The employees at this location are very rude. I was conversing to the one making my ice cream to make sure to make it well stuffed, the other guy jumped in and said it's going to cost you more for additional topping. I was trying to explain him, I am not asking additional topic and he started saying "don't take it if you don't want, I don't want to sell you" and started pushing the other guy. I said to him, I am not talking to you just shut up and then he responded with you shut up and he kept repeating for 5 times and then he kept on saying, if you don't want don't take and leave. eventually, I ended up leaving without ice cream. read more

Oh man Cold Stone use to be my high school go-to ice cream shop. Mixing in toppings was like the coolest (haha...) thing ever! Unfortunately it seems like their shops have taken a bit of a business drop given Rolled ice cream has become so popular as of lately. Anyways, I have been to this location twice now. Most recently, I went and got a Cookie Dough signature ice cream creation, and it was really good! Loved their cookie dough with chocolate fudge and caramel. I am glad I got the Like it size over the Love it, because I was definitely full at the end. I can't believe I use to get Gotta Have it (their largest size) regularly in high school! Plenty of parking available, and they are located in south New Brighton area. Horrible customer service. The first time I came here, the employee had an attitude for whatever reason and was very rude. The second time I came here, the employees completely disregarded my friend and I blatantly while serving other customers. Unsure if it was intentional or not but we were definitely in line and waiting to be addressed but instead the employee talked to the white customers that just came in. It's a nice little spot in Saint Anthony village, very pleasant and kind workers, as well as good prices to boot. It can be a bit cramped inside due to the amount of people inside, not to mention the COVID-19 restrictions. Good ice cream, good toppings, good ice cream cakes. Have been to this Cold Stone a number of times and it's good place to grab some ice cream. Not sure how else to describe it but it's a Cold Stone. If you have been to one before... it's just like the others. If not, you choose your ice cream and your add-ins and they hand mix them on a cold stone. I happen to like the Oreo overload but depending on your tastes there are lots of different options available. The place is usually staffed by high school or college kids but I've always had pretty decent service here. It can get busy at times but very seldom have I had to wait very long. It's 7:28pm I just left getting my Ice cream. There was 4 teenagers working. Usually I've only seen 2 employees working. There was only one girl actually working. The two boys were doing nothing what's so ever they were pretending to work. Then there was this completely rude girl in black and red broads with charms in her hair. When the only girl who was actually working was busy with the gentleman in front of us. She asked the girl with the braid if she can help us. And the girl from the back called out "I don't can I" the working girl asks again. The girl in the braids go "Can I help them? Or will I help them?" Like why does she need to be unnecessarily rude. Very disappointing visit today. We have been coming here for several years and we usually get the same type of "creations" wirh specific mix-ins that we like. This store must be under new ownership, because they have removed our favorite mix-in, black cherries, from their selections. I decided to try a shake today and without black cherries to add in, I just couldn't get the right flavor combination. My wife was also very disappointed about missing out on the black cherries. There aren't very many ice cream shops that offer this type of flavor creation, so I'm not sure what we will do going forward. I asked the employee serving us to please tell the owner to bring back the black cherries. They do have very fresh nuts here though, to give a little positive feedback. A guy that works here named Napolean is awesome and deserves 100 stars. But when reviewing this place as a whole, the service is really bad (except from Napolean). Most of the time there is something wrong that goes down. Once they were out of chocolate ice cream. Another time they were out of waffle cones, another time they were out of berries. There have been times when the worker had made too much ice cream on the table (where they mix in your topping) and the mixture was too much to fit into the cup, and when realizing it was to much, they have put the left over ice cream in the garbage, rather than putting it in a small cup to serve. This happens a lot, actually. Once I went in shortly after they opened for the day and the gal working was complaining to me about the "kids" that closed the night before were careless and did not do everything that was expected. umm, might not want to share that with costumers. After so many bad expierences, we wrote to corporate. It almost seemed like this place didn't even have a manager. We didn't expect to get anything out of it, just to let them know what was going on at this place. We then got a BOGO coupon in the mail. Not sure if Napolean is a manager (he should be!) but ever since he started working here things have drastically changed. The service is fast, they don't ever seem short on any flavor, the place is clean, people seem happy. No one has put ice cream in the garbage. He is awesome. (We do not know one another personally). The last two times we've been to this location they've been out of all of the flavors I wanted. Most recently we came at 4:30pm on a Sunday (when it was 80 degrees out... prime ice cream weather) and they were completely out of six flavors, including strawberry, sweet cream, and cake batter. The employees are always really nice about it, but still... what's the point in coming when I can never get what I actually want? The manager here really needs to step up and figure out how to stock this store so customers aren't constantly disappointed. read more

My friend and I decided to stop after work for some cold stone ice cream which we hadn't had in months we walked into the store and it asked for waffle cones would show on every picture on the window the person on the other end of the counter says we don't have waffle cones so I point to some waffle cones that have dip on them and I said what are these and he said those are dipped waffle cones on the sign it said if you do Pokémon go and you collect or catch a Pokémon character you get a free ice cream so I catch it and then hold it up to him and he states that it has to be done before the order is completed my order hadn't been paid for yet I said where does it state that and he said in the FinePrint our manager said that I said that's still wrong he shrugged and said oh well there was a hiring sign on the door the customer service that was given there was absolutely horrible and we will go out of our way next time to go to another place where we would be greeted and helped and a nice friendly manner the guy behind the counter had no personality and acted like he wished we weren't there The floor is the one we walked in where sticky there was no napkins in the napkin holder when asked for a spoon he rolled his eyes he leaned over while I was signing the credit card slip to see if I put a tip on there so I did not put one and cannot believe the customer service that was showing there I will pass it onto friends and family not to go to that location naughty naughty cold Stone creamery I would guess you would be able to hire better than what was behind the counter and he handled the money with the same hands that he used to scoop the ice cream with and never washed his hands from one to the other read more
