After that she became a part of the Competitive Company team and was a part of the Mini Hip Hop team for 2 years with Ms Jen. Over the past few years she has grown so much and has started other styles of dance including Jazz and Lyrical. She loves all her teachers and has fallen more in love with dance. We visited Premier Dance and met the owners Mr. David and Mrs. Renee. Right away they took my daughter under their wing and created classes for her to start dancing again. They are a breath of fresh air and extremely talented duo. My daughter is now taking classes 3 days a week and we love all of the different teachers and genres they have to offer. My daughter was a part of another much larger program in Long Beach for 4 years prior to coming to this ballet school in Los Alamitos. After last season she did not want to return to ballet. She wanted to quit. We truly honor our kids wishes and so I was ready to let it go but then I did some research and found LABS. So far my daughter LOVES it. If you truly do not love the art I believe that you are never going to push yourself to your potential. Renee teaches my daughter and she is so kind, thoughtful and most importantly invested in my daughter being the best version of herself. She takes the time to correct her without making her feel bad about herself. She respects where she is at. To have a studio like this is Los Al is very rare - their values align with ours and to have a role model that my daughter can identify is worth its weight in gold. I am excited that my daughter is finding joy in ballet again and I hope that she continues for years. Our experience at our old institution was so impersonal and often times rooted in fear of not following rules or asking for flexibility. To come here is so refreshing but more so what the world needs more of - a place to feel like you belong. Thank you Renee for allowing my child to be a child and bringing the joy of dance back to her life. Everyone here is so sweet and patient with the children, but they also care about proper ballet technique and training. I'm so glad to have found this school for her. After bringing her here, I found they also have lots of classes for adults as well! I have been taking the beginning / intermediate drop in ballet classes and they are fabulous. I danced when I was younger but there are also students who are starting out as adults. The classes are challenging and the teachers are so supportive and kind, while offering helpful corrections. I honestly couldn't recommend this studio more, they are legit!

My first class was soundtracked with nominated and winning songs from the 2013 Grammys. The studio looks like a new and well-kept studio with the rack of weights, tubes, workout mats, and stability balls. It's basically a dance party with props and I like the community feel. I'm looking forward to more classes and getting to know the regulars.

Pilates 7 was a big part in helping me with my body, mind and soul transformation. I have lost 60 pounds since then and keeping it off. I found this Pilates home to be helpful, non judgmental, encouraging and kind along the way. I put in the work but kept coming back because I knew it was helping me. I have rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions so I knew I had to be careful. All staff was always careful with making sure I was doing what was best for my body but yet pushing me to become better in the best way possible.
