This place is relatively new. Their chips and salsa are fantastic! The tacos could be a little more protein. The prices are a little high for what you get. There's plenty of eating space outside and that is a great ambiance.

Awesome area at Revolution Mill. Solo Taco shares a space with Cugino Forno Pizza and owned by the same people. You also have Incendiary Brewing next door. The tacos are absolutely amazing. They start with house made corn tortillas and you have choices from Al Pastor, chicken, steak, shrimp and a vegetarian. Many fresh toppings come with. They have a sharable tray of chips that comes with salsa, queso and guac that I highly recommend. Grab some beer from Incendiary, tacos or pizza and after get you a scrumptious gelato! Friday nights there's live music as well. The pizza place also has frozen take home pizza for 10.99. such a bargain and delicious. Lots of outdoor seating lots of indoor seating and fun for everyone from old to young and even the four-legged ones.

Tried this new taco place for the first time over the weekend with family.. i felt it was only right to try the week of cinco de mayo! The service was fast and the food was yummy and authentic! the owner is definitely onto something with keep the menu simple and perfecting it! Is also great for people with food allergies/ sensitivities so they can feel confident when ordering! they have a painted mural that gives all the fiesta vibes and a cute outdoor patio to match. I WILL be back!

I'm so happy Greensboro has a new authentic Mexican taco spot. The menu is pretty simple. As you could probably tell by the name they only have tacos as entrees but do also have chips with queso, salsa, and guacamole. I tried 4 out of 5 of their tacos on the menu. Unsurprisingly the al pastor was by far my favorite. But the shrimp, chicken, and steak (in that order) were also great. All the meat and ingredients were well seasoned and tasted pretty fresh. The corn tortillas were fluffy and toasted to perfection. Each taco was overflowing with filling as well. There's limited iteration with the staff as you get a number and they bring the food out to you, but overall the service was pretty good and the food came out pretty quick. I wish they had more salsas in the taco station, but the marinara salsa was interesting. Tasted exactly how you'd expect, like a spicy marinara sauce. It was pretty good on the tacos.

This is such a great addition to revolution mill! It shares a space with cugino forno which I think is cool because you could easily order both if you're with a group who wants different things. Our tacos came out fast and tasted so fresh. I had the Al pastor taco and it did not disappoint. It was on a corn tortilla and they did not skimp on the toppings. The meat had a lot of flavor & it was the perfect amount of cilantro and onion. The grilled pineapple was also delicious. We also tried the chips and queso and I enjoyed those too. The chips were well salted & $6 is a pretty decent price. Service was good - you order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Every employee we interacted with was nice & it was very clean inside! I'll definitely be back.

Loooove this place!! The seating is shared between multiple restaurants, but they still bring the food to your table. The atmosphere was very lively and festive. The service was so great! Great description of the menu items and recommendations. The dips were delicious. Queso is normally my least favorite sauce, but WOWW this queso was amazing! The tacos were flavorful and the meat was tender. I didn't enjoy the shrimp taco, the sauce made the tortilla soft. The margarita was very sweet, just how I like it! They perfected the tacos/chips/marg combo.

Welcome Solo Taco to the heart of Revolution Mill! Boy did they deliver, and they've been open for only one week. The menu so far is small, but man does it pack a punch. 5 different taco styles and chips with different dips. Fresh, flavorful and full of great vibes here. Can't beat the location. It shares a patio with Incendiary Brewery right next door, and they have an extension of Cugino Forno right in the main restaurant portion. So now you have amazing tacos, fresh Neapolitan style pizza, a brewery with amazing drinks, a cocktail lounge (Grapes and Grains) and flavorful steak (Kau) all within a stone's throw. The tacos are the bomb! I tried 4 different ones (shrimp, steak, chicken and pork). Each one has the freshest meat that is tender and juicy, with authentic flavors, spices and sauces draped all over them. One was better than the other. And the chips are fresh and come out hot. Come for the tacos. Or sit on the shared patio with the brewery and enjoy a cold one, they'll bring the food out to you. Want to bring the kids, but they're not taco fans? Grab a pizza at Cugino Forno in the shared space while you enjoy the tacos and a tasty beverage. No kids but pets? They're welcome inside and out as well. Honestly this place has it all, and the variety of experiences you can have with everything around it is endless. Come see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Love this newer spot at Revolution Mill. It's super casual and super quick but is flavorful and authentic. The service was wonderful and one of the guys working even offered to carry all of our trays out for us. I wasn't sure if they had drinks based upon to line stating margs coming soon but they do have them along with a few other bottled beer selections.

Place is overpriced. Tacos are $4 each. Salsa is extra even when you tip them at the front counter 20%. Flavor was good, but it's tacos you can't really mess up a taco. So I'm giving them 3 stars bc the food was actually pretty decent but bring your pocket book bc you're gonna spend $50-$60 on street food if you're on a date, which I was. Interior seemed extremely clean. But I'm not letting someone try to charge me $3.50 for salsa when I paid for guacamole, chips and 4 tacos and a beer and gave you a 20% tip. Told manager and he looked at me like I had 6 heads. Every Mexican place I've ever been to in my life has given us free salsa, guess this place isn't ran by the appropriate culture. We will never return.

Tacos made fresh to order with tortillas from scratch. Long lines but really quick service, almost no wait. I had a shrimp taco and a steak. Great flavor and spice. Reasonably priced too.

Steak taco, Al Pastor and the missing chicken taco it got devoured immediately it was that great

Visit on Sat May 30. If you like street tacos, you're going to love Solo Taco. They're very authentic handmade tortillas and if you're a fan of Al Pastor, there is the spit with the pineapple and pork cooking so you can see it is very authentic. It's quick and simple food that is perfectly done and great for a lazy Saturday afternoon while also enjoying the other establishments in the Revolutionary Mill area. Service was fast, quick and efficient. Tables and other areas were nice and clean as were the restrooms. We had the trio dip sampler which consisted of guacamole, queso, and salsa along with nice freshly warm, tortilla. The Al Pastor tacos, steak taco, and a chicken taco, which is missing from the tray because it was that good. It was pretty much devoured by my husband in two bites.

Located inside Revolution Mill, Solo Taco is in a large, renovated industrial space with a casual food court feel. Bright mural, open kitchen, simple seating. Easy place to grab a quick bite. It's co-located with a pizza place. May check it out sometime later. I ordered two chicken tacos, $3.99 each . The chicken was decent but under seasoned. The toppings added some freshness, but nothing stood out. I wish I had asked for more of the guacamole salsa because that added some flavor to the second taco. But there wasn't much on the first one . Tortillas held together well, but the overall flavor was mild. Portions are fair for the price. Quick service and straightforward ordering. This works if you are already at Revolution Mill and want something fast. Not a place I would go out of my way for. Must order: Try a different protein Heads up: Flavors are on the mild side

Solo Taco is one of the recent businesses establishing in the Revolution Mills area. We decided to try their tacos, they do have shrimp tacos, Al pastor, steak and mushroom tacos. I ordered one mushroom and one steak minus the pickled red onion. Not sure if it was "red cabbage" but it looked like it because my friend order hers w everything. She got one steak and one shrimp, she was very satisfied w her food. I also got rosé and she got a coke. The place is very spacious, since it's a shared space with the cugiorno pizza place. There's outdoor seating too, and ppl were enjoying the beautiful evening weather yesterday. The food was served within a couple of minutes and restaurant/ bathrooms are very clean. Overall a good experience and will come back again to try the other taco options.

Update for our 2026 annual visit:…read more We ate in this year and the service and ambiance matched the quality of the food we had last year. I have been looking forward to the World Ninja Championships so that I can eat here again and the team did not disappoint. I had the special, chilaquiles supreme and YES! Flank steak butterflied and so tender that I cut through it easily with a butter knife. They make the chips fresh for each order of chilaquiles and you can taste it. Generous amounts of every flavor that went into the meal and I left stuffed! Hands down, my favorite place and I have a feeling we are making a second trip here this year for sure! First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don't even like mole sauce, but I couldn't stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninia finals rome to town

The guac is the best! Perfectly seasoned and definitely not scooped from a tub. Tried the Carne Asada, Pastor, and Chorizo tacos. YUM! The service was friendly and fast but not rushed, vibe is casual - great for a quick bite or margs with friends. I used to love the Sopes here but didn't see on the menu this time. Maybe I missed?

We brought a whole group to Kiosco for lunch, and had called ahead to have patio seating. I love that there's indoor and patio seating, so there's something for everyone. Even with our large group size, the service was prompt and continuous. The patio seating had nice metal tables, and umbrellas for the tables to shade the sun. There happened to be a nice breeze that day also, so the outdoor seating was perfect for our group. For lunch, I had the burrito gordo, and gordo it was. I don't think I've seen a larger burrito from a sit-down restaurant. All of the fillings of the burrito were cooked very well, and the seasonings were on point. I don't know why I tried to eat all of it in one sitting, but I did and surprisingly didn't live to regret it. This place is great for parties of 1, 10, or more. True to its namesake, there are brightly colored folk art designs throughout the restaurant in line with their Mexican heritage. The trees that make it look overgrown from the outside actually serve to allow sunlight while masking the surrounding city, facilitating the transformation that makes you feel like you're in Mexico City. We came at an off-peak time in the afternoon and it was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. I was pleased to see some unique menu offerings like Birra Ramen and Sopes that deviate from the standard American-friendly fare in most places. Drinks were good - we had a regular house margarita, a triple berry margarita, and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. All were tasty and I would order again. I tried to order a Mezcalita, since it's not often I see a Mezcal option, but they were out of that particular liquor. We tried to get street corn as an appetizer, which they were also out of. We got cheese and salsa with chips instead. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa generous with the cilantro, and the cheese bold and warm. For entrees we had the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Birra Ramen. The quesadilla was good, though the beans on the side were pretty bland. The ramen was a unique and very tasty option, and I was not able to finish such a generous portion. I think I'd leave the cheese out next time since it made some weird textures, but the flavor was great overall. Overall, there are some small things to improve (having menu items in stock, bland beans) and the prices were a bit high, but we had a great experience overall. I'm not often in the area, but I'll certainly eat here again if I am!
