terrible today 11/20/18 (location-montana & airway). Ordered the super sonic (which seemed to be new) BUT got what looked like a burnt kids double cheeseburger. Looked NOTHING like the picture. i didnt even eat it. plus the lady at the drive through window had no clue what burger was on the dam menu and still said it only came with tater tots so i ordered an extra order of fries and i end up with double fries (not ganna bi** there) but seriously sonic?! employees need to get their sh*t together. read more

May 28th, upon going to cinnamonson sonic drive thru, for a second time in a few months I stayed away(PREVIOUS PROBLEMS). but given the place a second chance. It proved to be wrong again. the food I ordered was in fact just warm, tge cheese burgers had no cheese on them and the buns were saturated with grease the mozzarella sticks were only warm not hot biting into one of them. the carhop was friendly and offered to have my food re cooked, I said yes that was 11minutes from the first time I thought the order was taken care of. I checked the order this time to find out they reheated the bottom part of the bun and pit a piece of cheese missing the first time on it I told her to get a manager, the guy came out seeing him the first time going into a bathroom with toilet brush and chemical spray bottle was in fact the manager he told me he personally cooked my reorder which I knew wasn't, his attitude was defensive and after telling him what he had done said do you want a refund, I told him YES ASAP. never again at this unclean PLACE. I called the Corp office, I was told someone would get back to me like the first call a few months ago, that never happened. I felt compelled to write a review for this Sonic location, even though I wouldn't normally bother for a fast food restaurant, because I stopped here a couple days ago and the service was so poor that it put a damper on an otherwise wonderful afternoon. I was on the way back from the lake with friends and decided to stop for a milkshake, being that it was 90+ degrees outside and a perfect summer day for it. I've only been to Sonic maybe twice before, years ago, so I parked and took a few minutes to look over the menu rather than going through the extremely long drive-thru line and holding people up while I pondered. I ordered thru the intercom with a friendly, helpful woman who explained what a Slush was (basically an Icee with candy in it), and I decided to try one instead since they were on happy hour special, and I ordered a small chicken nugget with ranch sauce as well, for a snack. That was the easy part. A full 15 minutes later (I timed this on my phone based on the phone call that I hung up when I was ready to order) a kid in roller skates comes up, hands me 2 drinks and a bag. I said, this can't be right, so I checked my bag and told him I requested ranch dip (it's printed on the receipt so I know the lady entered it correctly) so could you bring me that instead, and you can take these 6 ketchups back. Then as he starts to skate off, I have to get out of the car and catch him to ask for a straw for my slush, which seems like something that would be standard since you can't really drink it from the cup. So he comes back and I just knew he'd forgotten what I said before, so I kindly reminded him that I'll just be here waiting for the ranch. Ok I'll be right back, he says. Yeah, right. Another 10-15 minutes pass, while my crappy chicken nuggets are getting cold, and I finally got so irritated I got out of my car - still in my bathing suit! - and went to the door of the kitchen to get my ranch dip. At which point the same kid comes up asking how he can help me, and has absolutely no look of recognition when I tell him I've been waiting for the ranch he said he was bringing 15 minutes ago. I finally got my sauce, and pulled out of the parking lot 30 minutes after ordering! And yes I was hung up on the ranch because we all know this isn't the kind of juicy, flavorful chicken you want to eat without having something to dip it in. Now folks, I realize this is fast food and I don't have high expectations for quality. I rarely eat fast food but when I do it's because I want something very quick & convenient, and hopefully yummy in a disgustingly bad for you way. :) This fit none of those requirements! After all that hassle, the slush wasn't even very good! I have a HUGE sweet tooth, and can count on one hand the number of times in my life I haven't finished a dessert, but I ended up throwing away half of the slush because it was sickeningly sweet and just tasted like fake-y syrup. The chicken was 90% breading and not that great but I expected that so I can't complain other than the fact that it was cold by the time I ate it. If this was any other fast food place, I would've just asked the manager, or whoever could do it, to refund my money and forget about my order after waiting that long, but at this place you don't really have easy access to the employees, and I knew if I had attempted to ask for a manager I probably would've had to sit there another 20 minutes. Okay well for starters the only reason why we went to sonexus because I heard they were having 99 cent mozzarella sticks which apparently they weren't so that's false advertising so we went there and I ordered a cheesesteak large combo with a Hi-C and fries and my girlfriend got popcorn chicken with one corn dog a medium Coke tater tots and a small order of mozzarella sticks let's start off by saying that I pulled in so we can eat our food in the car and when I click the service button I was told to go through the drive-thru but not before getting my heart attack for the day as she pretty much shouted over the intercom say hello can I take your order loud enough to where my eardrums woke up,a calm nice voice is always needed doesn't have to scream,, anywho so I went through the drive-thru and of course it was slow as hell and wondering why so we finally got up and actually ordered her food but yet again the lady has to go through the goddamn my to wear my eardrums have to bleed twice may I ad she asked me what can I get you and as I was telling her what I wanted she literally cut me off and said hold on,why bother asking me if you're going to do that......eventually we got out of there after waiting probably 15-20 minutes for our food only to find out the cheesesteak probably looks like a slightly less appetizing cheesesteak you probably would get out of county Fair not to mention it was soggy but I guess that's for keeping it in the bag the fries were good and the drink was good the cheesesteak taste well okay for what it isand I even tried a few popcorn chicken from my girlfriend's mail which they weren't that bad pretty good actually but on the receipt we were given it says oh you have ketchup and honey mustard and my girlfriend loves honey mustard so that was a plus however the minus is April fool's it wasent honey mustard it was regular yellow mustard boy have you ever gotten such a height that you've been let down so badI can't imagine that I'll be going back here anytime soon not unless I really want to get bad servicemay I suggest that you're probably better off going at least to a good location of food which will serve you properly read more

Ordered my food, waited 30 minutes, pushed the button to the greeting" welcome to sonic may I take your order" replied, "how much longer will it be." " oh sorry only a few more minutes" a few minutes later cold food arrived. While I waited I counted over 20 cars at the drive-thru order and receive food. I watched as three irate customers, waiting longer than myself curse and leave the parking lot. Lesson, this is NOT fast food. This service is massively terrible. We have been here over 40 minutes and they have messed up my orders twice. I asked if they had chicken sandwiches that were on the dollar menu and they said yes. I got 6 of them and she comes back with grilled cheese. I claimed that I asked for chicken sandwiches and she comes out again after 25 minutes with the grilled cheese with chicken stuffed with BBQ sauce. I asked for a refund. This is a terrible fast food place. McDonalds is the best recommendation for midnight stops. And if I could rate this I would rate it a 0 off the bat. read more

Now I understand why the place is empty every time I drive by on the busy highway it is located on. The place opened over 5 years ago to mobs. Now one is lucky if there is a car ahead of them in the drive thru!!! The service is TERRIBLE and the kids working there are too busy fooling around. I get emails for discounted food/drink specials all the time for sonic! Today August 31st is the last day for 1/2 price Milk Shakes. I ordered 2 large shakes, price was 10.87. When I drove up to pay I asked about the 1/2 price offer. I was told it was done today. I said it is still August 31st! I was asked if she should go get her manager! I was so frustrated I drove away. The person at the drive thru window is the dumbest person in existence. I ordered a cheese burger and asked for bacon and was asked "you want the bacon on the burger?" Then, when paying, I asked for ketchup and was given mustard. I told the girl at the window and she said "isnt that the same thing?" The fries are never super hot. read more

For the past 10 years I've had to be tortured by watching Sonic commercials on ESPN without a location remotely close to me. The torture stopped when they opened up two locations in northern jersey. The food: If I were 10 years younger or had some alcohol in me, I'd appreciate this food so much more, but at the age of "turning old" this stuff isn't going to sit well while sober. The drink: What I love most about the drinks is the ice, the small round soft iceballs that you used to get in vending machines. Ok the nostalgia's come and gone - the drinks themselves are pretty good too, the only problem? Too many to choose from. Sonic's is the type of food where the smell will linger for a while - think white castle. So it's best you eat on your hood or trunk, unless you don't mind the smell. They have outdoor seating too, but usually filled up by the local teenagers. read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. Sonic use to be my go to burger place over McDonald's. I now will choose Rally's or McDonald's before ever going to sonic for anything other than ice cream. Just had lunch from there and this is not the first time my burger was hard and crusty. I offered what I thought would be a peach slush, but I have no idea what I got. It sure didn't taste like peach and after a couple of sips, the cheese cruds and couple bites of burger I cooked down, all came back up. The slush was sour and burnt my mouth and did not taste like peach. My mouth is still not feeling right even after brushing and rinsing. I know it will do no good to call the company as they don't care about the customer as I've had issues with them before. If you want food that is good, drinks that aren't nasty and sickening, do not eat here. I know I won't be going back. They have changed the slush so much I can no longer drink them. I was in the mood for a sausage pepper hero but couldn't find a place nearby. Ended up having the ongest wait and worst service experience ever at a Sonic drive through. Waited 27 minutes total, car behind me got their order before the person at the drive up window in front of me got theirs. And I got my order in bits and pieces at the drive up, from three different servers. As I was checking my order the lady in the window asks me, Are you waiting for anything else? Omg, she walked out to the car behind me to collect their payment, then stops to ask me if I placed an order already. It was my fourth visit since the place opened up a few years ago, and the service was never really great just okay. I've had a chance to eat at sonic out west, so when I heard about this location opening up I was looking forward to sample the onion rings again. Unfortunately, the one thing that's missing from this sonic is any sense of service. After waiting some time for a spot to open I ordered my meal and realized I was shortchanged. Despite having a special on the menu, the location did not honor it and asked for extra $. The food itself was better than the run of the meal, but took a long time to order or get delivered. Really cheap food and specialty beverages. Now that the allure has died down, it was easy enough for us to get a car port spot to hang out. Really only drawback was the early closing time (11:30). I would expect a place like this to be open later, especially when this Sonic is competing with the likes of Wendy's, White Castle, and a plethora of other restaurants on RT 17. The gimmickry has worn off, but they do offer some interesting dessert beverages that will have me coming back in the near future. read more

The Sonic Drive-Thru in conifer exhibited the worst customer service I have ever witnessed on 5/20/2019 at about 9 pm. I'm a local. We asked 3 times for ranch for our family mozzarella sticks and each time we recieved open ranch containers. Finally we went through the drive thru and asked politely for some non open ranch and we got a bag full of open ranches. Jasmine... handed us our food, the ranch the second time, and the bag full when we went thru the drive thru. Unexceptable and unprofessional. Hi All! The management is at a five star level. Why? Because they know how to handle situations such as what happened to me. I drove off without waiting for my 1/2 of what I ordered. I got distracted due to my children. I called the store when I got home when I realized what I did and just got a recording. I left a message and no phone call back so I called the other number on the receipt which was headquarters. They took my information, but did not call back after a week. I then was in the area of Hasbrouck Heights again and stopped in to place an order and explained what had happened and the manager immediately replaced the food with a smile and everyone was happy. The food taste great, the people are nice and friendly, the property is well cared for and the manager Ricardo seals the experience with just what it takes to be a great manager. Probably going to have a heart attack after my meal but I got boneless buffalo Wings in an Asian sauce with fries and a strawberry slush with jolly rancher. Favorite slush! And also tried an Oreo chocolate shake with no whip. Both drinks were great. Boneless buffalo wings were the bomb and much better than expected. read more

This spot has been so clutch for a late night meal. Their food is always fresh, I'm a huge fan of the shakes and jalapeño poppers. One time I had an issue with my order and the matter was taken care of right away. Will always be coming back to this Sonic. I live in Hazel Green, Al. We usually get pretty good service at Sonic. We have had food items that were missing after we went thru the drive thru and they are a little pricey. The one thing that bothers me is that whenever I order a Turtle Pecan Master Blast only about 1 out of every 4 I order has the chocolate chips in it. Apparently the employees aren't trained about which ingredients go in the food or desserts. I do like their food tho and will continue to go back. I'm leery about sending my Master Blast back to have chocolate put in fearing what they might do to it. read more

Sonic has decided to push profitability over good value. I ordered a small onion rings for $2.29 and got 4 small onion rings. This is twice what other restaurants charge. Their single cheeseburger costs the same as other restaurants' double cheeseburger. If you have more money than sense, Sonic is the place to go. read more
