The staff is super friendly, upbeat and quick to help and give suggestions. The grounds are well managed and there's a nice area at the top to take photos all the way to the ocean. We loved our pulled pork sandwiche and cheese plate. You can bring up to 1 Ltr of water in a sealed plastic water bottle. Our seats were 4th row and amazing sound and experience! Well worth the drive up from OC!

The vibes are certainly much more chill. I've seen numerous acts here throughout the years and sat in different areas. The GA section is still my favorite even if you do have to stand the whole time. My friends treated me to the Disclosure show on a Wednesday night. My experience this time around was so enjoyable, in all ways. We found parking less than 5 mins walk away. A win! There was no line for our area when we entered which was right as the opening act was finishing his set. We made it inside with enough time to get a bevy and hear the last song the opening act played. The team who were applying the wristband for the people in GA were so nice. 10/10 vibes Also just want to mention how nice everyone was. Specially on our way out. The folks at the entrance/exit greeted everyone good night and told us to drive safe. I mean, c'mon.

Concerts in the Park happens every July and is sponsored by Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation…read more Hundreds of people bring their blankets and a picnic to enjoy this free music concert series. The setting couldn't be more perfect, as it's located right on Cabrillo Boulevard along the beautiful Santa Barbara waterfront. The concerts go from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday nights in Chase Palm Park. Dogs are welcome on leash. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park, but you will see many people drinking wine. There is a policeman walking around, but he turns a blind eye as long as no one is causing trouble. It's a relaxing way to enjoy our beautiful city, chill with friends, and listen to good live music.

Ranging from Stevie Nicks cover bands, to funk, to Cuban soul, you just never know what the week will bring. Besides the people you are with the two beat parts are the people watching (you will know what I mean when you go) AND the evening sunsets with the beach breeze. Can't get better than a free concert on a summer night in the American Riviera.

My friends and I were sitting in a booth near the karaoke stage when my purse and white sweater accidentally slipped into the gap between the booth and the wall. Apparently, this gap contains part of the karaoke power setup, because the karaoke briefly stopped working when my belongings fell into it. If that area is truly that critical, it seems like a serious oversight that it is left completely uncovered and accessible to customers. The way the situation was handled was completely unacceptable. The karaoke DJ, Eric, came over to retrieve my belongings. Instead of simply placing them back on the booth seat or handing them to me, he threw my purse and sweater onto the floor while yelling at me and my friends. As a result, a bottle of perfume inside my purse shattered, my belongings were scattered, my purse was damaged, and my white sweater was dirtied. What bothered me most was not the accident itself, but the level of hostility and aggression directed toward me over something that was clearly unintentional. At no point was there any attempt to calmly explain the issue or address the situation respectfully. Instead, I was publicly embarrassed and treated as though I had done something wrong rather than accidentally dropping belongings into an exposed gap in the seating area. I was genuinely shaken by the interaction. In all my years of going to bars, restaurants, concerts, and other public venues, I have never had an employee throw my personal belongings on the ground while yelling at me. The response from management was equally disappointing. When two of my friends approached management to express concern about what had happened, they were threatened with being removed from the bar rather than having their concerns taken seriously. I understand that technical issues can be frustrating and that mistakes happen. What I do not understand is why a customer was subjected to that kind of treatment over an accidental incident that could have been handled with a simple conversation. The entire experience was humiliating, unnecessary, and completely avoidable. I hope management takes a serious look at both the exposed setup near the karaoke stage and the conduct of the staff involved, because no customer should be treated this way. If anyone from Whiskey Richard's would be willing to contact me further, I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Every exhibit actually keeps them engaged not just looking, but doing. The interactive tables (like the spinning drum and dice games) were a hit. My kids didn't want to leave and kept going back to the same stations. It's also really clean, organized, and easy to navigate even with little ones. Pricing was reasonable for what you get abbout $25 for adults, $20 for kids, and under 2 is free, which is nice. Staff was friendly and everything felt well-maintained. You can tell they designed this place with kids in mind but adults still have fun too. Definitely a solid family day trip spot from LA. Would come back again

I figured out it was the Moxi. I guess it make quite the impression on her last year. The museum had some new exhibits this time around. They added a fun ball launcher that I also enjoyed as well. The water exhibit could use some love. Some of the hydraulic levers was either not working or you had to really work at it. My toddler was not strong enough to use them. One thing I like is that we were able to leave and come back after lunch. We got to make the most if our trip. I'm sure we'll ge back next year.
