Food at Doctor's Sub-Acute Care in Patterson, NJ is not appealing & my dad needs to grain his strength to get out of there. Delivery service has to be within walking distance. The menu through GRUBHUB's app does not allow for you to add jelly, hot sauce, etc. and there are no drinks on the menu. So, I had to call it & see if it can be added to my order. The charge was $1.50 for the hot tea & they don't place charges under $5. GRUBHUB small order fee is BS, total order $13.07 for fish, grits, toast and hot tea but you I understand there's a COST for CONVENIENCE. I reached out to the GRUBHUB driver to again to thank for the service & to remind him/her to make sure everything was in the order. I even had last minute request from my dad. He wanted cheese on the side & it was in the middle of his grits but he was able to remove it. Everything arrived in the order, it was hot, and according to my dad, the meal was great! He was satisfied and that's all that matters. I would call this a success!
