Because I was traveling I was only able to communicate by text and she was professional and very thorough even though it was awkward. Showed up and met her in person and I must say that she was super nice for it being 6:45 am on Sunday morning. She let us know that we would be testing with her dad, Keith. No problem as I read the other reviews and felt we were in good hands. To my horror the gas light came on while we were waiting. I told Keith and he said they could stop and put in $5.00 with, just in case. Super nice and a great experience for my son to practice filling the car. Over the top customer service and accommodation for my ding bat mistake. I did not go with them on the test as I am a phantom break pedal stomper and make my son nervous. He reported that Keith was very patient and put him as much at ease as he could be. He said he was not gruff, grumpy,or bossy but offered helpful suggestions in a teaching way, not just barking out directions or criticism. As I was waiting at the school I observed Jennifer also being very supportive and excited for the people that were testing with her. I wish I had researched driving school companies more for his level 1 & 2 classes. I feel like these two would have made it a positive experience and it would not have taken over a year for my son to get the confidence to take the road test. If you have a nervous driver or somebody that tests badly I really think you will do well with Keith and Jennifer!

The person performing the test for my daughter was Dan (a Teenager which was a bit surprising) and was very unclear with his instructions to her.(and later to me.) The directions he gave to her and later myself in regard to how often you are allowed to readjust position during the parking portion were incredibly confusing and also misleading. He said several times that "the driver is allowed to pull forward as many times as they want, to readjust." And it wasn't until the third time he was explaining that I stopped and said you keep saying it's allowed, then why did she get points? He said "Oh you're allowed but you get points every time you do it." So he told her she was allowed to adjust as much as she wanted but did not make it clear she would be marked for each time. He also told her several times she could ask any questions she wanted and as many questions as she wanted but then said in response to her questions "The State doesn't allow me to answer that question."

She was so patient and walked me through all my confusion and listed everything else step-by-step Weil also giving me expert advice. My instructor Sue had a very calming and considerate presence. She was very pleasant to talk to throughout my test. I think many of the previous negative reviews are written by angry parents who are upset that their child didn't pass their driving test. These instructors have a very serious job, and if they do not follow the rules then they could be letting unsafe drivers have a license and putting other people in risk of serious danger. They shouldn't be passing people who do not demonstrate safe and legal driving skills. Make sure you have your proper paperwork (valid insurance/registration), your vehicle is in working condition, and that you actually take the time to read the "What Every Driver Must Know" and the "Driving Skills Test Study Guide" documents (both available online) and you will do just fine!

He's a shy child but, his teachers told me he was a top participant in his classes. They encouraged him and praised him and also assisted him to use his skills in unique ways. For example, an art project for my son is daunting. He gets very stressed. He doesn't have the coordination to cut and paste or anything intricate. His teacher worked with him and allowed him to use his computer skills instead. So he was producing videos and power point presentations in place of some of the assigned work. This entire year, I knew his teachers cared about him, and his grades and wellbeing. I am sure this is also a reflection of great leadership on the administration side of things as well! Nate went from struggling last year in virtual school to shining brightly! With his math and science teachers' encouragement he applied, and was accepted, into Utica's Center for Math Science and Technology! He also managed to get on the all A honor roll! Thank a teacher! They can make an enormous difference in your child's confidence! I can't believe I have a Freshman now!

I have 5 kids that currently attend 2 of the schools in the district…read more My oldest is at the junior high, but because he is in 9th grade, he's in the matching band for Eisenhower High school. This school is as exceptional, as the rest in the district. When we sold our house back in April, our number 1 criteria for finding a new house was that it HAD to be in the Utica district. We bought a house in Slate August, just days before the start of the new year- and it WAS in the Utica district. So close to our old house that our kids did not even have to switch school. The teachers are amazing and willing to help and go above and beyond 110%! They are willing to meet at your convenience- if you ever need to talk or if you see your child struggling. The inside of the schools are always immaculate- even if there is 100s of kids spending 8 hours plus inside. I can't say enough good things about Utica Community Schools. I'm so pleased with the education my kids are receiving!

Almost 3 weeks later we are still waiting to receive our refund from Apple Driving, to date all we are getting is excuses stating because we paid by credit card it could take up to a month to receive our refund. As a business owner you should be concerned about good customer service and apparently Apply Driving School could care less. You should beware in choosing this company for drivers training!!!! That was okay because I totally agree with paying small business a fair wage and do not have a problem giving workers what they're worth. Just because I asked the question and kindly attempted to negotiate a bit with her, she rudely told me that she will not complete the work even though I kept trying to tell her to just go ahead with the price quoted (she wouldn't listen) and then she just abruptly hung up. She was so outraged and insulted that I would even pose the question that she didn't take a breath to realize that I was trying to say the price is okay and to go ahead with the alterations. Before arriving at the store to pick up my clothing, I decided to be gracious and forget about our previous phone call and forgive her poor behavior, but she decided to be rude again and tell me that I had the audacity to call her and ask her to negotiate the price. She obviously doesn't understand that it's okay to ask for a better price. It's her prerogative to say no thank you and let the customer decide if that's reasonable. I did not pressure her in any way, but her behavior showed her lack of professionalism and human decency to a customer. She's a rude and disrespectful person. Please do not support a business who treats others this way.
