I've given 4 stars only because both times I've ordered a vanilla malt, the malt is put in first and there's always a big glob of it unmixed at the bottom. I'm not sure what is going on at this sonic location but nothing good is happening over here. every time I go here it takes for ever to get my food and people are always rude and sound like they don't know what they're doing when they take my order and that's probably why every time I get my food it is 100% incorrect!!! last night I got a burger with only cheese and extra lettuce I literally got a burger with absolutely nothing on it and I waited an immense amount of time for it and we all know sonic is expensive and I paid good money for it and (I just wanted my food) on top of that I am always treated poorly as if they are too good to give decent service.... so I would NEVER ask them to remake my food because lord only knows what they would do to it. Do not waste your money here. I would give it a 0 if I could. Multiple times we have gone for dinner or lunch and the food is always old, soggy, and cold. We went tonight for ice cream and sat in line for over 30 minutes while the girl at the window chatted with other people. Will not be returning, this was the final straw. read more

Sorely, sorely disappointed! The only reason we stopped at Sonic today was we were headed out of town and McDonalds was closed for remodeling. The girl who took our order was rude. Then I ordered a large Dr. Pepper with "easy ice" and my drink was still more then half full of ice! Which is super frustrating for me and I should've checked before we pulled out. It didn't. Then I order the "Premium Ultimate meat and cheese burrito." Premium and Ultimate! Seriously. That's the biggest false advertising I've ever seen! This poor excuse of a burrito, let alone one called "premium and ultimate," barely passes as a $.99 value burrito! $16 breakfast that was worth $5. I feel completely ripped off and disappointed! Stopped in to try a foot long chili coney and wish I hadn't. Food came out quick enough but was barely warm. Tots didn't have enough chili or cheese to rid them of the frozen tot taste. Coney wasn't even warm, not enough chili or cheese. Won't be back. read more

Sonic no longer carries cream slushies which is ridiculous because they have ice cream and slushies so why can't they just mix them together, and they don't have many flavor options for slushies, such as watermelon and Green Apple. read more

My first 2013 review still stands. This Sonic has well prepared meals and it shows with the lunch business they have, daily. After 8 pm certain ice cream is half price. Chicken sandwiches are delicious every time I have had them. Order their double cheese burger with all the fixin's. They're messy as heck but tasty. read more

So we stopped here to get food on our way to a family vacation spot. ERIKA a worker with one year of service messed up our drinks and made us pay for them to be fixed. She also brought out the food and forgot one whole part and brought another part out late, luckily we were STILL THERE to receive what we paid for. The customer service is terrible and the customers obviously aren't valued. Is it too much to ask to have workers that actually commit to making the experience pleasant and not a waste of money? read more

I just stopped in for some chicken strips. Absolutely the worst excuse for chicken strips I have ever attempted to eat. I threw most of them away. They had to have been sitting in a warming drawer for a day or two dry, tough, and the coating was hard enough to break nails on. Great drinks but won't be buying food there again. read more

I have ordered vanilla shakes in the past and they have been great, but lately like the past couple of months I have order 3 vanilla shakes and it seem they just put the vanilla soft serve in a cup and put whipped cream on top.. I could not even suck the shake through the straw. They did not mix it with milk or blend it. It took 30 mintues for it to melt enough to be able to drink it through the straw. Plus customer service has went down hill fast. My kids and I will not go there anymore. read more

Another lame fast food joint that NEVER gets your order right. Seriously you are better off handing them a 10.00 bill and say surprise me when they ask what you want....you can tell them if you like but it will never come out correctly. 2 out of the 4 items ordered were incorrect tonight. Yes it's fast food, same garbage in this one as there is in all the others. You don't go there for great food, you go there because it's quick and your on the move... except at this one you never know what the heck your gonna pull out of the bag. I'd like to give this place a big fat zero, zip, nothing, nadda, 000000, but I'm forced to...the manager at this location SUCKS and is rude and doesn't know how to manage. My pinkie has more talent than his whole personality!! We have to travel all the way to Prescott Valley now to get an ice cream because of being told to never go back to Chino Valley Sonic. They never get our order right and we've had to have things remade so after have our order was messed up x2 this visit, called to complain because we didn't want to drive all the way back so called to talk to this defensive, rude and irate manager and was yelled and and told to never come back there. Yes, 86'd from Chino Valley Sonic!! Who's ever heard of being 86'd from an ice cream place?!?! As a kid I used to come to this sonic when we go to go visit my grandmother usually on holidays. The first thing we would do as soon as we got into town will stop at the sonic which was right in front of her place. I remember when they had the peanut butter milkshake. I'm not going to lie I do miss it and I am sad that they do not have it anymore but I remember going there and getting a peanut butter milkshake with my family we would order for every single time. We are really thankful on this on it was put in because there was really nothing around grandma we will always have to drive a little further down the road. Now we can walk to this one. Always love sonic they didn't have it in California for a while so it was a treat to be able to visit out here. now they have one very close to where I live in California. The customer service is always been good he release inside then. And I've always appreciated the long hours so that I can go even late at night to go get something to eat. Every single time I go to this sonic I either order iced tea or a blast. Every single time my iced tea tastes like it's days old and my blasts are either not mixed well or have a displeasing texture. I hate that I spend as much money as I do there for it to be crappy. I'm there literally every day. Much prefer the sonic in Prescott Valley. They seem to care more. read more
