They were able to accommodate a large order of 18 drinks on short notice, which I really appreciated. They also had adorable boba keychains that I picked up for my team, which was a fun bonus. The staff was so excited that I didn't get to take a pic of the 18 drinks We ended up going back for two more drinks, and one of the staff members kindly included an extra drink for my team to bring back for me to try, it was so good Overall, I'm really impressed with the service and experience. Be careful! I was here yesterday for the first time. I commented to the woman working behind the counter that the lychee milk tea sounded good but as I am lactose intolerant I wouldn't be able to drink it. I was then assured by the woman that the tea was non dairy, that they used a non dairy "powder" to make the drink. I had no reason not to trust her. Ten hours later, in the middle of the night, I woke up with horrible abdominal pain, headache and all the symptoms that I get if I inadvertently ingest dairy. I don't know if the woman was desperate to make a sale- we were the only customers there- or if she is truly ignorant of the ingredients in the items she sells-but rest assured I will not be returning to her shop. read more

I stopped by on my way home and got the signature milk tea 50% sweet, 25% ice. I thought the signature milk tea had a pretty strong tea taste to it, and I think I might have preferred the drink to be 100% sweet instead. I still enjoyed it though. I'm not sure what kind of tea base they used, but I don't think it was black tea which is seems to be the default for the house special drinks. The boba was perfectly chewy, although I wished it was sweetened. I don't think this drink was particularly special, although I would recommend getting it at full sweetness. The shop is very spacious and cute. I think it would be a perfect place to study in a post-COVID-19 world, especially since they have so many outlets. Service was very friendly and accommodating! My friend and I came in yesterday to order 2 drinks: signature milk tea (3/5) and passion fruit tea (3.5/5). I brought the sweetness of my tea down to 75% and I think that level was fine! However I think the milk:tea ratio was a little off as the flavor of the tea felt really diluted. Maybe that was because I brought down the sweetness? But then I wouldn't want to drink extra sugar to make up for the lack of tea flavor :( My friend got the passion fruit tea; he said he liked the real seeds and fruit bits in it but his tea flavor also wasn't that strong. I thought their 10% off deal if you come in with their merch is a really cute idea! It looks like a fun place to hang out and eat once everything reopens too. Boba, boba, bobaaaaa... Saw this place driving out of big lot. The bf wants a drink, so we decided to stop by and try their Thai tea and peach tea. If you like intense Thai tea this isn't it, but it's pretty good. The peach tea is refreshing, just ask for less ice. Several sips and you're done, so ask for less ice. The interior is welcoming. There's an aquarium in the inner portion of the seating area. Maybe not as many selection as T4 but they have Gunther ice cream! Gunthers good! I've been stoked to try this place out since my husband pointed it out to me. We just saw that it's been open for a little while and I had my husband make a run to pick up some food and drinks. It's nice that they have a coffee option for my non-tea drinking husband and I resorted to the jasmine tea as the rose garden is apparently decaf and would be too tart if ordered less sweet? I thought it would have been rose green tea or something. They also asked if I wanted cheese on the salad, which was kind of odd, but when my husband got home with everything I could see why...they didn't have the avocado that was listed in the ingredients. I was pretty bummed about that since it was a $7 salad without meat. I wish they would have said they were out at least. The salad was otherwise good with the blood orange shallot dressing. Jasmine milk tea- my go to at every new place was pretty good and my husband's sandwich was also on point. Don't let the Americanized sandwich names like pastrami, ham/turkey etc deter you. They sound like your average sandwich you find anywhere, but they're all banh mi style. Aside from the kinks, this place is really impressive, the food and drinks are great and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Everything is pretty authentic and unique. Tea It happened to pop up on my daughter's Yelp as a "Hot New Place" so we decided to check it out the next morning. We walked in & were greeted by two super friendly employees. The place is rather large with lots of seating. There's a fish tank, a tv, tons of board games & the cutest picture wall!!!!! We ordered the strawberry milk tea, matcha milk tea with boba, coffee milk tea with boba & cheese crema and Thai green tea with boba. They offered to bring us our drinks when they were ready. Stopped by during my lunch because I was craving boba and the service was impeccable! Although it just looks like a small little boba joint from the outside, it is actually very cute and personable on the the inside. I got my boba fix quick and didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes (which is a hugeeee plus for me cus ya girl is busy and got thangs to do Hahaha jk) But the drink itself tasted amazing, it def wasn't too sweet or milky and thats how I like my milkteas. It's not located in the best plaza but the inside is pretty nice. Love the pop of green decor. Lots of nature and floral vibes inside. They have a pretty large drink menu that consists of milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, and smoothies. They also serve Gunther's ice cream which I definitely need to try next time. I got the Signature Milk Tea with Boba and it was perfect! Boba was soft and chewy just the way I like. The Milk Tea had a nice brown sugar taste to it and wasn't too sweet. After driving around for about an hour because the two bubble tea places we tried to visit were closed early for some reason, we ended up here at Tea It! We ordered the passion fruit slushie with boba, and the 50/50 fruit freeze which had mango freeze on top, vanilla ice cream in the middle, and pineapple freeze at the bottom. I really loved the 50/50 freeze the most! The fruit freezes were super refreshing, and the flavors were really bold and it tasted a lot like real fruit, just in an ice form! I've heard that Gunthers ice cream was really popular, and there happened to be Gunthers vanilla ice cream in the freeze as well. My first impression of the ice cream was pretty good. It was very creamy, but I couldn't really taste the vanilla in the ice cream. It did pair very well with the two different freezes and made a perfect and refreshing, creamy, rich bite! However, I wasn't a huge fan of my drink because I really wasn't into the bits of passion fruit seeds, and they are really crunchy and slightly sour. The boba was also slightly undercooked, and some of the boba were really hard, but some were perfectly fine. The slush itself was very tasty and refreshing though! Overall, this place was really nice, and I'm just happy they were open because we drove an hour to find a place that was open! Lately I've seen a few milk tea places opened up in Roseville/Citrus Heights area and Tea It is one of them. I passed by here a few times and finally it was time to give it a try. Me, wifey and kids came along. Menu is straight forward - plain and simple. I ordered the coffee smoothie and it was excellent. Wifey had Taro Smoothie and that was excellent. I was looking for a boba spot near my new job, and stumbled upon Tea It! Saw the 4.5 stars, and figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the Thai Tea with boba and lychee jelly, and also the Black Sugar Milk Tea with boba (as suggested by the barista). Not able to adjust ice or sweetness on the Thai Tea - not dissimilar to other boba places. Can't comment on the taste though (ordered for my bf). Black sugar milk tea was the perfect balance of tea flavor and sweetness. I got 25% ice and 75% sweetness. I love tea flavor - hate when milk tea just tastes like milk and sugar. So 10/10 on that. Cute cup design. Bonus points. Not many people were here - it's a Thursday night. Parking was good - got a spot right in front. Nice atmosphere, good music. It's a really good size with many seating options and MULTIPLE electric and USB plugs. Their bathroom is super cute too! Staff here are all super kind. Amy is usually at the register and she will remember your name if you are a returning customer. I've heard her greet all returning customers by their names and that personal experience is exactly why I come back. Each of the ladies come out to sweep the floors and wipe the tables and chairs very periodically. Everything is kept incredibly clean in here! The menu: SIMPLE. There's a small sandwich menu and they serve Gunther's ice-cream (including the 50/50 yum). They offer a small menu of milk teas and smoothies. Just enough in my opinion! 1. Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Egg Pudding - yum! I like to start with the brown sugar anywhere I go. Tea It makes this drink to the tee. Not much sweetness and not too bland. 2. Signature Milk Tea tastes like it is an oolong based tea. I personally like it better than their Brown Sugar. I got this one with boba and unfortunately it is not to my liking. It tasted a bit hard when biting into it. 3. Jasmine Milk Tea with egg pudding - such a unique taste to this. Sweet but bitter but sweet and milky? More of a milky taste versus tea. I truly enjoyed this drink with the egg pudding. I noticed a lot of customers ordered Thai Tea and strawberry smoothies! PASTRAMI SANDWICH - YUM! Checked them out the first Saturday they were open. Wow! I am impressed with the sitting space. It's well-lit, tastefully colorful, and there are wall outlets with USB ports everywhere -- it feels like a place that wants you to hang out at. They also have a small shelf with board games on it in case that suits your fancy. Lots of two-seat tables. It doesn't feel cramped. And lots of standing room when there's a line. Something that strikes me about this place is the relatively short menu compared with other more traditional boba tea places. I don't see this as a bad thing. They have the essentials to start with and they could always add more, but I like the simplicity. Also, apparently they make sandwiches. But this is a boba place, so we got boba. One plus is that the shop doesn't smell like deep fried food, which is usually what other boba places smell like. I got a taro smoothie. Which was great considering the 100 degree weather today. My wife got a Thai tea with the boba. And that was predictably delicious. 5 stars because not only does Citrus Heights have a boba tea shop now, but it's also very good and in a relatively convenient location. read more
