Based on the reviews he read here on Yelp he decided to go with Alt Builders and their owner Dan. He contacted Dan and was who responded very promptly on a Sunday afternoon. Dan came out the next day to size up the job. He was prompt and very knowledgeable about what Jeff was looking to have done. The patio door was ordered and came in approximately 3 weeks later. Dan and his crew were able to come out to do the job within a couple of days and completed the job in a day and a half just like he promised. They cleaned up and the installation went smoothly. The price was very reasonable and Jeff is definitely going to hire Alt Builders in the future to get some doors installed. He highly recommends Dan for any work or repairs you might need.

The lady at the showroom was helpful and to the point. Workers were good. They didn't have enough people on the job to get the sliding glass door upstairs, but they called in extra help and got there right away and got the job done. Everything went well. Josh was knowledgeable and pleasant. He was also the only one to point out to me the 2 layers of siding on my home (there was old wood shake under the existing vinyl). I liked everything about the way he did business, so I went with them. The roofing was done in 1 day and the team of 13 guys he had was efficient clean and very pleasant. A Lead showed up for the delivery of the roofing to make sure it was properly placed to protect my driveway. The team that came to do the siding was just as good. They all seemed very happy to be at their jobs and just did a fantastic job. I had all the windows and doors rewrapped and had all new gutters. My wife and I couldn't be happier.

The Good: - The…read morepre-sale process was smooth. Jake had an excellent presentation - They were the lowest bidder - The roof looks good and I have not had any issues with it. - Their "A" team came out to correct some issues (the flashing looked like it had been installed by a 4th grader) The Bad: - I was told that a PM would be onsite the entire time. In reality he was on site for maybe 10% of the project - My project was sub-contracted out to a another team and I was NOT informed of this. This became a major problem when I started having issues and could not talk to anyone (the subcontractors did not speak english). Note that Buffalo Fresh Roof is NOT the company you are signing with. The contract is actually with Bors Pros Construction - Within an hour on the first day, the protective tarps had come down and there was debris raining down on my deck and flower beds. When the PM showed up at the end of the day, he said that this could not be helped. Of course, that is garbage - they wouldn't put the tarps up if they didn't have a purpose. Also, this is not what I was told in pre-sales. As a side note, I saw the same sub-contractors working on a project down the street for another company a few weeks later. There were no problems with the tarps on that project. - The roofers decided to try to do a u-turn in my lawn and got stuck (I still have the ruts). They then gave me attitude when I refused to try to pull them out using my truck. - I have damage to my gutters, deck, flower beds and lawn. - I am still finding nails around the perimeter of the house To be fair, the PM did knock off the additional cost incurred in replacing some of the plywood. It wasn't worth what I am going to have to spend in the spring to fix my yard, flowerbeds and lawn - I just wanted them gone.

I was then told they sealed my windows when they hadn't as I was home. Then when I finally did get them to the house, the owner let himself into my backyard without making his presence known. He was then talking down to me on the phone and clearly showed that he doesn't care about his customers via text (see the picture I uploaded). I will never recommend to my family/friends nor will I ever consider them for future projects.
