My experience with Solve started last year with a consultation on a hair transplant procedure. The staff's expertise was so helpful, and their pricing is extremely competitive. I decided to move forward, and couldn't be happier with my results. The procedure went smoothly, and my recovery was painless. They gave step-by-step post-op care instructions that were easy to follow, and called several times to check in on me during the first week as well! After my initial procedure, I decided to also start PRP treatments to continue to promote strong hair growth - big shoutout to Jane at the River North location who has made those appointments so easy and actually enjoyable. Update: The owner reached out after my initial review to apologize and clarify that there had been a misunderstanding regarding the scope of services. It turns out the specific treatment I was scheduled for isn't something the assigned provider(s) offer, despite it being previously recommended and done during my past visits. They did refund me for the portion of past services and have offered to connect me with other providers who are better equipped to handle what I'm looking for, which I appreciate. Glad there was some follow-up and a path forward, even if it took a bit of sorting out to get there. I've been going to this clinic for about a year and honestly, up until now, I had a really good experience. The staff has always been great and my treatments have worked well, which is why this whole situation is so frustrating and disappointing. About a week and a half ago, I had to reschedule an appointment and gave them about 9 hours notice. I get that there's a policy, but not letting me apply my $50 deposit toward a rescheduled appointment felt pretty unreasonable, especially considering I've been a consistent, paying client for multiple services. After pushing back, they said they'd make a one-time exception. Then I show up for my rescheduled appointment, and I'm not even booked with my usual provider. That completely threw things off because part of my treatment requires someone more specialized, so they couldn't even finish everything I came in for. On top of that, their pricing changes depending on how services are done -- if it's combined, it's priced one way, but if it's separate, it's a flat $150. So now I'm stuck trying to figure out if I'm about to be charged way more because of their scheduling mistake. At that point, they told me to come back the next day to finish the specialized part, which I agreed to. Then, out of nowhere later that same day, I get a call saying they don't want to work with me anymore as a client. No real explanation, just done. Honestly, the whole thing feels really off. It's hard not to feel like this situation was handled the way it was because of their own mistake and not wanting to lose out on additional revenue from that separate $150 service. Instead of fixing it, they just cut me off. This has been my only issue with them, but it completely changed my perception. This is the 3rd medpsa that I've followed Kiran to and hands down my favorite! First of all, Kiran is one of the best estheticians in the city of Chicago. I've tried others and her facials, laser and microneedling treatments are unmatched. She manages to customize treatments in a way nobody else can and she goes above and beyond to treat the source of whatever you're trying to improve. For me that was acne. Nobody ever cared enough or put in the work that Kiran did to get rid of my acne. She's not transactional at all and she's basically a skincare scientist/guru. I should gatekeep her but for any other girls struggling with acne, if you put in the time with the right treatments you will see incredible results.
