Terrible food . Terrible fry cook on a Thursday afternoon. That chicken sandwich and the fries were greasy and tasted bitter .

Who are the owners!?! On 8/17/2025 at 10:20pm This Lady needs a raise I stopped here to pick up some food for a friend there was one person working. That is ridiculous! She was very nice she let me know that she way by herself and it may take awhile. I felt really bad for her especially since other customers she was letting know the same thing was being very rude to her. You can tell she's just trying to work and make it. Waited at the drive through to order for 6 minutes. Pulled up to the window and the employees are sitting down having a party. The lady opened the window and said " what y'all trying to order" ? The worst place you can go to. Tried to order food 39 minutes before close, was told they are closed and I asked simply online out says midnight is closing. They are always either a hit or a miss. They need to do better especially if someone places a mobile order and the food is not even hot or fresh. Tator tots were horrible. I ordered a strawberry slush with raspberry. Tasted like they added grape instead. The last time I came the slush was a totally different color and was the same flavors. The employees take up a few on the drive up spots for customers to be able to pull up and order. This causes the drive thru line to be very packed in some instances. For this place being a drive thru and a drive in. They were only doing drive thru. We are currently waiting in line, and it's taking forever. There's literally a line of 5 cars behind us and we are next in line to place our order. It seems like every food establishment off Cullen plainly do not give a damn about customer service or their reviews. We are hoping that the don't eff up our order. Now, they claim to not have cookies and ice cream for the ice cream sandwiches. Like, what? The girl already sounds like she doesn't want to be there. It is very unorganized, there's other people cutting in the drive thru line. Then, they said they can't do split card payments. But can take two different tenders? The food is not bad at all except for any of the salted caramel shakes or blasts.....it's very heavy on the salt. My issue is with the hours of operation. The sign says they are open from 6am to 12am but the times I went in the morning....7:30am they were closed. Then I tried going at 11pm and they are closed. It seems to me they open late and close early...thays just my experience. It sucks when you have your mouth set on something and can't have it when you want it. Another irritating experience was when I waited at the drive through only to not have anyone take my order. I waited for a while...politely asked if anyone was there several times and finally honked the horn but i got no response. I went around to car port and they answered immediately. I asked if the drive thru was open and she happily said yes. I told her that i had been waiting a long time to have my order taken and that there was a line forming back there. Wow, this place is horrid! The food is sub-par, but it is difficult to write a review about the food when you never get what you ordered. We have been there 3 times, and our order was never correct. How is this possible? 1st Time: Boyfriend went, and when he came home (although they charged him for it), his hamburger was not there. 2nd Time: I went. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger- got a cheeseburger (no bacon). I also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich: got a fried chicken sandwich. I also went over our order with the cashier 5 times, and they still managed to screw it up! 3rd Time: Boyfriend went, and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. While we did get grilled chicken, we got a wrap. The flour tortillas served as an incubator for the mayo and veggies, and I don't like warm tomatoes (either have to be cold on a sandwich or hot in a sauce). Fool me once, shame on you. Service was extremely slow and by the time we received our food our food was cold. The carhop was also extremely rude. Our fry boxes weren't even filled up all the way either. Never again. Their drive through machine was down and they didn't put a sign out to let the customers know. There was a line waiting behind an suv for about 30 minutes with no notice from any workers. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would at the blink of an eye! First of all I go here to grab a quick bite to eat for my son. The little boy named Deon is the rudest Drive thru attendant that I've EVER come across. He has a smart ass mouth and if I could go inside I would've probably slap the ever loving shit outta him! I asked this punk for a cheeseburger with only meat, cheese and bread. He says "You mean plain" ok well yes that's what I mean. I then ask for fries and a cherry slush with nerds. I visit this Sonic often due to it being about 5 minutes from my house. I usually by ice by the bag at least 2 days a week. Well I guess I've become such a regular that me receiving good customer service has flown out the window. The order taker was nice (I was in the drive thru) but the young lady who bought out my order was rude! When I told her that the bag of ice was not full like usual and they didn't double my bag correctly she snapped and said "Well how do you double bag?" I also ordered my free Texans slush, she hands it to me and it's so liquidity that I took off the top and it was all juice! So for a last minute dinner me and my honey decided to stop here. I've been to this location several times before and has no issues, however last night started off as a nightmare... We placed our order and after we paid we realized they had half price burgers and we decided to switch out the mini burger for a regular sized one. The first girl that came out basically told us her manager said we couldn't do that and we had to just purchase the other burger separately. Ooookay that makes no sense so I told her if they can't do it just cancel the entire order. A different lady comes out and tells us something else that made no sense but stated our order was being cancelled. THEN the general manager Mark Miller comes out and explains every in a way that made total sense and apologized on behalf of his incompetent staff who gave us the wrong information, he then hands us the receipt showing the refund and offers us our entire order for free. Wow, talk about fantastic customer service. S/O to Mark for being great at his job and valuing his customers! He is the only reason I have 3 starts!!! read more

I went to sonic tonight and ordered my food. A number nine plain add bacon jalapeño and cheese. And my best friend ordered hers with just mayo and pickles. We both got sweet teas. When we received our Tea we immediately took a sip and it was disgusting. The man at the window was very polite and amazing but there were two girls who were car hopping and on their way back in were using foul language such as I just want to go the fuck home this is bullshit. And while I understand it was late, and you're upset (I'm a server so I do 100% get it) you should never ever let a customer hear you say this. And then the young man gave us new drinks and again was very polite. We took our food with us on the road. When we got home we opened our sandwiches and realized there was mayo on them both. I had to completely take the bottom half of my sandwich off and all of my jalapeños. I was mad but figured it happens no big deal my friend gave me her top bun instead. I bit into my sandwich and immediately spit it out because there was a tendon in the chicken but hey again no big deal, until I realized there was hair in my food. Now I frequent this sonic and haven't had any complaints about it until tonight. We tried to call and see if we could amend the situation by simply coming to pick up new food. But they didn't answer. worst experience ever. Waited 25 minutes for a large root beer no ice, medium mozzarella sticks and medium popcorn chicken. Got a coke with ice, a small mozzarella sticks, chicken was cold and not much in the container, looked more like a small. Didn't get my bbq sauce, car hop had to go back inside because she didnt have change, then when i asked for my receipt she said she would have to go BACK inside and find it cause she threw it out. read more
