Italian Wedding, the Homemade Soup of the Day
    Penny F.

I was in the area and decided to grab lunch at a place I'd never tried before. Being a foodie, I love trying new out-of-the-way places. Towne Square Restaurant proved to be a great spot! Located downtown, it looks surprisingly small when you first walk in. After being pleasantly created by Kendra, I checked out the menu and order the Hot Meatloaf Dinner and a cup of their Italian Wedding Soup. The portions were perfect and everything was tasty. I purposely didn't read the reviews because I wanted to decide myself. I overheard some other customers saying the food was good and the service was great. They were absolutely right. This place should be in your to-try list.

Beaver is such an awesome community; many places are like walking back into the 60s. It's wild. We ordered basic breakfast. Service was good. If you want fancy, this is not the place but it's a really solid spot with really great people.

A real treasure to find honest prices in this day and age

What a treasure! Just what I was looking for... a down home, home cooked American fare with good food, fair prices and great service. This is NOT a $15 burger place with artisan bread and kale soup. This is a place to get " stick to your ribs" home style American fare like fresh soups, grilled sandwiches, a good cup of coffee and all served by a pleasant wait person. I had the clam chowder and the patty melt which was served with chips and a pickle. Chowder was excellent, patty melt was very tasty. It's also nice to see honest fair prices for a change. Generous cup of chowder for $2.59, refillable brewed iced tea only $1.99 and the sandwich with chips $4.25. Server was very friendly and quick. I just wish there were more places like this.

Have you ever felt like you were eating on the inside of a Norman Rockwell painting... Well at the Towne Square you will feel like you stepped back into 1950. Beaver is a very upscale city with lot's of new upscale eateries, but Towne Square keeps it traditional. Really good food in a Family atmosphere with amazingly low prices. There are daily specials on a board when you walk in. The fare is American classics and they do all of them very well. Breakfast is rock solid with all the classics you would expect and the lunch and dinner menu has some very hearty and delicious choices as well. Overall the food is really good, service can be a tad slow at times but I use this extra time to sit and reflect back on a simpler America. Prices are incredibly good especially if you have a lot of mouths to feed, and everyone is so friendly. It's good to know places like this exist in our fast and ever changing world, Aloha

Excellent food selection. Home made flavor. Service is always exceptional. True diner ambiance experience.

Average food experience all around. Menu is average American diner fare. I got the chicken salad with fries on top. It was ok; nothing special about it, just ok. Hubby got the meatloaf dinner. A bite of it was ok, too. Service was good and staff was friendly. Note: Their pies looked good; but they were out this particular night because of a large party in the back of the restaurant. Sad face.

Nothing fancy but really good service and good reasonable food. Their pie, however, is exceptional. You should go, you won't regret it.

Hubby had Walleye which was served with the skin on, and that made it fishy tasting. We both had green beans, which were REALLY over cooked. And in hinesight might have been left over from the day before! The reason I say this is we were there for a 5:30 reservation and there were hardly any other guests then. So I don't know why they wouldn't have had nice, fresh, crisp green beans at that hour. The price was a little high, but we weren't surprised at that. We have been there many times over the years as the restaurant has been in business for a long time, and the decor shows that. It could use some updating. All in all it was an okay experience. Not sure we will ever go back.

Fast and attentive service. The side salad is huge and always fresh. The ranch might be homemade (I really should ask) - it's so good! I highly recommend the buffalo chicken tenders. They are always crispy and well-seasoned. I usually throw a couple on my side salad and it's delicious! And don't pass on dessert - the milkshakes and pies are always a good option.

Since…read moremoving to Beaver county 4 months ago I have been surrounded by pizza joints and bar & grilles serving pub grub, pizza and wings, and that's fine, but sometimes you just want good home cooked style meals and i finally found it here at the Grand Valley Inn. I have driven by a few dozen times now and have always noticed a very full parking lot whenever they were open. Now I know why. My family and I stopped for dinner and quickly settled into a booth among lots of locals filling up the dining room next to the bar. The place was busy and most all tables were full, even the side dining room that seemed to be hosting some sort of game night as well. after a few short minutes we ordered and then were blessed with a basket of the world's best and freshest dinner rolls. To say they were pillow soft would do them an injustice. I also ordered the spinach artichoke dip with fry bread chips as well as deep fried mozzarella sticks for my son. The dip was fantastic and the frybread was the perfect vehicle to get it from the bowl to my mouth. Mozzarella sticks were just o.k, nothing special but a solid appetizer. My wife ordered the chicken picatta which she loved and I went with the weekly special of Danish baby back bbq ribs with waffle cut sweet potato fries. The ribs were amazing, so tender and yes fall off the bone delicious. The fries were perfect as well. Overall the service was good even with a very busy dining room. The food was very good, everything was home cooked from scratch and the prices were very good for what you got, especially the daily special prices, Aloha
