Cheesy Broc. Tots -Tasty but more cheese please, maybe on top?

It's Back!! Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich just returned to the menu today! They said they have made some changes to their menu and bringing this back to their menu is one. I have missed this sandwich for years so I was shocked when I saw it! Tasted great, I would ask for a little more mayo. They said there's no more chicken dinner, updated their candies, and don't offer the cinnasnacks anymore. I hope they make this a permanent item bc I don't know any other place that sells a CFS sandwich and I don't always want to have to go a sit down restaurant to satisfy my craving. I'd also love if they offered an option for white gravy on top or steak finger basket! That would be awesome.

While sitting at THIS sonic last night, waiting for my Chicago-style hot dog, onion rings and Strawberry Limeade to arrive, I tried to find this location to check in and could not find it. I knew it was here because I was sitting at it. In fact I even recalled seeing a review for it. It was not until I got home that I realized Yelp has the old address. Even Nikki's review is for the new address, which is 1155 Highway 377 East. So why do I like this Sonic: As a quick fix, especially late on a Sunday night, this is THE place in Granbury. I've become a big fan of Sonic's Chicago-style hot dogs, and I'll tell you, you can't beat the price ($1.99). No, it's not Vienna beef, but to buy a real Vienna Beef Hot Dog in the Metroplex is going to set you back at least $5. So for the price, I think this is a GREAT substitute. I like the onion rings too, and the Limeades (I always order mine "light on the ice") can't be beat. They are an even better deal at Happy Hour (everyday from 2PM to 4PM) when most drinks (i.e. non-ice cream) are half-price. Such a deal... So I was always a sucker for Happy Hour, but now I'm complimenting my limeade with a hot dog too. Nice work Sonic!

I took my daughter to Sonic for a root beer float and there was a WHOLE PLASTIC BAG in her cup!!!!! Tell me how this can happen!

There is no sausage in it at all then I opened the one with jalapeños to see if there was sausage and there was no sausage in it. I called the store and asked if it was supposed to have sausage. I thought maybe I was wrong and they said yes and so then I told them that my burritos neither one had sausage in them and they told me to come in and they would replace them next time I was in the area so I went to the doctor then went back by there. They replaced my burritos only this time They made them super small. I ended up tearing half the tortilla off and eating it like a taco. While I appreciate them replacing the burritos, I do think they should have replaced them the an actual grande burrito and not a taco.

My go to favorites right now are the Chicken Strip Dinner and the Sweet and Spicy Gouda Burger, which is effectively a modified Sweet and Spicy bacon burger from Whataburger but made with fresh patties instead of a frozen ones. On top of all that, their ice cream is as good as ever, from the simple vanilla to the new Mexican flavors they have. It's a crying shame there isn't one in Stephenville, I sure could use something from Braum's every now and then while I study.

Decent Lakeside Convenience Stop, But Food Is Just Okay…read moreStumpy's is one of the only two spots right on the lake in Granbury for a quick bite, so it definitely serves a purpose. I stopped in for something fast and ended up with the typical deep-fried fare. I'm not particularly fond of the food -- everything tastes like it's been fried to death -- but if you're craving classic lake snacks, it gets the job done. I'm sure they have healthier options on the menu, but I didn't notice anything that stood out. Portions are generous, which is both a blessing and a curse. On the plus side, you don't have to feel wasteful if you don't finish your plate -- just walk it over to the seawall and the trained catfish and carp will happily clean up whatever you drop in the water. That's honestly one of the most entertaining parts of the visit. The location is convenient: you can shop for overpriced swimsuits and lake-appropriate apparel while you're there, and it's a solid place to stop for gas. They still sell ethanol-free fuel, which is a big win for boaters and anyone who cares about their engine. Overall, it's not a destination for great food, but it's reliable for quick, no-fuss lakeside eats and extras. Three stars feels about right.

Absolutely Outstanding German Fare, another A+ Granbury Gem!…read moreWe keep coming back to Ketzler's Schnitzel Haus & Biergarten and it never disappoints! For lunch, the Reuben sandwich is hands-down one of the best I've ever had. The corned beef is incredibly tender (they pressure-cook it for hours), piled high on perfect rye with just the right amount of sauerkraut, Swiss, and dressing. It's huge and flavorful, definitely order it! For dinner, we love the Oma's Meatballs served over spätzle and topped with that rich Jäger gravy. So comforting, hearty, and packed with flavor. We've also tried their short ribs during a special brunch offering and they were fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious. Everything we've ordered--whether schnitzel, brats, pretzels, or sides has been excellent. The atmosphere is so fun and immersive with the German decor, great beer selection, and friendly service every time. We've brought friends, family, and out-of-town company here multiple times, and everyone has raved about their meal. It's become our go-to spot for hosting visitors reliable, generous portions, and always a wonderful experience. If you're in Granbury, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You won't regret it. Prost! We'll be back soon. Highly recommend, 5 stars all the way!

Pass on the hot potato salad, it was mealy, but the fried potatoes were perfect. The German beer selection was solid too so your taste buds are in for a good time. Expect to pay touristy area prices, but nothing too crazy. My only tiny gripe is that the musician didn't show up until about an hour and a half after her scheduled start. I was ready for a show but hey, I survived. Just a little bummer, not a deal breaker. Definitely a cool place to grab some tasty food and beers.

The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious they have an excellent variety of both creative rolls and high-quality sashimi. The staff is genuinely helpful, happy to make recommendations if you're unsure what to order, and they make you feel welcome whether you're stopping in solo, as a couple at the sushi bar, or with the whole family. The prices are a bit high compared to a big city with lots of competition but not having to drive 50 miles to a big city helps offset the cost. I was with 3 other people, 2 of the others were taking out the other one and said they would pay for their meal because it was their birthday but weren't going to pay for mine because they said I eat too much at sushi places :-) That's okay because I always feel like I should order the cheapest stuff if someone else is paying for it. I didn't have to worry about how much it cost and I wasn't looking at the prices. Everything all of us had was great. I only had sushi but others did have other things as well. My sushi was all fresh tasting. This was lunch time on a Wednesday. Turns out the tab for the other 3 people was 65.25 and mine was 65.26 so guess they were right!
