How does this place not have more stars?!? I went to play skee ball for my birthday and I loved it. Skee ball was a quarter a game and the bartender was able to provide change. There were also so many other games, including board games, a giant Connect 4, and Jenga. We played shuffleboard and ordered some drinks and nachos. We happened to be there during Happy Hour so we got good prices on our food and it was good. The ambiance is casual and fun. I could totally see it being a blast with an even bigger group. We had a lot of trouble finding a place that offered us a welcoming vibe, great food and drinks, and flexibility in guest count. Aron put all our worries at ease. His knowledge of Santa Barbara and what our guests would want and need during both events greatly helped us. Unbearable was the perfect venue to host our welcome drinks! Came here around 6:30pm on a Tuesday night and it was empty. Hubby and I each ordered a drink and found it flavorful. We ordered the toast with Brie on the happy hour menu and while it was good, it didn't feel like each piece was worth $3. I would've preferred 2 slices for $5 as opposed to $3 per individual order. Finding indoor spots to relax with your dog can be tough especially when traveling. While hiking and beach trips are fun, there is only so much our feet and paws can tolerate. That's why we love Unbearable. I visited on a weekend, when they open at 1 pm. It was quiet until 2 pm, allowing my dog and me to enjoy some quality time to play. Honestly, the games was what kept us here for an hour. We played ping pong and connect 4! The vibes were loud and chatty, it looked like a huge bridal party was taking over this spot. There was a huge puddle of water on the floor, and no caution sign or any attempts to clean it up. It was pretty packed with people and pretty loud. The games kept us entertained and in the competitive spirit. We did have to leave our leftovers outside as they don't allow outside food or drink. If you're looking for a casual, laid back night - this is where it's at. They serve a selection from Wine Therapy down the street so that includes the famous Frosé (frozen blended rosé) and chambongs (champagne flute bong). Helps that they serve those items because Wine Therapy is a bit higher up on State so this is more convenient. They have a variety of spritz' which are very popular as well. I was taking a trip down memory lane visiting all my old stops with a friend while in town and it reminded me how much I loved it here during my college days. Young crowd and sweeter drinks forsure but could easily ask the bartender to adjust the sweetness of the spritz which I'd recommend. I love the Halle Berry or the Drew Barrymore (also can we appreciate the naming!) I love the Meryl Streep or the Drew Barrymore (also can we appreciate the naming!) The space here is what makes it and a good way to come in large or small groups with tons of seating*when not busy. Tonight I walked up with a friend who had a disability and was turned away because "you came up here all wobbly my manager says you've had too much." We've literally had 0 drinks here or anywhere else tonight and were coming for food and drinks. They didn't want to listen to us explain. Now we won't be back. Extremely loud, very hard to hear what anyone is saying because of the music. I know bars can be loud, but this was too much to be enjoyable. There was no outdoor patio area available when I arrived, so we were stuck inside. I was intrigued by the beer list, so talked with my group, determined drinks, waited in line, and was able to order. Only then was I told that all of the draft beer was unavailable. It would be nice to put up a sign or at least take down the hanging paper list of beers to note this. Wanted to get water, but the machine didn't seem to work. Went to bartender, apparently the water dispenser is just annoying/tricky to use; why not replace it then? Had one drink and then was relieved to leave. All that aside, the guy at the door was very friendly, and the bartender was overall friendly too. Sadly I will not be back. The service was lackluster at best. We arrived around d 2:30- and left and came back around 7 pm. Both of bartenders working each shift were unfriendly and seemed to be wildly inconvenienced by our group. The girl who was working when we returned at 7 was far less approachable than who was working first. She clearly was not in the mood to be at work and was complaining loud enough for us to hear while she was behind the bar. She treated my group as though we were an utter nuisance. Considering our large party was pretty much the only patronage in the bar, it seems a bit off for her to be in such bad spirits, not to mention that the entire purpose of her job is to take care of the patrons. I'm a bit disappointed in myself for even giving her a 15% tip because she certainly did not deserve it. read more

My brother in law asked why we can't go in he said "I don't know where you came from" Wait what!! Just opened and we stumbled upon soft opening weekend so it was still very quiet but I'm glad to see this huge bar space occupied again. They gave us a couple free rounds of skeeball and Big Buck Hunter so that was awesome. We ordered fruity spritzers which were kind of a house made version of spiked seltzer. Service was great and friendly and the Buffalo wings were great. Full bar and plenty of games available including corn hole, uno, and ping pong. Food comes from the shared kitchen at the neighboring bar/restaurant the Cruisery so I already know the food is excellent. Hope to see the word get out about this place! read more

The seating was very spread out and there were maybe 5 tables in total. Nice place which I'm sure would've been that much better had it been fully occupied.
