This is a cute little cafe near the Fenway area. It's a pretty small space with a couple tables and counter seating. Drinks are made very fast, and the menu has a couple unique items! I tried the thai tea- it wasn't too sweet and had a strong tea flavor. Note that there isn't a bathroom. The worker was friendly, and very attentive to customers.

For ambiance and service, I would rate this place higher because, although the cafe is small, it is a very cozy spot to sit and relax. I was surprised to find Hong Kong cafe style milk tea on the menu and wanted to give it a try. The drink had a nice aroma but was lacking in flavor. It was almost like the Hong Kong milk teas I've tried before but muted. A little disappointing but curious to try their other drinks, as their menu is very interesting and diverse compared to most cafes in the area.

Stopped by on the way to Fenway, and got the Vietnamese iced coffees it was delicious! I asked for it half sweet, which I highly recommend. I also thought it was fascinating that the shop featured Asian art creators. Not much AC, but the ambiance is great and I love the light music playing in the background.

This was one of the best coffee experiences of my life. I asked the barista what he would recommended as something "different, not too sweet, and coffee based." He suggested the Dalgona, which he explained as frothed espresso with caramel notes and milk of choice poured on top. It was so complex and interesting and I enjoyed it more the more I drank it. I wish I lived in the area so that I could try everything on the menu because I have a feeling there are some really special drinks here. Just wow, you must go!

It's a tea shop, it's a cool hangout place, it's a pop-up art exhibit space with rotating artists, it's the Sipping Room by Breeze! They opened during the pandemic and I'm glad to see they're still open and going strong. We went in for the first time to check it out a few days back. The guy at the counter was very friendly and explained all the teas on the menu. I got the Hong Kong tea and the hubs got the matcha tea both cold. I wanted boba but they were out. Teas were good. There were a few people in the shop hanging out and it seems that there's always a decent crowd in there when we pass by. There was cool sketch artwork on the wall below the counter and also on the side wall. It seems they have different artists showcase their work on a rotating basis. Today walking by we saw a sign outside what looks like they're showing another artist for the next few days. Will have to go check that out!

I came here on Sunday afternooon, and it was packed with students. I think this is a regular cafe spot for students who want to concentrate on working, because the store is very quite and chill. It like a mini art museum inside. The coffee selection is small, but packaged with signature coffees drinks. I got a hot matcha latte, so good! Perfect amount of matcha powder, not too bitter. However, definitely on a pricey size. I will definitely go back in the future, because of the vibes there!

This place is really expensive... I understand drinks/coffee in Boston are generally expensive but paying $7.42 for this tiny Matcha was not worth it. The cup size was small, it was mainly ice and it was very fine (average).... I don't think I'd come back. The store itself is cute, very artsy as you can see, good place for studying/meeting up with friends.

Hong Kong milk tea left, Milo dinosaur right

Both the Milo dinosaur and Hong Kong milk tea were $6 for eight ounces. We were served quickly and there is little seating available. Cute minimalist decor but for the size of the drinks, I thought they were both underwhelming for the price. Hong Kong milk tea has a stronger tea taste, and the Milo dinosaur does taste like hot chocolate as one would expect. Not bad, but personally not for me!

this is a must visit for coffee while in fenway! the sipping room is unique that it also doubles as a gallery showcasing local asian artists! their dalgona coffee is a must try, but you also can't go wrong with their vietnamese ice coffee(:

It was so nice to return to this tea shop. You really feel how much the owner cares about every single customer and drink he serves. None of the drinks are over sweetened unless you ask them to be. The attention to detail like the little flowers he added to each drink adds a personal touch that doesn't go unappreciated. Everyone can find something they love here or want to try! Please show this incredible owner and his tea shop all the love

Best iced coffee I had during my stay in east coast. Perfect amount of sweetness. Drink was well balanced with all mixture of flavors. The store is small with limited spots. It looks more like a coffee stall. A little out of the way to drive to plus parking is not the easiest around the area, but it wouldn't stop me getting this good cup of iced coffee.

Super cute coffee shop with a nice selection of drinks! I got the Hong Kong milk tea and sat here to study for an afternoon. The drink was pretty small (I think it was in an 8oz cup) and cost $5, which felt pretty pricey. It was very strong--think it gave me caffeine jitters LOL. The cafe has a cute vibe, with lots of art on the walls and even in the bathroom. There's limited seating, but I never saw the store fill up while I was there (Saturday afternoon). Good WiFi and outlet placement too! Seats were a bit uncomfy for long-period seating (mainly stools)

I went with two scoops, black raspberry and brownie chocolate, and the brownie was killer. Rich, chocolatey, and totally worth standing outside in 30 degree weather to eat it. I said, "Yes please, I'd like M&Ms." The server, and another person working behind the counter, both told me that they just ran out of M&Ms. They didn't have any more. This was weird to me. As I was walking to the the shop, I passed a person who had a small cup of ice cream with both m&m's and oreo topping. Okay, I thought. That's weird but so be it. Then, I scootch over to look at the rest of the toppings and what do I see? M&Ms. I point out the M&M's to the employee and ask, "hey, aren't those M&M's?" They mumbled something back that I didn't exactly catch. They either said "those are closed" or "those are skittles" or "it's not those". "those are closed" makes no sense because they asked if I wanted toppings and it was 2 and a half hours before they closed. "those are skittles" makes no sense because they don't carry skittles as a topping... The whole experience was perplexing to me. Anyways, JP Licks is pretty overrated and too expensive. $6.5+ for the smallest size is not worth it. They have some decent flavors (cookies n' cake batter) though and the ice cream is usually pretty well executed and not icy. still, not really a place i'd recommend and won't be going back for a while after this freak incident. Attached photos are the proof that they had M&Ms. Note the "M" on the candy and the blue colored candies (they don't make blue skittles)

We walked into a building with the kind of architectural character that chain bookstores cannot manufacture, with small rooms opening into each other across multiple floors, wallpapered walls, and reading nooks distributed throughout that invite you to slow down rather than move through quickly. The book selection is well curated with staff recommendation cards on the shelves that actually reflect genuine enthusiasm rather than perfunctory notes. We saw limited edition hardcovers and local and regional titles appearing alongside the broader fiction and nonfiction selection. Browsing felt productive rather than overwhelming because the curation kept things focused. The kids section upstairs is one of the more delightful in Boston, with a train running along a track near the ceiling that tends to make a strong impression on younger visitors. There is also an art print vending machine on the second floor that draws its own audience of visitors looking for something small and specific to take home. The cafe occupies the lower level and operates as a separate experience from the bookshop above. We ordered the oat milk cappuccino with Vermont maple syrup, which was worth it. The morning glory scone and the popovers are two other items to consider. The cafe is tiny, around eight tables inside with a small patio, and reservations are recommended for breakfast and afternoon tea service. Pricing at the cafe is on the higher end, and certain fixed price service formats on specific dates push it considerably further, so checking current pricing before booking is worth doing. For a bookshop that doubles as a destination in its own right, Beacon Hill Books and Cafe delivers a cozy, curated experience that rewards lingering. It is the kind of place we would return to just to sit and read with a good coffee.
