Small restaurant big burritos. This is only my 2nd time enjoying a burrito from bandito and I'm impressed. Like who ever thought pimento cheese should go into a burrito? I never would but it works and it's delicious. The employee that took our order was super friendly, she opened up our umbrella so we could sit outside to enjoy the fresh air and the light rain. The chips were nicely salted and the salsa was delicious I only wish there was more than one cup of it. The menu is super random but hey if you can do multiple things well then do it! It's like a mix of Asian and Mexican 2 things you dont expect to see together at the same restaurant however I look forward to trying more things. Service was fast and accurate

LOVE this place. Tried one of their Bo-Sodas - perfect way to decompress. As usual, the dumplings were on point. They're a must-order! I get them every time. Also had the Baja tacos with pork. Juicy, well-seasoned, and fresh toppings. Staff is always friendly!

Greensboro has two hot spots with the word "Bodega" in them, and this one is fantastic. I've been hitting up Bandito for years now, only to fall more in love with their delicious fusion food. Of particular note are the ahi tuna bowl, which gives you SO MUCH food, and every bite is gold. Everyone who works there is courteous, fun, and quick. They run a tight ship at Bandito, and your food and drinks are always prompt and fresh. Vibes are chill and hipster, with local flavor (artists, brands) donning the walls and outdoor seating area. Swing by on Friendly Ave next time you're in the mood for amazing Asian/Hispanic fusion, you won't be disappointed!

We were downtown recently and decided to stop into one of my favorites, Bandito Bodega. As a creature of habit, once I find something I love, I stick with it, and Bandito is a great example. Since my first visit to their truck years ago, I have always gotten the Southwest Pimento Cheese burrito/bowl. The combination of flavors is amazing, and the portion in the bowl is massive. I tend to get 3 meals from their burrito bowl, and love every minute of it. We almost always get our food to go, but while we wait they have some fun, tattoo style art adorning the walls to check out. I think the owner is friends with a tattoo artist if I remember correctly. If you still haven't been, check this spot out. They have a unique combo of flavors, many creating a fusion of Asian and Mexican. Great spot to check out for sure!

Such great offerings here at this food truck turned brick and mortar spot! Their menu is split between Mexican and Asian dishes, in my opinion the Asian offerings are what really shone. We had the pork dumplings (in an incredible sauce), nachos (big, messy, cheesy like you want them to be)!, the pimento burrito and the oyakidon rice bowl. The rice bowl and dumplings were exceptional, the other thing were totally fine but not the showstoppers to me. We also had the furikake fries which came in an enormous sack that fed all of us.

I love the chicken gringo at Bandito's!!! They are always fast realizable and my food call in orders take no time. I live in the neighborhood and this place is cute to sit outside or inside for a quick bite. No frills, but 10 out of 10 recommend

We recently stopped in for lunch and it was amazing! We started our meal with the chips and queso. The chips were fresh and crispy and they gave us so many. We then split the dumplings, rolled tacos and cheesy corn. Everything was amazing and it was a ton of food so we had extra to take home!

Dumplings were great in a delicious sauce!

Stopped in for the first time, as they have been on my radar for some time, and glad we did! The brick and mortar restaurant is small, counter service with some seating inside and outside as well. We opted to sit inside. They have little stools, same as they had in art class when I was kid. The seating could be more comfortable, but the table was clean. The staff were very friendly, and the food we got was excellent! Prices weren't bad either for all the food we got. I would like to see them lean on a bit more to the Asian/mexican fusion and come up with some more truly eclectic combinations, but what we got worked. I particularly enjoyed the pickled carrots in the nachos as a nice touch, and the gojujang dip with the fries is a great accompaniment! Would definitely recommend, maybe for takeout though if you live close by.

I confess that when we arrived I saw the vibe to take away your food and eat at home, but we were too hungry for that, so we stay. The place is small, with just a few tables to eat but the service is super nice and helpful to understand the menu and choices available. The food is a nice surprise: super tasty with a lot of flavors and despite have spice you can still feel the other ingredients (it's not super strong). We ordered the Baja and Asian taco (my favorite was the Baja) and also the ahi tuna bowl (spectacular).

    Kimchi Fried Rice with Steak
    Shaylee M.

I visited here for the first time in a year. Reason being was because they took the donburi off of their menu. I missed this atmosphere this place has, so I had to stop by. I decided to go with the Kimchi Fried Rice, which I'm glad I did. This dish was so delicious and fresh with a decent kick to it. The guy behind the counter was knowledgeable and advised me right when it came to this dish. I will definitely be back more than just once a year.

Taco, very little bland meat, not worth it.

The Korean Cheese Corn was $8 & a great portion size. Tasted great. So glad I tried that, worth it. The black beans I regretted ordering. They were flavorless, made no sense to me at all. The rice was like sushi rice & was tasty; I liked it. The rice didn't go with the bland beans, not at all. It was perplexing. The taco was lacking flavor & overpriced. I wish I hadn't ordered the black beans & taco. I didn't see meat, barely any, & way overpriced, not good. I do recommend the Korean corn & the Asian sushi like white rice.

Great food & service! I stopped by Bandito Bodega to try their infamous pork dumplings. They are great! I also ordered one of their burritos- it was spot on! The ONLY 'issue' I had was that I should've ordered TWO servings of the dumplings! Great food and fast service! You truly get your money's worth!

Incredible food. Immaculate service. One of my favorite spots forever-- will always send non Greensboro natives here. They just changed their menu and I'm devastated about the lack of kimchi fried rice, but the new menu is super promising as well!

Update for our 2026 annual visit:…read more We ate in this year and the service and ambiance matched the quality of the food we had last year. I have been looking forward to the World Ninja Championships so that I can eat here again and the team did not disappoint. I had the special, chilaquiles supreme and YES! Flank steak butterflied and so tender that I cut through it easily with a butter knife. They make the chips fresh for each order of chilaquiles and you can taste it. Generous amounts of every flavor that went into the meal and I left stuffed! Hands down, my favorite place and I have a feeling we are making a second trip here this year for sure! First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don't even like mole sauce, but I couldn't stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninia finals rome to town

Extra parking is located in the back. The guac is the best! Perfectly seasoned and definitely not scooped from a tub. Tried the Carne Asada, Pastor, and Chorizo tacos. YUM! The service was friendly and fast but not rushed, vibe is casual - great for a quick bite or margs with friends. I used to love the Sopes here but didn't see on the menu this time. Maybe I missed?

We brought a whole group to Kiosco for lunch, and had called ahead to have patio seating. I love that there's indoor and patio seating, so there's something for everyone. Even with our large group size, the service was prompt and continuous. The patio seating had nice metal tables, and umbrellas for the tables to shade the sun. There happened to be a nice breeze that day also, so the outdoor seating was perfect for our group. For lunch, I had the burrito gordo, and gordo it was. I don't think I've seen a larger burrito from a sit-down restaurant. All of the fillings of the burrito were cooked very well, and the seasonings were on point. I don't know why I tried to eat all of it in one sitting, but I did and surprisingly didn't live to regret it. This place is great for parties of 1, 10, or more. True to its namesake, there are brightly colored folk art designs throughout the restaurant in line with their Mexican heritage. The trees that make it look overgrown from the outside actually serve to allow sunlight while masking the surrounding city, facilitating the transformation that makes you feel like you're in Mexico City. We came at an off-peak time in the afternoon and it was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. I was pleased to see some unique menu offerings like Birra Ramen and Sopes that deviate from the standard American-friendly fare in most places. Drinks were good - we had a regular house margarita, a triple berry margarita, and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. All were tasty and I would order again. I tried to order a Mezcalita, since it's not often I see a Mezcal option, but they were out of that particular liquor. We tried to get street corn as an appetizer, which they were also out of. We got cheese and salsa with chips instead. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa generous with the cilantro, and the cheese bold and warm. For entrees we had the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Birra Ramen. The quesadilla was good, though the beans on the side were pretty bland. The ramen was a unique and very tasty option, and I was not able to finish such a generous portion. I think I'd leave the cheese out next time since it made some weird textures, but the flavor was great overall. Overall, there are some small things to improve (having menu items in stock, bland beans) and the prices were a bit high, but we had a great experience overall. I'm not often in the area, but I'll certainly eat here again if I am!
