I come here often and usually enjoy it. We visited Sunday around 1:30 PM. It was calm with plenty of seating, but the inside was uncomfortably warm given the 100°F heat outside. The bartender, who also served us, was very friendly and provided great service. Unfortunately, the food fell short. The carne asada loaded fries had a strange A1 sauce flavor, the cheese wasn't fully melted, and there were only a few jalapeño poppers. Stopped here for lunch on a friend's recommendation and now I can say I've been here! It's a true whole in the wall and more of a local-looking bar/diner combo. They do have a full bar, a few booths, high top tables, and a couple of pool tables. The place was pretty busy (mostly at the bar) and continued to get busier as we sat down for a quick lunch. Overall, the location was clean and tidy... We ordered our food and though they do have a daily special, my husband opted for the meatloaf which comes with your choice of fries, mashed potatoes, or tater tots. He loves tater tots! As for me? Well I was told t they make a darn good burger, so that's what I ordered. I got fries for my side. Service was actually awesome. Our server was very friendly and the food came out quick. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as we had hoped it would be. My husband said his meatloaf was more like a chunk of ground beef and the gray was like a jelly texture. Not what he expected. My burger was also a bit disappointing. It was served dry (no sauce), yet the buns were very soggy, which truly grossed me out. It was definitely a good size patty, but it lacked flavor. The fries were okay. Anyway, we don't think we will be coming back. I gave it two stars because of the friendly service, otherwise it would be a one star. read more

Soooo, I don't have any pictures of our meals as everything looked so good, I forgot I We plan on going back for Taco Tuesday so I will take pictures then. I had the SB-1070 burger and fries! So yummy, fries hot and fresh, burger had green chiles, bacon, pepper jack cheese and pico. Cooked to perfection! Hubby had ground beef tacos which were PACKED with meat, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Came with side of sour cream and hot sauce. These tacos were huge and corn tortillas fried perfectly. Bartender/server lady was super nice and helpful and made a GREAT margarita! We pulled into Chino Valley at about 7:30pm. We checked into hotel and ran over to Lucy's for a quick bite. We ended up splitting a 16oz steak that was absolutely amazing! My husband didn't even use A-1 and he always does! We will absolutely go back. read more

And heads up, they ONLY TAKE CASH. however, they do have an ATM inside. And you are safe while using it. They also have a 0% alcohol Budweiser. And they have HH from 12-2 on weekdays. Bad Ass Pastrami Burger was amazing. Onion rings were delish. Per another reviewer...yes, the portion for the onion rings was admittedly on the slim side, but there's no way I could have eaten more. That burger was HUGE! The beer was cold (Shock Top-new to me) and tasty. Everyone was friendly and solicitous. Pretty low end bar to say the least. They claim best burgers, but they use liquid smoke to make them taste mediocre. They have cash only which is shady, generally don't have an itemized receipt. Overall shady establishment. The owner hangs out at the bar the entire time the bar is open. She's very rude and aggressive towards people in person and social media. I would steer clear. read more

Recently walked in with a couple of friends. Looking for what Lucy claimed was a great burger. After we waited about 5 minutes and no one bothered to acknowledge our presence, we looked around and left. Maybe it was the fact that we had all of our teeth, maybe we smelled weird, because we had taken a shower and put on deodorant. Maybe we looked like we gave more than a thought to our appearance. I don't know and I reckon I never will. As we left the person behind the bar, (couldn't have been the bartender, because the only thing she was tending to was her conversation with a rather rotund person near the door,) said with a sneer, "Thank y'all for coming in." Beer is cold! Great draft selection. Bathrooms were cleaner than some hospitals. You wouldn't think that by looking at the outside but it was a nice touch. Prices are high but they are big burgers. Food was decent but not affordable. The real issue was the music allowed to be played. Trying to eat with wife and listening to songs about sucking #ock and spreading legs. I'd give this place 5 plus stars but the burgers (taste, texture, cooked temperature, condiments, time to table) are never the same. Sometimes my burger is cooked to perfection and I savor every bite. Other times, its overcooked and missing condiments I asked for or, yikes, it has a sauce or cheese I didn't want. Same with the fries- sometimes hot, cooked and salted perfectly and other times they are lukewarm and soggy. It seems to depend upon who is in the kitchen. We would eat here more regularly if the food quality was a bit more consistent. That said, the servers are always excellent and the vibe is super chill. read more
