I've been going here for years. A bit on the pricey side for bras, but staff is very helpful. Always able to measure you, give you multiple bras that should fit, as well as comment on the styles you try on. I've had similar positive experiences at multiple Soma locations. I have tried other places and I tend to have issues usually with the metal wire poking me. Sadly I have had some of their bras for way longer than I should have. Still I keep coming back. Especially after I tried to go cheap with some bras with another retailer online. I regretted that experiment. They also specialize in having a wide variety of sizes. If they do not have your size/color in stock they will ship it to you for free. I highly recommend this place if you are willing to pay $50+ for a bra. read more

This place is amazing!! I needed new bras, I've been wearing sports bras for a while and needed some "grown up" bras. My mom is a huge fan of soma and took me there since she knows that their items are very well made and are great quality. The bras are amazing!! They are super soft and light weight and feel great. They are made to fit any body and chest size. They have tons of designs to pick from. The customer service is top notch!! When my mom and I walked in, I wasn't even sure what size I am. The two girls working where very helpful. One girl took me in back and measured me. Then she and another girl worked as a team and started out by bringing me the types of bras I thought I wanted. Ones without any wires. After I tired on a bunch of different ones, I tried some with wires, and I was pleasantly surprised that the wires felt good. They didn't hurt or pinch like other bras I've had in the past. The girl who worked the most with me was so kind and helpful. She listened to what I liked and didn't like about each bra I tried on and made great suggestions for what to try on next. She showed me why certain bras fit me better then others and I'm pretty sure I tried on every bra design in the store! She must have brought over about 15 bras for me to try!! She also never once pushed my mom and I to buy anything or try to up sell us. She was genuinely trying to help and made me feel super comfortable talking about what I needed. She even told us what bras are on sale to help us save money. My mom ended up getting me 3 bras, and they feel amazing!!! I feel comfortable and supported and even though these are not cheep bras, they are worth every single penny!!! I am now a life time customer!! You know what I immediately loved? They sell bras and underthings..that's it! Not walls and shelves of lotions, perfume and sprays that leave one smelling like a stripper named Bambi. Bras, undies, etc. And they are bras and undies for WOMEN! I don't have to try to find well-fitted yet sexy items amidst a bunch of Love Pink junk that cannot possibly fit anyone over the age of 12. I am a big fan of Soma Intimates! I have only been coming here for the past few years and used to shop the big department stores for my lingerie, but really this store has the most comfortable and well supported bras plus they carry beautiful comfortable dresses as well! I love their sales and today they had a sale and a promotion and I got 3 separate discounts so a bra that I normally would pay $42, I got for $23.82 plus tax. The sales staff is very friendly and not too pushy and most helpful in fitting you for that perfect bra. You must come here and check it out! read more

Had a great experience being fitted for bras- I felt like they really got my size correct and had a nice selection to choose from... but they the bras haven't seemed to hold up - after a few months they have totally "stretched" out and don't fit in the cup, I know good bras cost, but when spending $50 plus on a bra (x3) I really need it to hold up. I will say their panties (without lace! The lace ripped right right away) had held up amazingly!!! Had them for 2 years and in amazing shape, just ordered 10 more at their last sale cuz their totally worth the $$$ read more

I have gone around and around with soma over one particular style bra. I have had a hard time being fitted properly for a new design of my old staple. It wasn't working and I bought 5 or 6 different versions/sizes. Everyone had a different opinion.i went into this store just at my wits end! Enter Colleen... such a patient, kind person. She was so good, addressing my every concern and complaint. She suggested that perhaps that was no longer the right bra for me... AHA light bulb moment. After nearly 2 hours I left one happy, satisfied customer! She is a treasure and I hope soma does what it takes to keep her around! read more

I'm so torn between the customer service and the bras at this store - while Soma bras are great, I had an absolutely awful experience here. The woman fitting me and giving me bras was extremely rude. The first thing she said to me, after I asked to be fitted, was "Yeah, you're not getting any lift from those [referring to my current bralette]." *disapproving look* She only measured my band size, not the cup, and then asked me what size I usually wear. Of course, the whole point is that I haven't been fitted in a while, so I had no idea. I guessed C, which ended up being too small. When I pointed out how much spillage there was, she told me I had put it on incorrectly... but then brought me a bigger size (???). Later, I told her the straps felt too tight so she begrudgingly loosened them, while telling me that straps are what give the bras lift. I'm almost certain this is false, and that the band is supposed to carry most of the weight, but by this point I was so tired of her that I really did not want to argue. This was just one of many times she chastised me for putting a bra on incorrectly, complaining that the straps or band was uncomfortable, or saying I didn't like a certain style. Some of these things were valid, but she had an extremely negative tone when saying all of them. Throughout the whole time I was trying on bras, she would come into the dressing room to judge how they looked. She was very snippy and didn't ever ask whether I found them comfortable. Although I did find bras that I liked, I left feeling extremely drained from dealing with her. I had to tell her I was fine and didn't need help at least 3 times, but she kept coming back to judge me. TL;DR Go to this store for the bras, but avoid a grumpy older woman. read more

I am a first time customer and will back for more. Nicole helped me and could not have nicer or more accommodating. The bras fit well and are not too expensive. My only complaint is that they do not have enough help. Nicole and the other sales woman had to juggle too many customers at one time.They both did a great job but I had to wait in the fitting room for minutes on end for other sizes. I came to this store to return two bras that I ordered online. I was expecting the worst because my previous experience with Chicos, a related company to Soma, was awful. Samantha was the saleswoman who helped me and I have to say that she was wonderful. Very knowledgable. When I commented on her expertise, she replied, "Soma gives us very good training." I think it says a lot when employees speak positively about the company. Samantha explained why one of the items could only be exchanged, not returned, and I understood this. She then helped me choose a replacement bra. Her knowledge was fantastic. She patiently explained what my size is and how a bra should fit and should be worn. Who knew?! She was NOT pushy, an experience that I've had at WHBM, also related to Soma. She didn't oversell me at all. Soma is my new go-to place for lingerie. read more

I felt absolutely uncomfortable, and insulted at the Soma in Old Orchard. Unbelievable, how the sales women spoke to me in a condescending manner, and how she just popped into the fitting room when I was completely exposed. When she gave me a bra that was too small and I said" I didn't like it "she said, "you don't know if you like it, it doesn't fit." When I said that a "bra pinched me and was actually painful," she said that "I shouldn't have taken it off so she could see how it fit." When I said that the fourth bra I tried on "showed and unflattering bulge in my back," she said "don't look at that we are fitting you for a bra."Then she said "I have nothing for you." When I was getting dressed, she suddenly suggested that I try lace bras, even though I had told her I don't like them. I said "I'm done" It was my first and last time at Soma. I will tell all my friends not to go. Their was nothing special about those bras, or the service. Just overpriced, and the measurement didn't help at all. I can go to any store and try on tons of bras and eventually find the right one, why pay 70.00 for it? read more
