I was in the area and decided to stop by to get a wacky pack. Sonic is doing a collab with sanrio and friends. I thought i come here and try my luck. . Before walking in, I noticed its right next to arco gas. The parking spots to pick up is clean and big. The building was well lit and signage is great. The inside of the store was clean and organized. . Wacky pack order for me to go to is always a cheese burger with extra onions, no salt, with apple sauce and a diet dr. Pepper. The burger is usually good and temperature hot. . Walked in and Ridgo greeted with a friendly smile, with a warm welcome. It was a good vibe. Also he was patient to listen the customer request. Went out his way to go help search and double check for the customer request. Then came back and was informative with the pricing. It was a really good experience for this sonic for me. We came to the drive thru gave my name as I ordered through the Sonic app. Earning points an easy way to earn free food with each purchase in the app. When pulling past the speaker be sure to stay to the left as this driveway shares the same road as the car wash. Also when car wash is going it does make it hard to hear the cashier taking your order. No one else in line in front of us I went straight to the window. We ordered two slush drinks and one order of tater tots. 10 mins later we get our drinks 2 Cherry Flavored Bubble Slush and food. Alittle long of a wait for a the drive thru. I pulled away from the restaurant not realizing our Cherry slushes were Grape flavored. I thought at first the color difference was the bubble but it was not once we tasted them. Alittle disappointed as was looking forward to Cherry. Medium 20oz Cherry Flavored Blue Raspberry Slush Even though they gave me the wrong flavored slush it was pretty good. The raspberry bubble is very small and go through a regular straw just fine. There was a good amount of bubble in the cup which ment bubble in every slurp. Even after drinking entire cup I still have bubble left over in the ice left over. Yum! The tater tots since we had to wait for them they were fresh hot and crunchy. We were satisfied with our snack. When my throat was cold from drinking the slush, eating a warm tot was a great balance combination. Double yum! The menu had a ton of options: we went for a banana shake, tater tots, a burger, and onion rings.The prices were reasonable, but let's be real--not the healthiest choice.We placed our order at 9 PM and waited about 22 minutes, only to find out that our tater tots were missing. I had a disappointing experience at Sonic today. The employee named Tania who took my order seemed uninterested and came across as rude. I tried asking a simple question about the menu, but she answered with an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering her. My order also took longer than expected, and when I received it, she didn't apologize or acknowledge the wait. I placed a mobile order for a hat and a meal, and the app said my order would be ready by 7:33 PM. I arrived at 7:29 PM, parked in stall 5, and checked in right away. I ended up waiting 30 minutes with no updates. When they finally brought out the order, one of the meals was completely missing, and it took them another 15 minutes to bring the rest of it out. This was a really frustrating experience. If the app gives a pickup time, customers should be able to rely on it, and orders should be checked for accuracy before being brought out. read more

If you walk in and order be prepared to be met with a menu and order from the screen. Push the button and wait and wait. As I was walking out finally someone answered. Ordered a breakfast burrito and Texas toast chicken club meal. Husband said burrito was tasty. Chicken club didn't really have any flavor or chicken. The chicken Patty barely had chicken in it!!!! Lettuce was soggy, wilted, and some of it brown. The crinkle fries are good, I think they're battered. They were crunchy and didn't have too much salt. I like that. The inside is very sterile and uninviting. No soda machine so no refills. Plus large soda is almost $5 and next door at ampm I can get a large Coke Zero for $0.89. By far the worst experiences at sonic. I pre-ordered on the application and pulled up to their spots and after 10 minutes they said someone (can't remember their name) was on the way. 20 minutes after this they finally show up with the order. I gave them another chance after a couple months tonight, and I my wife ordered a tea, which they were all out of. He said I needed to get a refund on the application but there is no way to do so on there. My strawberry slushie was also not a slushie and was more like a Shirley Temple with crushed ice. They really need to fix this location or they are going to continue to give the brand a terrible image. Drive the 20 minutes to Roseville to get better food and service. read more

I am hoping that I can revise this review shortly but so far in the short time that this location has been open, its pretty frustrating. I will start with the good and what gave this review an extra star. The folks working there that I have dealt with, mostly younger folks have all been pleasant and very nice and friendly. The bad? It takes FOREVER to get your order. I have been here multiple times and have waited any where from 28-48 minutes to get my order from the time I pulled up in the drive through. Each time there has not been more than 2 cars in front of me. Not sure what the hold up in making fast food, but this HAS to improve or they will not be around long which I would be very sad at. Each time they are out of one of the flavors that I was hoping for and drink carriers. I showed up to this Sonic location, brand new, just opened and frankly, it was a disaster. A total mess. You wouldn't believe it. We pull up and there's ONE car ahead of us. One! Should be easy, right? Wrong. We sit there for about 15 minutes just to get to the intercom. Nobody moving, nobody talking, nothing. Finally we get to the intercom and the employee tells us to wait. Okay, fine, we're patient people. Then he tells us to pull up to the window. So we do. And we wait... and wait... and wait. Thirty minutes total before we even speak to an employee. Thirty minutes! For fast food. Incredible. Then it gets worse. The guy who told us to pull forward suddenly pretends he never said it when the manager comes over. Just flat-out denies it. The manager, Ethan, who clearly looks like some kind of shift manager, not a real manager, tells us the only solution is for us to go back to the back of the line... after four other cars had already pulled in behind us. Think about that. We waited half an hour because of their mistake, and their brilliant solution was "start over." Amazing customer service, really tremendous, if you're trying to lose customers. Ethan shouldn't be managing anything. The guy taking orders, clearly his buddy, was dishonest and completely unprofessional. Both of them should be fired. The place just opened and it's already completely screwed up. If this is how they run things now, I can't imagine how bad it'll be in a few months. Terrible experience. Avoid this Sonic. Absolutely awful! Bad service and disgusting food. This is a brand new restaurant, and the food was inedible. All the fried sides we ordered (fries, onion rings, tots) tasted like artificial caramel, and they literally smelled like funnel cakes and were actually sweet tasting. Also, the order was wrong. We ordered 1 order of fries, 1 order of onion rings, and 1 order of tots. We got 6 fries. Not 6 orders of fries, 6 individual fries, two mostly-full tot orders, and some burnt onion rings tossed loose into the bag. 1 empty fry container, and 1 empty onion ring container that were both under one of the burgers,but on top of another unwrapped burger. My burger was a disaster with a hard, burnt ring around the outside of the patties, burnt bacon that was hard as a rock, slimy lettuce, mushy tomato, and drowned in mayo to the point that the bottom bun disintegrated when I picked it up. The burger wasn't even wrapped correctly and was just tossed sideways into the bag, and ended up unwrapped with all the other food thrown loose at the bottom, and the fry and onion ring containers on top of the unwrapped burger. How the items were placed into the bag seemed deliberate, like the person was angry, so they threw the food in the bag as hard as they could. Also, the service was terrible. While we were ordering, the cashier kept stopping mid-sentence to talk to a coworker, and we had to keep restarting the order because they kept messing it up. The same thing happened while handing us our order, the cashier was distracted by their coworker, who didn't seem to care that they were helping a customer. The cashier was obviously frustrated and annoyed, which made the whole experience unpleasant. I am guessing someone literally threw our order into a bag because they were also frustrated by this person. What a horrible place! We tried the food, but ultimately ended up throwing it away. It was $35 worth of food, but it was late, and I couldn't even imagine taking the food back to the restaurant and dealing with the kind of people who would do this. I'm extremely allergic to peanuts (you assume risk when eating out) but nowhere on the sit lists peanuts in the blast I ordered. This was not only extremely disappointing when I got home but extremely dangerous. If they made any substitutions or additions I should have been made aware. This is a new restaurant and on our first visit, we ate inside and were underwhelmed. I ordered the footlong hotdog, mozzarella sticks and a water. The hotdog was OK, but a mess, with the chili, and I had to ask for napkins. The mozzarella sticks were hard from overcooking and they charged me 69 cents for a small water cup. Ridiculous! The restaurant has been open for a few weeks, so this is not a new crew, still learning how to cook; it is either a lack of management interest or management incompetence or both. We went back a few days later and ordered chicken strips and onion rings. I don't know what was inside the onion rings. They were so hard as to be nearly impossible to eat. To management: there are some serious issues at this restaurant. Holy moly, how do I start, I mean, I don't expect much being a fast food restaurant. This is actually the kind of etiquette you would expect from a place like sonic, Burger King, any kind of fast food place along the lines of what sonic is. Came in with my parents on Monday and my parents are elderly so they didn't understand the concept but we parked. We ordered food and we literally waited for that food 45 minutes 45 minutes of waiting for fast food. My dad ordered a cheeseburger my mom ordered a chicken sandwich. I ordered a cherry limeade and some tater tots and it literally took almost an hour to get. When we did get our food that we had to literally get out of the car walk to the dining room, which was a mess and ask what the heck where's our food! They forgot about it, presented it to us apologized, but our food was cold! Fries were limp and soggy. The tater tots were soggy, and everything was just sitting, literally sitting off to the side. They forgot to run it out to our spot. Apparently, they got orders mixed up? Was their excuse, but everybody who came before us or after us had come and gone, and we were literally still sitting there. With the exception of three others who came in at the exact same time we did, they also were waiting for their food that day literally over an hour 135 minutes the other 45 minutes alongside us. So between the four different parties, including us included, that is ridiculous! The inside dining area is a mess. It look like nobody had cleaned it in quite a while! Very disappointed with this new location I know it just opened up and it was really kind of nice to have something closer than driving all the way to Roseville. But! The food was good and we got what we ordered. I understand new restaurants first weeks. It takes time for a new restaurant to get to where it hums along. While it wasn't as fast this visit as I'm sure it will be in the future, the wait wasn't so bad. People who expect perfection from a brand new restaurant have unrealistic expectations. New crew of people learning to work together. Troubleshooting equipment issues for the first time, and a large flow of business all at once can create waits that are longer than they normally will be. We waited for about a month after Sonic opened. We went inside & stood there 20 minutes in front of a machine with someone in front of us. No one ever came out. The people in front of us never got to order, so we decided to go park in one of the lanes, but no one ever took our order so we left. I have been to this location 4 times and every single time the wait was INSANE. Even when it appears that there is no wait, I have had to wait and I am not talking about a few minutes, im not talking about 10 or 15 minutes, I am talking about 30-60 minutes... for small orders like a burger, fries and a couple drinks... in some cases, just drinks! It seems like they only have 1 person running the show over there. I could hear the same kid, who delivers the food is also answering the speaker in the stalls to take orders. I was there for over an hour yesterday and for the entire time, I only saw 1 single worker - Jaydon. And even though he was busting hiss B*** trying to serve and take care of everyone, it simply wasn't enough- and no fault to him because that kid was trying his best and kept a smile on his face while doing so, but management really needs to get some more people working. The food is great, the menu is great but I can't keep wasting time waiting a ridiculous amount just for a drink and fries. I visited the new Sonic in Antelope on 9/20/25, and it was a terrible experience. I went through the drive-through with my baby (1 year old) and young son after soccer practice. The line stretched through the gas station, and I followed the cones as directed, making sure to keep space for cars to pass. Once in line, I realized there was no way to turn around or leave. It took over 30 minutes just to reach the intercom and another 30 minutes to pay and get food--more than an hour stuck in the drive-through. This is completely unacceptable. During this time, my baby became so upset from crying that I had to climb into the backseat to change her, and she ended up throwing up on herself. My son was starving after soccer, and what was supposed to be a quick treat turned into a nightmare. When I finally got close to the window, I asked to speak with someone. A manager (long hair, mustache) explained it was their third day being open and said they would "do better next time," but I never received an apology or any effort to make the situation right. Nothing was comped, and no offer was made for a future visit. I left feeling frustrated, upset, and shaken. This experience ruined our day, and I will not be returning.
