Three issues with my visit today: 1: I ordered and payed for a bacon egg and cheese toaster. I received a bacon burger with no tomato? How do you even do that? They must hire some pretty incompetent people. 2. The burger I didn't order was cold and half of it was mayo. They can't even make a burger right. It was literally slathered in mayo. 3. One and done. We drove through Sonic on a hot day to try there milk shakes. Bizarre excuse for a shake. You couldn't suck it through the too small and too long straw. Seems recurring with app orders in this area. You pay and tip up front and the order is wrong. Ordered an ultimate burrito got sausage egg and cheese. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant got a toaster. Set the order for 8:15 got it at 8:27. Sonics food is good but this was executed terribly. Who wants to drive back and waste more time. I was wondering why this location, has only 2 stars, and I haven't read or skimmed the reviews yet to find out yet. I ordered the JR. Frito Pie Wrap. It's not bad. The flavor is good. Small, but it IS a JR. So if your wanting a snack, and not too much food, the size is perfect. Now, here's the issue I found, it wasn't hot at all. I literally went to a parking lot around the corner to eat it, and it was a step above room temp. And because the chips seemed freshly put in the wrap, cause they were still some what crunchy, it didn't seem like they were sitting, so their warmers of chili must not be hot. So that's a little aggravating. The line was a little slow. BUT, it wasn't crazy slow, normal slow, like someone in front of me ordered a lot of food kind of slow. The girl in the window was sweet, and courteous. But I will be leaving a review from the receipt for them to check into this issue. read more

Cheap, quick, you don't even have to leave the car! The menu boards accept credit cards too, but this means that you can't tip your car hop so keep that in mind. Sonic has the "coney" niche. If you don't know what a coney is, you need to try it. It's a hot dog and Sonic has them with bacon and blue cheese, with chili (and onions of course), a New York (with grilled onions and kraut). Or just plain, but if you put ketchup on it then I will hunt you down! Great drinks, everything is mix and match. I like the low-cal limeade. We then pushed the button to ask where our dessert was, which we only ordered four items. By this time we had waited 20 minutes. The drive thru was going faster than the cars parked in the stall. I was late to go somewhere and hadn't had time to eat, so on to Sonic I went. I really don't prefer to go to fast food places, but it happens sometimes. PARKING/WAIT: You have 3 options for ordering, at the drive thru, park and walk up to the window (with some outdoor seating), and park in the spots where you can order your food and then they bring it out to you. I have only been here one other time and there wasn't much of a wait. However, this last time I came at the worst time possible... dinner time!!! Ahhhh. Haha. I understand that during this time there is most likely going to be a lot more people who are doing the same and that it isn't going to be real quick, but OH M GEE, it was ridiculous. I don't mind waiting for food, but when it is fast food quality then why am I waiting? It literally took me 40 minutes to get through the drive through. Very ridiculous. Wow! If you want to visit this Sonic, better fill up on gas first. I was the 4th car in the drive through and it took over 40 minutes. None of the cars in front of me seemed to have big orders either. They are just that slow!! Plus I ordered a large shake and got 75% whipped cream on top of what was actually a small shake. Last Saturday night we went to sonic drive through. The young lady who was taking our order could not understand my Husband,(my Husband's fault). So, this great young lady came out of sonic to our car at drive thru and made sure she got the order right. Then, she came out again when we pulled around closer to the window and said another girl erased our order when she came out 1x. I thought it was great that she admitted that. She was so patient. This location has serious customer service opportunities. We pulled into a port and order 2 of the new cookie jar shakes. The youth on the other end could not hear us due to their music blaring so loud at us, so he came out to our car. I gave him my order (2 different shakes both in different sizes). He repeated it back incorrectly. I corrected him. He them repeated it back wrong again. He was standing a foot from me, which shows he was not paying attention. I corrected him a 3rd time and he said ok and ran off. The order came across my screen wrong. I had already paid in the slot. 10 minutes went by and a different kid ran the shakes out. No receipt was given to us to even see what they made. They sent the correct size shakes, but both were the same flavor (should have been 1 Oreo, and 1 chips ahoy). I was overly frustrated with both 15yd old kids representing the company. Your management needs to train the employees to actually listen to what the customers are saying, and check the orders before they go out. 2 stars is only given because we do enjoy the shakes when they are correct ( which is rare). read more

Just disappointing. I've driven through this Sonic for several years, and it just never seems to improve as far as "fast food" is concerned. Even when there is no line to speak of, there soon will be, as was the case today. I sat in line for 20 minutes, and I was the second in line at the drive through! Honestly, this restaurant could do so much better if they would train their people better. It was really ridiculous, and I'm not sure I'm going back to that Sonic.
