Though always skeptical of such consensus, unconsciously I bought into this for years. One day, a favorite bartender from another establishment wound up here. I started popping in early, more than a little wary, cautious to plan for an early departure. But slowly I got to know the other staff. The absolute nicest bunch of people in Santa Barbara. People I never went out of my way to befriend, who picked me out as a regular, showed me respect I never asked for, treated me with the utmost kindness even though I never did much to deserve it. Wildcat has become a place where I'm comfortable walking in, even on a busy Friday or Saturday night; and know I'll be valued, respected, and protected, even by people I barely know. And also served the absolute coldest draft beer in the city except for Lure which closes at 10. This sounds like an ad but I swear it's the damn truth. Be prepared to wait in line. The line is part of the fun. These are your fellow patrons, after all. Your friends and neighbors. Enjoy it while it lasts.

As I was walking out, the woman at the door literally GRABBED my drink out of my hand. Ma'am... you can use your words. You can simply say, "You can't leave with your drink." There is absolutely no reason to grab someone or their drink. When I said, "Oh, really?" she responded with an incredibly rude "YES, REALLY." The attitude was completely unnecessary. I'm from Vegas, and walking around with your drink is extremely common in certain areas, so I genuinely wasn't aware of their policy. Maybe instead of acting like everyone should automatically know every bar's rules, a little basic communication would help. Overall: cheap-looking, weirdly childish atmosphere, ridiculous 2000s music, and an unnecessarily rude door experience. If you're looking for a very young, chaotic club with questionable music and a door staff member ready to confiscate your cocktail like it's evidence at a crime scene, have fun. For everyone else: save your money and go somewhere better.

Is checked at the door, and you are given a wristband. So, no minors/kids allowed. (Nice!) Harry's has a well stocked bar and a decent variety of beer on tap as well as cold bottles. Classic rock music was being played throughout the bar as we had a quick game of pool. The place started filling up with people after we'd been there for about half an hour. Apparently Karaoke night is a big thing here for the locals, because people were stepping up to the mic and killing it!They don't serve any kind of food here, but they do allow you to bring your own food in. (There are several hole in the wall type restaurants just a few steps away from Harry's to choose from, if you like) Recommend you hit Harry's up if you're passing through or staying in town for the weekend!

Bathrooms are clean, no food options but you can bring food in I guess we did. Music was good, nice dance floor. But the 2nd band was way too loud that it made us all leave. So they should get a handle on that. Its nice to be able to carry a conversation with your friends and enjoy drinks but once it gets deafening then thats time to exit.

Joe and the entire entertainment team and staff were attentive and made the night a success. DJ Snupi was such a hit with all of the kids and adults alike at the party. The entire entertainment team did a great job keeping the party going. We didn't order food there but the venue allows you to cater with any company that has insurance. I thought it was great that we weren't limited to catering options offered by the venue. Our event was about 140 people. Also, trust Joe and Lisa and their recs. We initially didn't get the patio but after talking to them about the party the recommended. So glad we decided to listen to them and get the patio. Pros: easy to find, plenty of parking, the venue itself it decorated so even if you have minimal decor it still looks great. Great staff. Close to the freeways for out of town guests. The venue is close to hotels. Attentive staff: Cons: honestly the only one I could think of was that the floor was freshly waxed so it was a little slippery at the entrance.

From the moment we signed the contract, Joe the owner made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. On the day of the event, when we arrived an hour early, everything was already perfectly set up. Gloria who handled the balloon decor was incredible, Moti the chef served delicious food, and the DJ was truly professional and kept the energy up all night. Even the security guard was extremely kind and personally walked each child out to their parents' car at the end of the event. They have an outstanding team and if I could give 10 stars, I would. Highly recommended and Joe, see you at the next event.
