I came for an initial consult and have been following up every month or so. The owner is a very relaxed, calming presence. For the consult he listened to my pulse and checked my skin & tongue. From there he can see what's going on in your body and how to fix & prevent symptoms. The herbal remedies he has provided so far have been beneficial for me. To be honest, I was pretty nervous that he was able to sense my high stress the first time I met him... but once he heard my pulse, he knew what I was going through and was really helpful. The consult itself is no cost, but you purchase the herbal medicines. For me, he recommended capsules since that's what my body would respond best to. For others, he can brew the herbs so you can take in a liquid form - which absorbs faster too. Everyone is different, so what's recommended for me won't be the same for others. Pricing for remedies differs. Depending on what's prescribed, it can go from $5-$60. There is also a language barrier since I don't speak Chinese, but he had the google translate app!
