super yummy and large portioned raspberry shakes. thick and lots of raspberries. we didn't try their burgers but they have lots of options for food too. the staff was friendly and my shake came out within a few minutes of ordering.

For starters the cute girl taking orders at the window was super helpful! I was having trouble picking just 1 flavor from all the delicious options for their shakes. She recommended the huckleberry and it was sooo yummy! We also ordered corn dogs, tater tots and onion rings - all delicious. Update - we liked it sooo much that we came back this afternoon for round 2 of shakes before we headed out of town.

Amazing food - I got the mushroom and pastrami - (thought it was a Reuben before)and I'll forever get the same thing. If you get a shake make sure it's a large one!(they only have "regular" but make sure it's not a small...I Highly recommend this place- we will be coming here every summer as long as we are stationed at Hill! Only downside are the prices- it gets pricey when you have a large family like ours! I'd love to see some family deals!

La Beau's is a classic. I've been coming here since I was a girl and will always stop by during their open season for their Raspberry Shakes! They are the best and a winner every time!

I've been going here every summer I've been at Bear Lake, which is most of my life. There is much more competition over the last few years (cough cough Zips). And I have to say, their shakes cannot be beat. Raspberry, obviously, peanut butter Oreo, yep, burnt almond fudge w mini marshmallows, life changing. Add some tater tots and the turkey avocado on sour dough and you're in for a treat. The service is fine, the outdoor seating could use a lift but mostly the tradition of going to LaBeaus outweighed any of the cons.

The tater tots are still my absolute favorite here, but the chicken club wasn't quite as good. They definitely use a different type of chicken patty than they used to. It was still good, just not amazing like it used to be. The peanut butter cup shake was still delicious as always! It's my favorite! I'll definitely be back for more tots and I'll probably try a different sandwich or burger.

It was so yummy. We had chicken nuggets, onion rings and a la beau's burger. We enjoyed everything. It was not very busy, thank God. So, no waiting for ever to give our order or get our food. Casual ambiance.

Going to Bear lake? Get a raspberry shake at LaBeau's! That's what we heard from multiple people. So we did. First off, if you are contemplating going to bear Lake- go! Super cute lake town with little hops and restaurants. Cute lodging places and the lake is stunning! Second, LaBeau's is alright. I did get the raspberry shake. It was ok. It did not shatter my world. But I can share the girl at LaBeau's was super friendly. wanted to know about our accents and we talked for a few minutes about Broadway plays! Overall the people in general here are very nice. So nice my daughter asked why did they say hi to us? My response, it's a nice place. People are on vacation or just enjoying the lake town. Say hi back! If you find a hucklebnerry shake in the area- try that! I had one close by in Montana and I want more!

The shakes were delicious. Onion rings were great. Burgers were average at best. Lines were incredibly long, overhyped, and overpriced. Fun to do once and never again sort of deal. "When in Bear Lake" sort of deal.

Over the last couple of years I've heard countless positive comments about this place, and a few days ago I finally got the chance to partake. The view of Bear Lake, seeing small lakeside shops and locals out strolling only accentuated the feel of this place as a good and well loved feature of Garden City. Old school method of cooking food, in a dinky little diner-type building; the sign and building itself don't stand out much so it's very easy to drive past it and not give it a second glance. The service was excellent. The crew was younger, as in teens and young adults manning the helm, and they were nothing short of professional and extremely friendly. I genuinely didn't mind the wait for my food because the staff seemed to love what they were doing. The shakes were highly recommended, and advertised as a staple item, so of course I had to order one. I got their signature raspberry flavor, and it certainly did not disappoint! Actual bits of raspberry mixed in, whipped and smooth texture... my boyfriend and I had a hard time sharing it with each other! I ordered a grilled cheese with a side of fries, and my boyfriend ordered the cordon bleu sandwich. The grilled cheese was immaculate. Old school buttered bread, fried on both sides to earn that signature crisp crunch and slight char, where the cheese just pulls apart and melts in your mouth... Divine. I could have ordered 30 and gone home satisfied. The fries were very good, although I do feel the serving size was a bit small for the price they asked. But despite my raving sentiments, I did dock the restaurant a star because of the cordon bleu sandwich. My boyfriend orders it every time he's able to be in the area, but apparently over the years they changed from an actual chicken breast to a breaded chicken patty. Disappointing, to say the least. It was good aside, but the taste would have excelled if they subbed the patty for an actual breast of chicken. I urge LaBeau's to consider moving back to actual chicken versus the patty. In the grand scheme, I will very much be returning each chance I get. It's proved to be a highlight of a Bear Lake getaway. *Restrooms are at the very back of the building. *If you order a shake, they will complete that first before the rest of your order. *There is only outdoor seating. So be warned if you happen to be a patron during questionable weather.

Guys, this is a standard fast food shake you can get anywhere . I don't understand the hype. I also got a burger and the meat tasted like a preformed frozen patty with no flavor. I'm glad we got there when the line was short so we didn't waste a bunch of time too! Probably best to just stick to your favorite shake place in your hometown.

After hearing countless recommendations to try the milkshakes in Garden City, (raspberry flavored ones specifically), we had a feeling the shakes here would be amazing. We figured the food would be average at best, but were pleasantly surprised at how good both the shakes and the food ended up being! We originally planned on ordering from the original La Beau's, but the line was insane, so we walked across to La Beau's Too, which had little to no wait. The famous raspberry shake everyone raves about truly is worthy of the hype. Even if you aren't a huge fruity milkshake fan like myself, you'd still definitely enjoy it. The raspberry shake has a lighter hint of the raspberry flavor mixed in with all the creaminess of a milkshake - absolutely delicious. My hot fudge brownie milkshake was off the charts. Plenty of hot fudge and every bite had brownie bits in it. My husband and I agreed that for a fast food place, the food is definitely higher quality than what you'd normally expect. The burgers were tasty and both the onion rings and tater tots were crisped to perfection. We both agreed that this is probably the highest quality you can get for fast food. Don't come here expecting a 5 star unbelievably mind-blowing meal, but don't set your expectations too low either! We tried a couple of local places around Garden City, and La Beau's is surprisingly up near the top of our list! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.

Fun spot to grab a shake after a fun day at the lake. According to friends, this is the best place for shakes. Didn't venture out to try other venues, but may try that next time. They also had some good burgers and fries too. Service was friendly.

I had a few special requests due to me sharing my burger with my dog and they did not disappoint. The shake was really good. Blended well. I had raspberry and Oreo cookie. It would've been nice to taste a little more raspberry in the shake. They pride themselves on using fresh raspberries and that is the reason. Fresh fruit mixed with dairy tampons the tartness and dulls a lot of the sweetness.. I believe macerating some raspberries and sugar and finishing with some fresh lemon zest or even a little lemon juice and adding that to the fresh raspberries would knock it out of the park. I put it on the floorboard so my dog wouldn't get at it and accidentally knocked it over. It was so thick that only the huge amount that sticks out of the cup touched the floor mat. Awesome!!!!!!! I got the biggest burger they had. A half pound with two kinds of cheese and pastrami burger. It wasn't called a pastrami burger so I'm not gonna complain that it's just one thick slice. It was more like how you would add bacon to a burger. All the veggies were super fresh. Their choice of bun is the best bun I've had since my road trip began a week ago. Here's my opinion on the burger. The burger had no beef flavor. The only flavor came from the wonderful charcoal grill marks on the burger. Don't be afraid of salt. It's a chef's favorite condiment. The biggest complaint and my only true complaint is that the burgers have a horrible texture to them. Like two quarter pounds of beef breakfast sausage. Not good. If somehow it is how ground I'd recommend using a smaller die and leaving out the transglutaminase. Dog loved it. Would I come again? I sure would. Mos Def
