This is genuinely the worst Sonic i've ever been to. We ate inside ONCE & the employees were all sitting in the dining room vaping. So unprofessional. We've gone through the drive thru a handful of time & have not once gotten our food AT the window regardless of there being a line or not. Just today we waited over 15 for 2 chili dogs. We attempted to order at the stalls once & nobody responded for about 10mins so we just went through the drive thru. We waited 20 mins for our food. (We still waited after I took this picture) Two meals nothing outrageous. There were 7 cars waiting in the waiting area and a long line behind us. One person had to go back in 3 times because her order wasn't right. We were given the wrong order as well and had to return it. We had to go in to get our order. Once we got it our food was soggy. I didn't realize Sonics had dine-in areas. The dine in area was small, but clean. The staff was busy filling orders and not very personable when taking the order. The food was greasy and tasted okay. It might be my expectations were too high but I remembered sonic food being better. It was okay at best. HOWEVER. The sonic big scoop cookie blast was absurdly delicious. It was the perfect amount of smooth ice cream and chunks of cookie dough. There's a dump of cookie dough on top and bottom with some mixed in between. Yeah, don't get your blasts here. Should have gone with my gut instinct and gone to DQ for their Blizzard. At least at DQ they give you chunks in the blizzard. I called the store and told them I even YouTubed how to make a Blast and all I got was toppings on top with blended smooth ice cream in the middle. I ordered two shakes, one Oreo chocolate and one Oreo cheesecake via the drive through. As I was driving off, my bf and I realized that the shakes were not the flavors we ordered (ppl make mistakes) but we were running late to a movie so we decided if they were still open, we'd go back after the show. We did. Maurice helped me at the front counter inside the dining area. The wonderful hospitality, kindness and customer service he provided is why I am giving 5 stars (plus the ice cream is good when it's what you order). He made us brand new shakes and apologized for the inconvenience. The service industry is a tough place to work in, especially at the tail end of the pandemic, and with short staffed establishments, but Maurice showed no hesitation to fix the issue when I explained the situation.
