I believe it is important to take care of ourselves, especially as we get older. Breast cancer is serious business, and getting screened yearly is crucial to catching it early. Solis makes the process so easy/quick, and as painless as possible. I always book ahead of time and am surprised when the reminder pops up that it's my time to come in. Upon arrival you check in and give your ID and insurance card. You will get called back to go over some questions on an iPAD and you will be walked back to the changing rooms. In the changing rooms you are given a bag to carry your belongings in. Next up is the screening part. I'm one of the lucky ones that the process of the "booby-mashing" doesn't bother me in the least. It might be a little uncomfortable but only for a short time. I had a 7am appointment on a Friday. I was at my office with a Starbucks in hand before 8am. I had my results on Monday. The people were fine, amiable.. no problem with them BUT the service of the device! I think these services (ANYWHERE!!!!!) should be ILLEGAL!!!! Horrible experience which lasted longer than expected or longer than I thought and I felt radiated/RADIATION and VIBRATING AND HEAT for DAYS LATER and could NOT SLEEP!!!!.... No way! I was referred here for a bo.e density scan. Nice facility! Being a man, I was a little uncomfortable being in a mammography office, bit I got over it. Front desk was nice to me. I waited over 30 minutes to be seen...and my appointment was 9:30am. Technician Keke was awesome. Very friendly and understood about my lack of mobility (recently had broken hip surgery.) The only negative was the 30-minute wait time so early in the day. read more

I canceled my 2026 appointment because I have had billing issues the last two years. This company cannot seem to get it together. It took me nearly a year to resolve the 2024 billing issue (they said their billing system was down for months...really?). I confirmed that I was in-network before my 2025 appointment. They filed out-of-network! They sent me to collections when I was actively attempting to resolve my issues. I refuse to pay a bill for a service that was 100% covered under my insurance because you filed it incorrectly. And if it was, they were supposed to disclose that services are out-of-network before the service is provided. They did not. You can't get anyone on the phone without spending hours. Enough is enough. There are other places that offer these services that know what they are doing. read more

Because I worked for their competitor, I had not visited Solis in over ten years. My primary care sent a referral over for my annual mammogram and location-wise, they're very close and it made sense to get it done at this location. I visited Quest and stopped by to make an appointment, it was PACKED. I was able to schedule an appointment fairly quickly, after verifying they accepted my insurance. I showed up a bit early and I'm thankful I did, I was able to be seen, before my actual scheduled time. Also, I learned the hours around lunchtime are the best times to go. The overall experience was pleasant and the total time there was, less than an hour. I will note, that Solis still has a practice that I believe is deceitful to the patients. Because I'm familiar, I knew what I was walking into. They partner with an outside radiology group, they do not have an in-house radiologist. Your mammogram will be covered, but possibly, you'll have a separate charge for the radiologist. This is something all patients should be told during the registration process, if not when the appointment is made. This was a common complaint we received from their patients, they didn't like the surprise billing. The staff was wonderful, and the mammography technician was thorough and made the experience a delightful one. read more

I hope this saves someone's life. I'm not sure what options are out there to get screened but find another place. I went in for my normal screening but have cysts always have said I felt one. They would not do screening said I had to do an ultrasound. Great let's do it. Nope! They said I have to get a referral they would handle which they did not. I called left message with Dr. they said they faxed it and instructed them to contact me to get appt. Sooooo after 3:52 minutes of prompts to just get to be on hold to make appt. Once I got through they said they see orders but no one called! This has been very frustrating. read more

I've been going here for many years, and Dr. Forte is the Radiologist who diagnosed my DCIS breast cancer. She has a great manner about her, and she has seen me through what I thought was going to be a recurrence but happily, was not. The mammography techs are gentle, caring, and sensitive to patients and their needs. The appointment process is super easy, as is the rescheduling process. I have trusted these goid folks for my imaging care for many years, and I'll never go anywhere else. Highly recommend. read more

This review is for the Solis Mammography located in downtown Fort Worth on 1250 8th Avenue. Every time I went to follow up on a "suspicious" area, I was not only physically hurt, but the day of my first Cancer surgery, I literally passed out due to their inability to get the images they needed! They blanket bill you a co-pay of $195.00 for all and any services. My insurance paid all but $15.00 of the bill for my pre-surgery images. Therefore I had a credit balance of $180.00. OMG! DO NOT PAY THEM THE $195.00 they request at the time of service is all I am saying! It took them 9 weeks and 1 day to give me back my $! Additionally, when I called to follow up on my credit, they said I had a $24.00 balance and instead of billing me for that service which had nothing to do with my original bill, they said they were going to take it out of the $180.00 credit! I went ahead and paid the $24.00 and reminded them that it was MY money and not theirs to use as they saw fit! I not only reminded them that they needed my permission to use MY money, but that I was the patient with Cancer and that the "back office" NEVER called me back for an explanation of their billing procedures! NEVER AGAIN! NEVER!!!!!!! read more

Scheduling is terrible! I've waited over an hour from actual appointment time for my actual mammogram, got here 15 min early as instructed and waited 1:30 before the actual mammogram. Finally got out of there 2 hours later! Ridiculous scheduling is so bad that they can't get this done in a timely fashion, I will never return to this location. I will try to find a different mammography group/office, very disappointed! That was last year, yes I did return. It is just as bad as last year or worse. Why do they make it so difficult to get a mammogram in a timely manner? Their scheduling has no regard for anyone's time, it is just terrible. The care for the patient is very poor. I would be even more frustrated, if possible, if it was necessary to frequent this office. I'm only giving one star so my review will post, really zero stars is where it should be! read more

They expect you to bring past screenings on CD format instead of transferring them. Of course they don't tell you until you arrive and then cancel your appointment. Who carries around their medical records on CD? I drove from out of state and they refused to transfer or use the records I brought with me. They had to be on a CD which they neglected to tell me when I made the appointment. read more

I went in to the Hurst location Oct 2024 for a routine annual exam that ins covers 100%. Before even being seen they get your ID & ins at check-in. June 2025 I get a call from a collection agency for that routine visit that ins should have covered 100%. I NEVER RECEIVED A BILL OR CALL FROM SOLIS ABOUT INSURANCE ISSUES. Nothing. Nada. I call and was told they had the wrong info, so I gave it again. Then another collection call. I call back and was told they didn't even have ins info for me, so I provided it again. Then another collection call. So I call again and was told they submitted the claim to in July 2025 but had yet to hear back from in. Got ANOTHER collection call - after I have already asked them to ask the collection to stop harassing me until they figure out what's going on......I call again and was told again they didn't have ins info on my account. WHAT?! So I asked for my account to be escalated because something is wrong and I am NOT going to pay for THEIR mistake. I have asked the automated system and 3 separate people to send me an itemized bill showing the charges and also what dates they submitted claims to the ins so I could try to get ins to look into it. I have yet, as of 10/27/2025 to receive any bill, statement, letter showing the charges or when they submitted the claim. I called the ins company and they have absolutely NO RECORD of them EVER submitting a claim. Ins also said the claim window closed April 2025, so they will not pay it now, and gave me a # for Solis to call to talk to them. Today, I received a call from an odd # displaying BLOCKED for the name and a (415) area code, didn't answer of course. They left a vm & said it was the supervisor Paul from Solis & they sent it to ins again (pointless now) and they would contact me again once they get my info off the collection list. I have used Solis for years, this is the first time I have EVER had an issue like this with them and after reading the reviews here I am starting to wonder why all the sudden we're all having issues getting our insurance to cover claims - could it be Solis isn't actually submitting them and only saying they are? I know my insurance company did not receive anything from them. Curious indeed. read more

Have been to this solis many times in the past and have received excellent care. However, yesterday arrived at my appointment and was told they didn't take my insurance at this location. I had completed all the pre-registration paperwork online to include my insurance information. Was informed the only solis taking my insurance were those affiliated with hospitals. What??? Was offered to have a Mammo-Heart evaluation. I would have to pay out of pocket. No problem, I elected to have this evaluation done therefore paid cost. PROBLEM I am trying to obtain a receipt with "procedure code" to use my flexspending account. Called Solis billing, was told they do not support this. I asked for a number or email address to Mammo-Heart. Told they could not provide it to me. DO NOT get this added evaluation if you need a receipt with procedure codes from SOLIS. read more

Strange processes at this location. I've never had to sit with a billing agent at other Solis locations, reception area was loud and raucous. I was finally seen by a tech 1 hr after my scheduled appt time. Then I was given a red card "Stop sign" to take with me to the front desk. Never have I ever. Why would you make an already uncomfortable and nerve racking exam even more uncomfortable? I'll stick to Solis in Burleson in the future. This location needs improvement. read more

I'm not sure what is going on. I have used Solis for years and all of a sudden they can't get it together with insurance billing. So I received a bill from Solis for $723 that said my insurance company denied the claim. I called my insurance company and they had no record of any claim from Solis. Next I called Solis and they had me repeat my insurance information twice then asked me for the billing address to my insurance company which since I don't bill my insurance company, I don't have. I offered the representative the phone number which she didn't want. The representative seemed confused. After going in for my appointment, filling out forms, giving them copies of my ID and insurance card, short of entering the insurance billing myself, I'm not sure what their expectations are. I've worked in the pharmacy industry for 35 years and it's not that difficult to enter a claim. It seems they didn't problem solve whatsoever when the claim was denied including simply checking the information with the copy of the insurance card they had. I also don't believe my insurance company was ever actually billed because they have no record of it. Get it together Solis. read more

I had my annual screening mammogram done today with Penny at Solis in Bedford. She was fantastic! Put me at ease right away and was obviously very experienced at what she does. The whole process took less than 30 minutes from the time I walked in the door to the time I was walking to my car. It was painless, stress- free and easy. I had to return after my initial mammogram due to a technical issue. A part of the x-ray was blurry. They said I must have slightly moved so I had to have my left breast redone. Mind you, the technician that did my first appointment had me sit and wait while she checked the x-rays. She said they were fine. I go for my second time and get another technician who proceeds to torture me. She was intent on getting the entire side area of the breast which is tender. I then have to wait for the results. It may have been around 30 minutes or so but it seemed like an eternity. She finally comes back and tells me to follow her back to do the right breast. The radiologist wants to compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges. The right side was worse. I told her she was hurting me. She did not respond. She insisted on getting the entire side of my breast in the machine and then clamped down harder on the right side making me tear up from the sheer pain. I have never had a mammogram hurt so much as this location in Bedford. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CLINIC. After all that, my results were fine and they didn't charge me for the second visit which is fair. I came home and told my husband thru tears about my experience. * 1st technician apparently didn't know what she was doing and the 2nd one was only concerned about getting the entire breasts in the machine no matter the utter pain of the patient/client. read more

I have used the Bedford Lisa Trent Solis location for many years. Their professionalism and courtesy has always been excellent. Due to dense tissue, I've occasionally been required to have diagnostic exams, ultrasounds and biopsies, and each time my technicians and the attending physician was unfailingly knowledgeable and polite.
