Honestly it was my second time there yesterday and it's about 20 minutes from my house but I wanted them so I ordered on the app and drove up there. Waited about 10 minutes and got my food and left. When I got home I opened it up and saw I got a 3 piece tender meal instead of the 5 I ordered and so I tried calling but kept getting "User is Busy" so I called the number on the receipt which belongs to the general manager and she didn't answer and I left my name, number, what happened and my receipt number. This is the worst Sonic I've ever gone to! I've given them more chances than I should have. The food takes extremely too long to come out and servers can be seen bs-ing and socializing instead of working. The last and final time I went, I waited 25 minutes for my food and once I finally received it they told me their card machine was down and they were only accepting cash. This is the worst Sonic I've been to. I only stop here because its on my way home. They ALWAYS steal my change when often times I'd leave it for them anyways. Today just totally upset me. I'm 6 months pregnant craving a nerds slushie and I get a slushie with no nerds. This was extremely upsetting to me I pulled away thinking maybe all the nerds were at the bottom but nope... One of the poorest sonics I have ever been in. How do you run out of mustard at a restaurant? Tough to chew corn dogs.

Driving through and the experience was so bad I had to leave a review. We were here for almost an hour and a half waiting on food. We had a few different orders and food just kind of trickled out. The biggest complaint was we ordered two orders of shakes. The first order was 4 shakes, the second 2 shakes, with the orders placed about ten minutes apart. We waited and waited on the shakes. Finally some came out, but it was the second order. Then a chick came out and was basically like "Oh we didn't enter the first shakes, what were they again?" And wrote them down. Then we had to wait ANOTHER ten minutes on those! Very disappointing. We were also told they didn't carry minis when it says on the sign "minis". The slushy machine was also broken, AND they only have one bathroom for both sexes. So in other words, don't go here if you a) need to be somewhere in a reasonable time frame, b) want to use a decent bathroom, or c) want something in particular because they probably won't have it. read more

First,I ordered ahead through the sonic app and still had to wait 15 minutes for my order. Second, I got the order and it was not what I ordered. Third,The fries were cold and I Then waited another 8 minutes for the order to be corrected (meanwhile my burgers are in the car getting cold). Fourth, A young lady (who states she is the manager ) returned with the rest of my order , I then asked about the overcharge from the app and she replied there was nothing she could do about the overcharge but give me a coupon because sometimes the app works well and sometimes it does not. After a brief conversation she walks off yanks the door open to the store and replies " Man I'm tired of this Sh--t", and returns with a coupon. This is my second time at this location and I will never return. The service is beyond slow. Sat at the drive through for 10 minutes with no response. Moved to a box and was helped immediately. After being helped I felt better but didn't receive my 2 slushes for another 30 minutes. I would of left because of the wait but I had paid at the drive in. I did not receive an apologist for the wait or anything. Save time and hassle and go elsewhere. The douglasville location is a waste of time. read more

The Douglasville Sonic is one of the worst Sonics I have ever been too!The service is slow and terrible, no hustle, and half of the time there speakers don't even work. The customer service here is TERRIBLE! 9/29/17 Forget that I ordered the large onion rings. The point is I paid for a large therefore that's what I should get. Instead the manager thought it was ok to tell me that the only difference was 3 rings. Well sir I would like those 3 extra rings because I PAID for them. He smiled and went inside to get them. He later came out to tell me I got the last batch of onion rings and that they ran out. Mind you this was at 12 noon by the way. With that being said there's plenty of other places on GA-5 I'll take my business elsewhere. The worst thing a business can do is lose its local customers. Saturday night, on the prowl for a cold tasty treat. Wifey was thinking a banana split. Going through the drive-through, my wife asks the female if they had any banana splits. The order speaker sputters out "Do you see it on the menu?" Besides the rude surprise, my wife kindly rebuttals with "I do not, that is why I'm asking." After an awkward pause from the speaker and an ignore of another item we wanted, we drive off. Most comical part might you ask? After slowly rolling away, the order speaker sputters "Did you want anything else?!" Needless to say, an unfortunate rat crawled up that employee and died twice. Nope. Nope. Nope. I went here on two separate occasions and both times there was hair in the food. If you want over priced, sloppily made food with the real possibility of also getting a few human hairs in your lunch then this is for sure your place. If these things do not appeal to you I would say try a different restaurant. read more

Sonic in Douglasville, GA is just not like it use to be - the customer service sucks and that is putting it lightly - we placed our order simple as it was and it was still messed up - we had to go over our order twice - and they still messed it up - we ordered shakes in place of our drinks and when we got them they were all sour - then when we presented out concerns to the representative he proceeds to tell us that the ice cream has been sitting under the machine and could have went bad - then we were missing a sandwich and tater tots and they charged us for their mess up - this is poor customer service and the value of our meal was not worth it - we will not come back - and the 1 star I gave is to much credit read more

Never go to this location. Service is terrible. Only takes 2 cars in front of you and your looking at a half hour wait. They brought my food out 5 times but went to the cars behind me. Finally just drove off mad. Highly recommend you avoid this location like the plague. read more
