From there they can blend sodas, add flavored creams and syrups, and produce drinks that will bring you back to your childhood. A mix of their Chocolate Cream soda and regular cream tasted like the Chocolate Egg Creams I grew up on in NJ. Now run by third-generation owners, it expanded to retailing fine wine and cheeses as well. I stopped in to buy some house gifts, and was pleasantly surprised by its very large selection of products, displayed in a way that it was enjoyable to do some 'window shopping'. In my case, I focused on the whiskey's and found what I was hoping for (from the Nikka distillery, a place I had visited a long time ago). But surprisingly it carried American made whiskey (in this case, from the Seattle area) for a price that was lower than what I had paid when actually visiting the distillery itself. I took the time to walk around a bit, noticing that they had an entire section devoted to just German and Austria wines. (Would have been shocked to find wines from Luxembourg, which is on my list). There were also a large beer refrigerated room, as big as any I've seen at big retailers. Of course, it had the beers from the Midwest that are hard to find where I live now (Leinenkugel, Hamm's, and Zywiec). Also noticed a small display of cigars, protected behind locked glass. Ended up getting two Westland Single Malt 750ml for $56.99 each. Checkout was identical to any large liquor store chain (like a grocery store checkout with employees who do checkout and are not really knowledgeable about the products sold).

I ended up going with his recommendation and it was a big hit at the party. I also come here specifically for THC drinks since they have a huge variety. Pricing is a little high, but that seems pretty standard everywhere for this kind of stuff, so it is not surprising. I have had a couple moments where workers at the tasting stations came off a bit off putting, but that has been outweighed by the other staff who are much more engaged and helpful. They have a solid selection of beer, wine, spirits, non-alcoholic options, and even THC products. I let them know I was looking for sake, they immediately directed me to the room temp sake shelf, and also pointed out the refrigerated sake. The staff member asked if I had any questions or needed anything else which was appreciated. I let them know I was just looking for a simple, basic, lower cost one and she pointed out a couple. I grabbed a couple other items in addition to the sake on the way out and was pleased with all. I really appreciated the helpful staff and kindness. The store was clean, organized, and stocked. In addition to the sake, I saw many items stocked that you don't find at evert liquor store which is always nice! Will return - this may be my go-to, local liquor store?!
