We arrived an hour after opening and everything was being freshly restocked. There are so many wonderful choices but since we were trying to cram as many places as we could into the weekend we limited ourselves to 2 pastries. We tried the almond croissant and the lemon one. The almond was good but maybe a tad over baked. It didn't have that tender flakiness I expected of a croissant. Flavorful yes and still worth a try. Next up was the lemon filled croissant. OMG!!! this was perfection in a pastry. Tender flaky and just the right amount of the filling. The filling was sweet and tart but in an addictive way. I wanted to go back and buy several more it was that good. If all the other fruit filled croissants are like the lemon, you won't be disappointed. They have a varón options including coffee. We skipped coffee since we had another place picked for coffee. If you're in Knoxville give this place a try. I'm sure you will find a delicious option you'll love.
