That is absolutely not the case; I have experienced excellent customer service, and they have excellent prices. A man that I affectionately refer to as Mr. G is always in the store. I'm not certain if he's the owner or an associate, but he has a fantastic personality. I don't always need to go to the liquor store, but when I do it will certainly be this one.

The Tequila Sunrise was similarly unpleasant, resembling a poorly made wine cocktail from Walmart that someone tried unsuccessfully to make palatable. Neither taste like the have any resemblance of alcohol. While I appreciate the quick delivery, I can't recommend these cocktails unless you're someone who just turned 21 and want to feel like you're living it up with daiquiris. I'm guessing because the proprietor is from Nigeria. If we've had a particularly spirited time, and that's only happened once in a blue moon, we might show up a couple times in a weekend to replenish the booze. This place is in South East Austin, and before you start jeering about getting mugged just know I can walk to this place from my house so watch the insults. It used to be an old Shell gas station, but after the Shell brand disappeared they covered it with a simple yellow sign saying Food Mart (they do still sell gas just a non branded gasoline). In addition the convenience store itself is painted a neutral color and has no sign. You really have no way of knowing this place is specifically called Food Mart 2400 since they don't really brand anything at all. In fact when I got brave enough to ask the cashier what the name of the store is called he just grunted and pointed at a piece of paper showing me their Twitter handle to follow. Now why on Earth would a convenience store need a Twitter feed? That brings me to my entire point. The beer. Food Mart 2400 is one of the few places in Austin where you can find Dogfish Head 120 in a bottle. In fact, they love Dogfish Head and carry several of their beers. They also carry a lot of Left Hand beers. And import beers from outside the United States. You will find beers here that you won't find in other places. Which is why if you are a beer fan you should follow their Twitter feed. What if you don't like beer? Well nevermind about my entire review then. Just kidding. They do actually have a pretty decent wine collection, and they carry a lot of imported snacks from Mexico like corn chips with a literal bottle of hot sauce taped on to the package. You can for sure find some unique stuff here. But back to the amazing beer selection...
