The team at Schwabs is knowledgeable, patient, informative and professional. They never let you leave until you have footwear that fits well and is appropriate for the conditions unique to each customer. They have custom ordered sneakers for me that upon arrival were not conducive to my needs or interests and never flinch if I ask to try a different product. My last 3 experiences, Claire has been the person working most closely with me. She is a superstar! After two visits, trying on MULTIPLE style sneakers in various sizes, she and her teammate got me fitted into a pair of Ghost Max 3. They fit amazingly well out of the box and are comfortable even with my custom orthotics inserted. Then, for the first time , we stopped here at Schwab's 2nd Wind in Setauket, a small storefront shop behind Stop and Shop. What a find. He had exactly the Hoka shoe we were looking for and my wife was so impressed with the "old fashioned " personal service of having the shoes removed from the box and personally handed to her. The icing on the cake? The price at this small store was LOWER than the big mall store.

There is a huge selection of men's women's and kids shoes and they even have a robust clearance section. I didn't interact with any employees but there didn't seem to be a lot of them around even if I did need one. The displays were clean and easy to shop. I unfortunately didn't find anything that day but will consider them again for future needs.
