My wedding day wouldn't have been a success without their help! A while back, my friend told me that she used One Plus One Wedding Services (OPOWS) for her wedding in 2019. She had good things to say about them. My SIL's friend also used OPOWS, so I figured that if a few of my mutual connections have used this vendor, then I should work with them as well. Since I didn't have a wedding planner, going with a one-stop shop wedding services package was definitely a big help. It made my wedding execution seamless! I reached out to OPOWs about a year before my wedding date. Aggie is the main person who runs OPOWS. Aggie was super responsive with our conversations. She informed me about the wedding service package options. I decided to go with the Plus Package option which includes: photographer, videographer, wedding dresses (which I didn't use), Emcee, DJ (I gave the DJ our custom playlist since my husband and I wanted to pick our songs), hair and make-up artist, reception decorations, and chair covers. We scheduled to meet a few times before my wedding. Aggie was super helpful with providing recommendations and tips. I could tell that she really cares about her clients and wants to leave a good impression. Nearing my wedding date, she provided me with a run down schedule so that I could coordinate with her team and the external vendors that she partnered with. We made sure that my wedding day itinerary made sense. On the day of my wedding, I met most of my vendors in person. I was definitely stressed out because I always have this fear that something will go wrong. But to my surprise, all of my vendors did an excellent job on my wedding day. I could tell that they really enjoyed their job and tried to help me make the most out of my wedding day. Throughout the wedding and after the wedding, I received so many compliments from my guests in regards to the wedding decorations, the vendors we used, and etc. I made sure to advertise OPOWS to my guests in case they want to work with a one-stop shop vendor haha. Thank you again Aggie and team! My wedding day was very memorable and filled with happy memories! NOTE: If you're Chinese and can speak some Cantonese, this would make communicating a lot easier. Aggie, her team, and the external vendors that she works with are Chinese. There was a slight language barrier when communicating with Aggie and the external vendors since my Chinese isn't that great haha. But overall, we were able to communicate and get through the wedding planning!

We paid extra for our photographer (Tang) and my MUA (Hera) was amazing. Hera was my main point of contact regarding any upgrades, questions, or changes to our package. While Hera was on vacation, I worked with Aggie to discuss and finalize the decorations of the venue. I picked out my potential dresses months in advance and Hera put them on hold for me as another bride was interested in one of the dresses I picked out. The MC and DJ were assigned a month before the actual wedding to discuss a song list and anything the MC needed to confirm and know in advance. Our MC was Jason and he was very lively and made the night more fun with his enthusiasm. The entire team was very patient and worked with me throughout the whole planning process as I had many questions and requests. I'm really glad I booked OPO because I didn't need to deal with additional vendors and could focus on what I really wanted for my wedding that OPO didn't cover. When first starting our wedding planning, we didn't want to deal with booking all the individual vendors like DJ, Florist, Bartenders, etc so that's when we found out about Wedgewood and the all-inclusive packages they offer that can also be customized to what you want. This was soo much more convenient and stress-free for us. All of the planning coordinators were very helpful and any of them responded back to our emails very quickly. However, the success of our wedding day was really due to our assigned coordinator Allison, who was absolutely amazing--she was so down-to-earth, personable, and was so knowledgeable/helpful answering our (many) questions and requests throughout the wedding planning process and on the day of. It honestly felt like we were planning our wedding with a close friend. On the day of our wedding, Allison was constantly checking up on both of us, but especially me (or so it felt!), making sure I was staying hydrated, adjusting my hair and veil for me, bringing me things that I needed, or even communicating with my family members for me while I got ready in the bridal suite. She even brought appetizers from our cocktail hour to us in the bridal suite since she knew we'd be too busy mingling later to get some ourselves, which we really appreciated. I'm sure all of Wedgewood's coordinators are fantastic, but we highly, highly recommend Allison because of how much she did to ensure everything ran smoothly. For our reception, our banquet captain was Simren, and she also did an amazing job taking over the event after Allison's shift was over. Simren knew all of the details of our reception just as well as Allison, and was so attentive and was alway nearby to help get us anything we needed. We truly had the best time on our big day and everything came together perfectly on the day of. Canyon View's team worked great with our wedding coordinator/planner and all of our other vendors. The venue is simple, elegant & spacious, and you can truly tailor it to whatever you dream of. The outdoor area where we had our ceremony has a beautiful view as well. Saneta was the Cal State certified event planner . Before the meeting she e mailed us and called us to remind us "'don't be late " . We arrived 5 minutes early and were greeted by her lovely assistant. We were informed to wait a little while and we ended up waiting 20 minutes . No apologies. Sandra met us when she was done with the last client . We were wondering why stressed so much about " on time " while she could not keep the appointment as scheduled. The venue is beautiful, nicely devoted with big Wi downs and screen so you could appreciate the sunshine and green lawn outside . It was also big enough to accommodate 200 - 250 guests . It has a big dance floor , outdoor area to have a wedding ceremony and a fountain . The basic cost of the venue was the cheapest compared to other . However, they have a detailed list of renting cost every single item ( like dessert bowls , chair cover , dessert spoons, cocktail table , etc ) . I have enclosed a list for your reference. I would not recommend to come to this venue for the hidden costs and inconvenience. We did not appreciate the dinner banquet was only Buffett style . Saneta told us that they did not have the staffs and time to do table service. We were expecting an elegant dining banquet and were quite disappointed.

Our first intro call was extremely informative. She laid out her process and her experiences with other couples and different types of weddings she's officiated in the past. It was clear she was an experienced officiant from the well-established process she had. Her communication was very effective. Her meetings were tailored toward new couples who have zero experience with weddings and she was always responsive to any questions we had through email or text. We received many compliments about the Ceremony that she officiated. Saundra had developed 90% of the script herself and personalized it based on our preferences. Her delivery and energy was less officiant-like and more casual/home-like which was what we were hoping for. I definitely would recommend Saundra as an officiant for any wedding. Her support and preparation for our wedding left no ambiguity during the ceremony.

After quite a bit of research we chose Justina/JL Events and we are so grateful we did! Her services were definitely worth the investment. We highly recommend Justina for wedding planning and coordination. She is professional but personable, trustworthy, and very easy to work with. She had great communication from the start and all throughout the preparation for our big day; her responsiveness was amazing. During our first meeting, Justina quickly identified our needs and vision and created a detailed timeline for our wedding planning. She helped us narrow down design choices and accompanied us to meetings with vendors. We were impressed by her organization and proactive approach! Having Justina as our planner helped alleviate much of the stress that comes with planning a large wedding (we had about 260 guests.) There were several instances in which we were frustrated dealing with unresponsive vendors but Justina was great at facilitating communication and even helped us find better companies to work with. Justina helped us stay on track during rehearsal day and was an expert problem-solver. She coordinated with our vendors and the staff at Casa Real with ease and was patient with us and our large wedding entourage. On the day of our wedding, Justina and her assistant Dana took such great care of us and we were able to enjoy our wedding celebration! Within four days, we had an experienced coordinator assigned--and what a blessing that turned out to be. Rachel Roddewig and her assistant were absolutely AMAZING. Rachel met with us twice--first for an hour and then for another two and a half hours. She developed a detailed schedule and timeline and came prepared with thoughtful questions to ensure that every detail had been addressed. During the week leading up to the wedding, Rachel contacted every vendor to confirm logistics, schedules, and responsibilities. She also directed the staff I had hired for setup, bussing, breakdown, and cleanup. She attended the rehearsal, arrived early to walk the grounds and familiarize herself with the venue, coordinated everyone for the ceremony, and took care of every detail throughout the reception. If there were any hiccups, I knew nothing about them until after the wedding and reception were over. Rachel handled everything calmly and worked seamlessly with the vendors to ensure the day went perfectly. I truly believe the wedding was as perfect as it was because of Rachel's extraordinary organization, attention to detail, and logistical expertise. A lot of tears were shed the weekend before when I realized the entire event would be moved indoors. I was a wreck. But ARIANA was my event coordinator and she made me feel so reassured it would be beautiful and she was right. Our planning had gone well the whole year leading up to our wedding week and then I thought it was all falling apart. But she was amazing. She pulled it together and it was stunning!! The Monday before the wedding, she calmed me down and walked me through how it would all be setup inside the cocktail reception area. Our guests said it was better than if it had been outside!! It was cozy, by the fireplace while it was raining outside. Had so many compliments on the ceremony. We attended one of the bridal events to try some food and nothing blew us away then but the food on the wedding day was amazing. Again, so so many compliments from our guests on how good the food stations were. It was seriously really good! My family friends and I joked that all the craziness was the "storm before the calm". Once I had to be in place, ceremony was starting etc..it was the calm. Everything was perfection. Dj Chris was amazing too. I felt so special and everyone there really makes you feel like you are all VIP. Ariana was amazing at the rehearsal too! It's like corralling cats! Everyone is everywhere and talking and walking off. She got to the important stuff and was so patient. And kind. She was also so good and keeping track of all the details (I had a LOT OF DETAILS). Many vendors I hired, timelines, decor and she had it all down. Very capable. And also, what's really nice is although she was my main coordinator she's not there every day (obviously!) but anytime I called whoever answered the phone was able to make notes and she would always follow up too.
