Misery. Took the bra back to the store. The same two grumpy looking ladies were sitting up front. They looked at the receipt and then had the same woman who mismeasured me, measure me again. Of course she told me how many years she had been doing this and surprise, she came up with the same measurement. I told her again, it obviously did not fit if a new bra is on the tightest hook and still rides up. They had the bra band altered but of course now the cup is not right. What a $90 disaster. I came in to see a dress from the window display. I was told that I could try on & was verbally told where the dressing room was by one of the associates but nobody showed me to a room. I came in with my toddler and was pushing him in a stroller. It was VERY hard for me to get into the fitting room considering it is sectioned off with curtains and I was pushing a stroller. If the associate had helped me into the fitting room by opening the curtains and bringing me into the room as you would expect from a high end retailer, I wouldn't have had to struggle as much. I would've really appreciated the help and it was obvious I was struggling as the stroller wheels were catching the curtains. The dress I looked at was $898. You'd think that they'd want to offer me top level customer service in hopes that I'd take the dress home. It was clearly a slow day if they were all seated on their phones chatting. The fit of the dress wasn't as I'd hoped and for that price, I want to LOVE it. Especially considering I only wished to wear it once to a particular event I have approaching. The associates didn't even bother to help me by asking what I was shopping for or if I had any of occasions coming up. Once I let them know I wouldn't be interested in buying the first & only dress I'd tried on, they became cold and disinterested in speaking with me. So disappointing, I would've been happy to spend on something I loved if they would've helped me to find it. Displeased with their service & their palpable disinterest, I left. Customer service goes a long way and these ladies did nothing to create an elevated customer experience for their customer. Very disappointing. The district or regional managers should enforce mandatory training for this staff as they clearly don't value customer service or are just unaware of how to provide and positive high-end customer experiences for their guests. On the bright side, the staff was beautiful and very well put together along with the store and its displays.

She then asked if I had more time, gave me an accurate estimate of the time it would take, and was EXTREMELY prompt in her service. She brought me about 8 bras of different types in my newly measured size for me to try on. I selected my favorites from that group and she gave me a card indicating my measured size and my favorite styles. Kendra then showed me my favorites on the floor, and allowed me space to make my decisions on purchasing. Both associates also made me aware (without being pushy) that there was a sale going on that included one of the two bras I had selected. I shopped at Kohl's last week and tried to size myself for bras; it didn't work! I thought bras were SUPPOSED to be uncomfortable and I'd resent wearing them forever. Even though I had favorites from the selection at VS, ALL of the bras I tried on in my size were extremely comfortable. They all fit like a dream, and some were cheaper than the ones from Kohl's. I can't wait to return the bras I bought the other day and take my money and purchase the lovely ones I tried on at VS today. I don't have to hate wearing "normal" bras anymore! The quality of the products seemed really nice. I had a few VS bras from years ago and they lasted about 1.5 years until they got too loose to wear. Staff is usually very nice at the store in Towson. My only complaint is when it's nearing closing time that they damn near scream into the P.A. system every few minutes that "THE TIME IS NOW 9:20, AND WE WILL BE CLOSING IN 10 MINUTES, PLEASE TAKE YOUR SELECTIONS TO OUR CASHIERS TO FINALIZE YOUR PURCHASE !" All that wouldn't be too bad except they start make these too strong announcements at 9:00 and then another every 5 minutes. That one thing really ruins the experience.
