The food was great - my chili dog and my wife's breakfast sandwich and onion rings. Our server was prompt and helpful. The only downside of our visit came when we tried to pay. The kiosk next to our car had a slot for inserting a credit card but it didn't seem to be working. When our food was delivered I told the server and gave him my card to pay. I'm not sure what happened after that but when he finally returned with the card he didn't bring a receipt, so I guess we got a freebie. it doesn't even deserve 1 start. I took someone to Sonic for their very first visit, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish. Their order was incorrect, and I let the carhop know before they even went back inside. No one ever came back out to correct it. After waiting, I pushed the red button to speak with the person taking orders, who assured me the issue would be fixed, but again, nothing happened. I finally called the customer service hotline, and instead of resolving it properly, they offered a $5 gift card for a meal that cost much more. When I asked for a refund for the amount of the incorrect meal, I was met with the same dismissive attitude. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and clearly uninterested in making things right. It's especially disappointing because this was someone's first Sonic experience and as a longtime customer, I expected better. I placed an order on the app and then arrived and selected stall 9. Easy enough, right? Wrong. This was the most miserable experience I've ever had. Order placed at 12:20 and it is currently 1:23. I am one of 3 vehicles parked here and there isn't a line in the drive thru. The mobile ordering and stalls are made for a customers convenience but you choose to neglect those customers the most. Do yourself a favor and just as I'm going to stop this here and not waste anymore time on sonic, do not waste your time coming here. The Sonic in Hanover PA is by far the worst I have ever seen they either open late or they are habitually out of it seems whatever I want. I have asked for specific alterations either due to allergies or a distaste for things and have gotten it where they ignored those requests even after repeating it back to me. went on my birthday a couple days ago and was in the drive thru line for about 10 minutes, there were people in front of me also waiting and after probably another 10 minutes passed the line started moving. Got excited at first because we've been waiting for 20 minutes, but everyone was leaving. The website said it was open at the time, but saw no one inside while the line continued to add on. Never had a issue before this, all I and my friends wanted was a red bull slushee and some food. This Sonic location seems to be very hit-or-miss. At times we have gotten fantastic, attentive service, and completely correct orders. Other times we have gotten bad service, many screw-ups with our order, and stomach troubles to boot. We have always used carhop service, never the drive-thru or park and sit at the tables, so maybe there are some differences. Be advised (particularly if you're vegan/vegetarian) that you'll often find a wayward piece of fried chicken in your tater tots. It's a fast food place, so of course it's going to be greasy and bad for you. Normally I have an iron stomach, but more often than not, Sonic food does not agree with me (unless I stick to drinks and/or ice cream). My memory is apparently short, though, and I listen to my stupid brain saying "ooooh get the chili dog!" or "jalapeno burger!" read more

She had a smile and was cheery. I don't know if be that smiley. She also went back and got a new milkshake for my babe when a fly flew in it. We came here for a quick treat while on vacation. My children and I ordered a shake and two frozen, flavored drinks with ice cream (forgot what they were called). It is frustrating that their menu is confusing since there is no place that lists all the flavors and add ins-maybe the regulars find the menu easier, but I felt lost, and noticed that each menu was different at each parking stall.
