It helps eliminate any fitting room clutter. Two attendants at the registers w little to no wait. My youngest is for some unknown reason Ohio State's biggest fan and there's plenty of Ohio State love here, although he was bummed there wasn't a kids jersey or lanyard on our visit last weekend. He did get excited about a new Ohio State t-shirt (probably his 40th one) and a pack of college football cards. They do have a great selection of cards too. I find that they don't go out of their way to help you here, but if you ask questions on where things are they are helpful.

This place is huge and they have a massive inventory of all things sports related. It's nice that you can still walk into a place and touch and feel the merchandise you might be interested in. On this visit, it was to look for a youth softball mitt that I will be gifting to one of the grand-darlings. The last time I was in a DICK's, it was to buy a White Sox cap and it was a couple years back when they were doing a wee bit better than they are this year! The pricing here does generally seem a bit elevated but that comes with the brick-and mortar business and the privilege of inspecting what you're buying. Who remembers Sportsmart, or Sports Authority, or further back Herman's? They're all gone now, and I think DICK's is it these days for sporting goods. I'm glad they are still at it for us.

Alex was the person that helped me with my orthotic shoe inserts which to be quite honest an easy breezy technique. First you chose the type of insoles you wanted depending on arch and cushion support then Alex slipped the pair into a machine to heat them up for 3 minutes then the insoles were transferred to a machine where you had to step on top of them for a minute with your weight! The results were your new custom impressions on your insoles!!! Stop in and have yours made for any shoe. Your joints will thank you!!

We started with one salesman who needed to leave and then turned over to another, so since we were first online and had to wait because there were 6 people and only 2 salesmen. One salesman spent time with a young girl and sat with her for a while while we were handed boxes. The service was awful, and I noticed two people left because they had no assistance. We have purchased from here numerous times and would have left if I didn't have my cash points. We will no longer shop at this store. Service is now here--try it on and put the shoes you don't want nicely back in the box. Add but pay $$. You really need to bring your customer service back.

This is one of the smaller Dick's (pun not intended duh) as it is atypically housed in a 1 story…read morestrip mall building.  The store is still deceptively huge and I learned it's still sizable at about 60,000 ft2 (a dimension which I can't really relate to anyway).  They still seemed to have everything you might expect though the wife thought maybe their clothing inventory wasn't as extensive as at a bigger store.  The staffers were helpful.  This store is out of the way for us but we came up here as one of the kiddos is a participant in the Northbrook Girls Softball Association and they offered a limited time 20% off promotion applicable only to this store. They had a good supply of youth size cleats, one of the items on our shopping list, and the girls also took the opportunity to do a mini shopping spree on some of their clothing and swim wear.  Thumbs up on the store and thank you!

They fit great in the store, but after walking in them all day, they hurt my feet and I had to bring them back. When I went into the store to return them or to exchange them, they could not have been nicer. It was a newer shoe that they just started carrying and they wanted to know my opinion of them i told him it was a great shoe. It just did not fit me well for a long day on my feet. They called someone in the shoe department to help me. He found a fabulous pair of Brooks that fit me perfectly. I have not been wearing them all day and my feet feel so much better. I was a little concerned about exchanging the pair my mom had bought me because I did not have her credit card with me, but there was absolutely no problem. The shoes I bought were $16 cheaper than what my mom had spent, and it automatically got credited back to her credit card. Best experience I've had buying shoes in a long, long time. Such a great experience at Fleet Feet this week!…read more I started running a few months ago and was wearing some older shoes that were well-worn and also the wrong size. Because I've stuck with running - and because I have a history of plantar fasciitis (repaired with two surgeries) - I decided to treat myself to a shoe fitting and new pair of running shoes. Al, who helped me on my visit, could not have been nicer or friendlier. He asked me a few questions about my running, what shoes I'm currently wearing or have previously worn, and then he did the foot scan. After reviewing it with me, he brought up four different running shoes for me to try on - Hoka, Asic, New Balance and Brooks. He was well-versed in the differences between each and was helpful in parsing through what I liked (or didn't) in each pair. After I selected the winner, he checked inventory for my preferred colorway. They didn't have it in stock but assured me it would be delivered on Monday from another location. He recommended a pair of socks, too, and made the checkout process super quick. On Monday afternoon, I called the store to see if the shoes were in (a little eager to go on a run). Jane was kind enough to check to see if they were there and let me know they were. I went for a run after picking them up, and am super happy with my selection. The amount of cushion is perfect for me, and I could feel a difference in my pace. My heels didn't hurt at all when I finished, which is a huge win for me and my bionic foot! I'll definitely be back for future running shoe needs. This was a great experience, and I'm so glad I stopped in!

Instead , he asked me for more money to pay for the sweatshirt and I refused to do that because it's a scam ! They just want your money but do not send anything to you or pretend they did by sending you fake package . I am going to file a legal complain with local and federal authorities. I want my stuff back or the money.
