I love this place. I got the lunch special 7: two enchiladas with beans and rice. Great service and relaxing dining area with music and tvs.

Great food and service. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We went for a late lunch, so it was not too busy. Quick service, generous portions.

Nice patio ambiance! I also really like having Tajin available for my margarita rim too!

Food was delicious. Service was amazing even with how busy it was. Older location, but was still very clean and good vibes.

I've been here many times but it'd been a while. The chips and salsa 100% hit the spot. The salsa had so much flavor and definitely a lil kick. I get overwhelms with the menu options so I kept it simple with two tacos and a guacamole salad. One taco was pulled chicken and the other was ground beef. The beef was better seasoned but both were good. The guacamole salad was fresh and tasty!

My kickball team has been coming here as a group for two years now after every game and we absolutely love it! The service is great, they're super fast and efficient at taking orders and bringing the food, drinks etc. They're always nice and welcoming to our large group! The food is of course delicious and super affordable. Such a great place to come with a big group, they know how to handle it and it's always a great time. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

I haven't eaten in the restaurant but we've ordered food here to go or from delivery. I've tried their Camarones a La Diabla and ACP (Arroz Con Pollo). Each serving can be for 2-3 persons. ACP is now my favorite. Orders come with tortillas, and free chips and salsa.

We came with a large party and sat pretty fast. Staff was very friendly and attentive! Food was okay/good but nothing over the top. However their melon margarita was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend.

A true Mexican restaurant! The atmosphere takes you to Mexico, the music is lively and appropriate, and the food is delicious and tasty! The service was super fast, attentive, and they even speak English and Spanish (you can take a chance and practice your Spanish with some of the waiters)! They were always concerned about whether we needed anything else (drinks, napkins, plates, cutlery). It really was something different. The food ended with a flourish: when you sit down, you are surprised with a generous portion of nachos to enjoy with a delicious sauce. We ordered the Mexican nachos and ceviche tacos, both of which were very generous and easily satisfied our hunger. I live very close to this place and have passed by several times, thinking that the outdoor area with its lights is super beautiful and always very lively. Now that we have been there, we will definitely go back a few times!

We came back to Casa Vallarta for a quick lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was quite busy, but we were seated quickly. I ordered lunch No.1 which was supposed to have a chili relleno and a taco. It came with a beef taco, beans, guacamole salad, and some beef cheesy thing that was not a chili relleno! I didn't eat the cheesy beef thing, had I known that was what they consider a relleno, I would not have ordered it. My husband ordered the lunch carnitas. He said they were very good, but of the 6 chunks on his plate, only 3 of them had meat. The others were just fat. Overall this experience was really a 3-3.5stars but 3.5 was obviously not an option. Maybe it was an off day? This all said, we will definitely be back to try Casa Vallarta again since our first few experiences have been great!

I have never dined in here, nor visited this place. All the stars are simply for the deliciousness and quantity of food that I ordered in. Camarones chipotle came with ample amount of shrimp cooked in the chipotle sauce, served with mexican rice, beans, 2 tortillas and a side of small salad with guacamole. I enjoyed the shrimp as a soft taco on the toritillas as well as simply with rice. The order also came with a bag of chips and salsa. It was a lot of food but so good that I inhaled all of it!

True to its namesake, there are brightly colored folk art designs throughout the restaurant in line with their Mexican heritage. The trees that make it look overgrown from the outside actually serve to allow sunlight while masking the surrounding city, facilitating the transformation that makes you feel like you're in Mexico City. We came at an off-peak time in the afternoon and it was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. I was pleased to see some unique menu offerings like Birra Ramen and Sopes that deviate from the standard American-friendly fare in most places. Drinks were good - we had a regular house margarita, a triple berry margarita, and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. All were tasty and I would order again. I tried to order a Mezcalita, since it's not often I see a Mezcal option, but they were out of that particular liquor. We tried to get street corn as an appetizer, which they were also out of. We got cheese and salsa with chips instead. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa generous with the cilantro, and the cheese bold and warm. For entrees we had the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Birra Ramen. The quesadilla was good, though the beans on the side were pretty bland. The ramen was a unique and very tasty option, and I was not able to finish such a generous portion. I think I'd leave the cheese out next time since it made some weird textures, but the flavor was great overall. Overall, there are some small things to improve (having menu items in stock, bland beans) and the prices were a bit high, but we had a great experience overall. I'm not often in the area, but I'll certainly eat here again if I am!

The name Bandito Bodega is extremely accurate, as the store itself is a small and unassuming looking place, with a charmingly decorated interior and some indoor and outdoor seating. It was very convenient to order at the cash register as soon as you walk in, and the staff was very patient and efficient. I adored the unpretentiousness and individuality of the place. It did not need any flashiness or grandeur- just some good food and good vibes. Now the food: WOW I was blown away by the pork belly garlic fried rice. The pork belly was so incredibly fatty and perfectly crispy, the shrimp add-on was juicy and well seasoned, and the fried egg over a bed of DELICIOUS steamy garlicky fried rice was absolutely perfection. And they do NOT skimp on the portions. This heaping bowl was just $15, and it was generously topped with the pork belly. It's a food truck located in Petra's parking lot and open hella late, which is a WIN! I ordered 4 Quesa birria tacos, Birria ramen and something that looked like a mini quesadilla, I'm unsure of the name. The ramen was very flavorful although it felt like something was missing compared to Cali but overall very delicious! The only thing I didn't appreciate was the price. The cup was tiny and priced at $11. There wasn't enough room for additional consommé (juice) in the cup. I honestly think the cup could be a little larger for $11 or add more meat. My friend says the Quesa Birrias ($17) were good but they still prefer La Costenita's. Personally I don't like La Costenita's, because the meat and taco shells are extremely dry. But that's why we're all entitled to our opinions and preferences. :) The item that looked like a quesadilla was really tasty and only $7! It reminded me of a taco sandwich lol. The lady that took my order could of been a bit friendlier but I understand most people in NC aren't friendly at all. She insisted I add cheese after repeatedly explaining I do not like cheese and advised to dip my taco sandwich in the ramen but there wasn't enough juice in my ramen cup to even attempt that. Overall the meal was delicious, I've tried many places and this is at the top of my list. I would return when I'm craving something authentic but the pricing needs to be adjusted for what you get. Give it a try and tell me what you think!
