Some companies only did a visual inspection, others used leak detection devices, and a few even climbed into the attic. After hearing the same expensive recommendation over and over, I was feeling pretty discouraged. Then I found Happy Heating and Air Conditioning. During my first conversation with Matt, I explained the whole story, including the unfortunate fact that my Doberman had used the outdoor A/C unit as his personal urination target. Because of that, I was convinced the leak was being caused by coil rot. I shared what all the other companies had told me and how frustrated and discouraged I had become. After I sent Matt a picture of the unit, he told me he was fairly confident that coil rot was not the culprit. More importantly, he offered something that none of the other companies had--a definitive way to determine exactly where the leak was coming from: a bubble hydrogen leak test. Matt was honest from the beginning. He explained that the test could bring good news or bad news, but either way we would finally know exactly what was going on with the unit. He came across as knowledgeable, experienced, confident, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right solution instead of simply selling me a new system. There were no surprises, no pressure, and no sales tactics--just straightforward information. I was especially thrilled when Matt said they could get the testing scheduled right away. In Reno, it seems like everything is booked out for weeks, especially with the hottest months of summer approaching. As promised, the crew arrived right on time and immediately got to work. Their goal was clearly to be as thorough and efficient as possible, which I genuinely appreciated since I was paying for their time. There was no standing around, no unnecessary breaks, and no wasted time--just professional diagnostics from start to finish. A special thank you to Lorenzo and Kevin. Both were polite, knowledgeable, professional, and, most importantly, seemed to genuinely care about helping me avoid unnecessary expenses. It's rare to find technicians who are just as concerned about your wallet as they are about fixing the problem. The best part? My final bill came in well under $1,000--far from the $10,000 to $12,000 replacement quotes I had been given by other companies. Instead of replacing my entire system, they took the time to properly diagnose the issue and perform a precise repair that saved me thousands of dollars. Started researching via Yelp (of course)... I would rather stay with the smaller business, and this one stood out. Called, and got a live person! Very professional, and just my luck they had a cancellation. Transparent with pricing and look forward to his visit today! Thanks for picking the phone up, and will update after the visit. 5 stars-!!! On time and extremely knowledgeable-!! Matt rocks! Definitely going in my contacts-. Passionate about his work and extremely customer focused! Needed and replaced a capacitor and .5 lbs of refrigerant.. My dogs are happy too! Will call them again in November for a tune up/maintenance.. also have them clean up the furnace.. Saved for now until we need a new ac unit.. but when that happens we will call Happy Heating..
