Always loved cracker barrell from the atmosphere, the store products, the meals and food etc. It's a good location and has a decent sized parking lot. It's also got good quality food and has all the pretty fun to find products you can't get elsewhere. When it comes to problems the only major problem is service. Sometimes they tend to seem to be understaffed at this location. Or the waiters may forget stuff or to ask if there is anything else you'd want. There were times mines and my brother's drink ran out and we never got refills. That and sometimes it took a while in order to pay and leave. But it can be hard when you're understaffed so they're not entirely at fault for that. Overall, good location and good food. read more

Came here two days ago for the first time. I've heard so many wonderful things about Cracker Barrel. I've never tried southern cooking until that trip. The service was great, they were very friendly and brought out the food very quick. The portions were actually very big and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared a sampler plate that had meatloaf, fried chicken, and chicken and dumplings. Which came with cornbread and biscuits. And we requested a side of apple butter, which was amazing with the biscuits. It's a cute little shop when you first enter filled with really cute things that are reasonably priced. We ended up getting two mugs from the shop as well. It wasn't very crowded, and the fact that even though they did have people inside at the tables, the servers were still very kind and refilled our waters constantly. Definitely found a new place I love! We will be coming back here for sure. read more

Cracker Barrel is our go to place for breakfast and sometimes dinner. On the 21st we went for a late breakfast. As usual the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly. We ordered and waited for our food for over an hour. I ordered the pancake breakfast and my wife ordered turkey/dressing meal. Whe the food arrived mine was fine, her whole meal was cold. My wife asked the waitress if she could have the cook make a hot meal for her. They microwaved it and brought it back. She told them she wanted a new plate. By that time I was finished and she didn't want anything. Nothing was done to make this right. Manager never came out. So I paid and left. Will probably not go back there again. read more

we went for a comfort food dinner. We shared the meatloaf. Our sides were mac & cheese and apple cinnimon. The atmosphere is typical CB. The meatloaf was awful. Meatloaf is hard to ruin. But this was really bad. The amount of filler added to the meat made it tasteless and a bit like eating cardboard. The Mac & Cheese had very little cheese. This also was tasteless. I have to admit I was surprised by the lack of quality. These 2 itmes are easy to make and serve. The CB is just around the corner from our place. Cracker Barrel is such a staple in the community. We went for dinner on Thanksgiving after being warned to not! Being told it will be horrible! THAT IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL! We were sat immediately (2 of us). Our server Gracelyn came right over and got our drink order. Our order was taken food came out nice and warm and was delicious. This was our family's second time eating at this particular Cracker Barrel, and it was amazing again! I had the Grandpa's Breakfast with Southern Chicken, and it was made so fresh! My kids all had eggs, bacon, and biscuits, and we all loved the biscuits and gravy! The waitresses were all nice and attentive, making our experience even better. My husband tried to walk me out of the restaurant without visiting the Country Shop, but there was no doing that--I ended up buying so many little knick-knacks. This is by far one of our family's favorite restaurants, and I'm not sure why this place doesn't have higher ratings. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been to three different Cracker Barrel locations in as many states from one coast to another. I am finding that they are all pretty much the same. A cookie cutter of a restaurant. At least in appearence. Of couse staffing will make a difference from one to another. Even food quality can vary slightly. My meal last night was quite good and probably the best I've had from any of the locations I've been to. I ordered the maple bacon glazed chicken. Something like that. Two season and grilled chicken breasts with a maple glaze, a couple of strips of bacon and a chipotle cream sauce. Maybe even some melty crispy cheese. Salty. Sweet. Delicious. I ate one piece of chicken at the restaurant and took other piece to eat for later. For my sides I got the greenbeans (also saved for later) and the hash brown casseral (ALWAYS). I ate all of the potatoes. They're too good to not eat in one sitting. I also ate the two biscuits that came out with my meal. Biscuits are better when they are fresh. Cold or reheated biscuits don't cut it. I am almost suprised and disappointed that the fire was not going last night at the Cracker Barrel. That is about they only thing that was different. And on a cold drizzly evening, I fully expected a fire. But it wasn't a huge deal. I wasn't even sitting near the fire. The food and service were good and that's all that matters. Decent experience overall with fun shopping at the entrance and restaurant on the backside! The dining experience left more to be desired unfortunately. First of all entering the restaurant from the street you see some wooden rocking chairs for sale on the patio. One even had twine backing and seat. They all looked pretty cool Secondly you enter a cool looking store with beautiful and fun items from the season for sale. Being the 1st day of November it was all Christmas. Awesome snow globes in all styles and sizes from churches to angels, snowmen, and everything between. Some other cool parafernalia like interesting Christmas ornaments, statues, and clothes. I also like their super large chocolate like the HUGE KitKat. My wife wouldn't let me buy it. She knows how I treat sweets Lol. The dining experience was a letdown though, why the 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. The price was decent for the experience at least. The waitress seemed troubled that we were taking time to decide, being we didn't know what we wanted right away. At least that's how she came off. Her face wasn't too happy throughout the whole experience, and she actually had the busboy serve our food instead, which was okay since he had a positive attitude and showed a big desire to help, making sure we were okay on a couple occasions. His face was uplifting and actions wanting to please. My wife got coffee, and I got water to start. There was no offer to top either the coffee or the water off throughout our whole time there. Also, the food took awhile to get to the table, longer than necessary. When we entered the restaurant, it was busy, but later on it emptied out. People had plenty of opportunity to get us our food quicker. Also, most of the food wasn't hot, just warm. The restaurant was kind of cold so the food cooled off quickly unfortunately. Also, my wife wanted her NY steak well done. It was medium rare instead, which is how I like it, so my wife gave me most of her steak, and I gave her some of my meatloaf. I would've talked to someone about it but didn't want to wait another long time for more food to come out. My wife never had meatloaf before being from Mexico, and she really liked it! My food was good though, just kind of cold after a short period of time We also had to ask for table settings. We couldn't eat our food without! Lol. Of course the busboy was quick about them once we asked. He also helped my wife get her spicy sauces. I didn't know what she was asking for myself. I feel he should get more of the tip than the waitress. Other than that everything was good. The ladies up front at the shop after we ate were super quick and super helpful. They helped make it a good experience again. My wife and I bought a cool church snow globe, and she got a nice pair of posh winter gloves. That's all I have to say for now. This place is the definition of "hit or miss." Granted, a hit isn't a homerun. Tonight was definitely a miss. Service was slow and lacking. My drink was never refilled. They were out of biscuits?! The entree we shared was fine, but not good enough to make up for the rest of the evening. With so many options and how rarely we eat out, it is highly unlikely we will return to this establishment. It would have gone a long way for some recognition of the missing biscuits or empty cups. Because we left having paid the same amount it would have cost us if things had been good. Food was mediocre at best - this place is like a Denny's with a retail store attached. They must be using bad seed oils - won't be back. I don't think I've ever had a half chicken meal anywhere that I walked away from feeling hungry. Not sure where they buy their "mini chickens" from - but they are very small. Pleasantly surprised by this place ! We don't have very many Cracker Barrel locations in the bay so we wanted to check it out. They are known for their all day breakfast. They have a huge variety of different foods and sides here. My favorite is under the seafood category - their grilled catfish. Super fresh, tender, and perfect blackened seasoning. It comes with 2 sides you can choose and a bread of your choice. We came on a Sunday during brunch time so it was expected that the wait time was super long (and longer than usual). We did a takeout order and waited about 30-35 minutes for it. You can walk in the gift shop area if you are trying to kill time. I think prices are pretty reasonable for what you're getting, but service could be pretty rushed and not the best. I'd return to try different dinner items. read more

Nothing spectacular stands out with this location. It was clean, inviting, large selection of knickknacks to roam through, the wait was almost instantly available for seating. Our sever was a young lady that was new so she had to ask another hostess to answer our questions but I don't fault her for that. We're all new at work at some point so that's a Day pass. Food was hot, seemed freshly cooked verses like asparagus was fresh as an example and food was cooked to my satisfaction as well as others. I do like this location as it's just down the road from where I live so it's a pretty frequent stop. 4 star only because I don't give 5's unless someone goes out of their way to ensure my tables satisfied and drinks kept full etc etc. read more

January 3, 2025...First, we want to make it clear our waitress, Grace, was fantastic...BUT the food and restaurant management were beyond substandard. We waited over 45 minutes for food, in an establishment that wasn't even half full of Friday night patrons, after the manager made excuses for the "new grill cooks" and assured us the food would come out hot! When he brought food out it was ice cold then tried to "give" us more food for our hassle, but who wants more crappy cold food? We left a tip for the waitress, who was incredible and felt horrible for her, and let management know we were not staying or paying for the poor quality of the food and horrible turn around time with their cooks. Note to all, first indicator should have been the lack of cars in the parking lot on a Friday evening where most establishments are packed with patrons! We went in on a Tuesday afternoon about 3:30. As expected, it was not busy and we were seated right away. The hostess was very nice but didn't smile at all! The waitress, Marylan, was very friendly and informative. She took our order and brought drinks right away. The tea was very good. We ordered eggs Benedict & chicken fried steak. Both were hot and well cooked. The fried okra was so yummy. Biscuits were hot & fresh and the apple butter to die for. We were in and out in just under an hour. These restaurants tend to be pretty noisy, but this was very reasonable. My husband didn't even have to adjust his hearing aid. I will go here again in a heartbeat. read more

They need to do better with their gluten free items. They don't have food items to pick from. You can add eggs by themselves (wow, that makes it fun to eat out, not). My wife has food allergies and she got the egg sandwich. It had stuffed hash browns with it. But since she can't eat onions we asked to just have the hash browns instead. They charged us .99 cents more for this. Why? It's the same potato that is made with the stuffed once but without the onions. So why pay more for an allergy. We paid since we had no choice. Never coming back sorry. They over tabled the waitress so she was running her bottom half off. But was not the kindest either. We came in to eat at 1130. Didn't get to order until 12:10. I decide to give them another opportunity so I ordered a meal to go upon arrival. It was not prepared yet so I waited 15 minutes later person from the back comes out swinging my togo order like it was a bag of marbles. She handed it to me so I proceeded to the desk to pay for it upon observing the contents of the bag. I noticed that the cornbread muffins were smash I asked the cashier to replace them she called the manager over and he said to me o you want new muffins. I am Chef / Restaurant Manager retired 45 years in the business ;when he said that I just walked away. This explains why 7:30 pm Sunday March 30 2025 only one person in the entire dining room in the restaurant . American our school system has failed us . Keep in mine the the General Manager is even worse (when Cracker Barrel move out here it was standing room only) They took a good Business and ran it to the ground and that cook he hate his job because ,easy food to prepare he turns into garbage.
