I hired a contractor to build a pedestrian gate for my house, and it turned out so bad that I literally burst into tears when I saw it. I just wanted to tear the whole thing down and replace it (and the contractor) with something else. Also, I needed it done FAST. Not only did the original contractor do a crappy job, he completed it about 10 days after he told me it would be ready. Edwin contacted me within minutes of sending in my inquiry, and an hour or two later he was at my house, surveying the carnage. He gave me an extremely reasonable quote and best of all, he was able to start and finish the work the very next day. These guys are the best! I asked Edwin to come give me a quote for a basic, cedar, dog-ear fence and gate. He came out within 24 hours, was on time, and was super friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. By the time we were done brainstorming, we had an even better quality fence figured out, for not that much more money. He started the job almost immediately and finished within a week. (The only delay was allowing enough time for the concrete to set in the post holes). He custom welded a 9' wide auto gate and installed a locking handle set. We need to replace 2 small gates for the dog yard on the side of our house. The fence they were attached to was crooked so the latch wasn't as secure as we wanted and we wanted them to be taller. Edwin was great in dealing with my fence repair. My fence was leaning over and probably would have tipped over. The part that made it difficult was there was a chainlink fence on the other side with a narrow gab to work with. I didn't want to put posts in front of the fence so he dealt with the property owner about getting access to the narrow gap via the cutting a slit into the chainlink. Edwin proceeded to work within the narrow opening clearing out the old footings, putting in 11 metal brace posts and mending the chainlink back when done. My fence looks great and is upright and straight. Would highly recommend him. read more
