2nd time here. The service was faster today. I did use the app so I think that helped. The food was pretty good. The Regional Manager just happened to be there helping the Manager put up signs for the mobile app spots. Spoke with him for a good 20 minutes. Told him that yes the service is a somewhat slow but the food was pretty good. The smash burgers here are tasty. My son got a cheese dog and some cheese sticks. Wow!! This place has gone down hill big time. I go to drive thru which is closed with a piece of paper saying use stall. Get to stall and order only onion rings and pretzel sticks. It takes 30 mins for me to get my order that isn't even right. I have to wait another 10 mins for a missing pretzel stick. My onion rings were disgusting- which was the whole reason of me coming here. The pretzel sticks with cheese wasn't bad. However after last night, I will not return. My experience at this Sonic has been very mixed; from absolutely wonderful to downright awful. There have been visits where the staff is on the ball; getting my order out and the food tasting great and fresh. Then there have been visits where the staff was friendly, but slow; and the food well was not the greatest. When Sonic does get it right it is worth it as their burgers are far superior to McDonald's or Burger King's. So I'll give them another chance to make it right. read more

The worst location ever! I'm pretty sure I say this every time I leave there, & for some reason, I give more chances. Not anymore. Tonight I ordered 4 lemonades, & tried all 4 & they were all lemon flavoring. I asked if they were out of lemonade & they said yes. We couldn't even drink the drinks so they exchanged them for cherry limeades. We got home & were missing half the kids meal (got an overcooked corn dog & 4 tater tots/no applesauce). The onion rings were overcooked bottom of the bag leftovers. One of the burgers had no bacon (paid extra) & pickles (asked for none). One of the meals was missing the tater tots. read more

I just experienced the worst customer service in my life at this location. When it to my turn at the order speaker I was told "I'll be with you in a moment". I had to wait 15 minutes before she would respond to my tapping on the speaker. I'm not exaggerating on the wait time. I was monitoring it with the clock on my car. Then she complained to me she was having to car hop and that she was really stressed. She still wouldn't take my order. At one point I swore at her, which I admit was uncalled for, but she swore back at me using the same language. She lost not just my business, but the business of the two cars waiting behind me as well. They drove away. Her name was Brie and she said she was the manager. We very rarely eat here, but everytime we have it's been good. We preordered and the order was wrong when we got there. We had to wait which of course made the food cold and soggy. Burgers had hardly ANY condiments on them. They also only had 2 cars there. People were having to get out of their cars to check on their orders because when you used the intercom they said that they would get back to you. No idea what the issue was today. read more

Every time I come here and get a sweet tea, it tastes terrible, sweet tea my favorite drink, but here the sweet tea taste like they haven't washed their machine in at least seven months. I took advantage of the app and ordered on my app and paid on my app but was informed when my order was delivered to my car that they were out of onion rings. I was told by the car hop to send a message to Customer Service to get a refund. I did as I was asked and received an email 2 weeks later, informing me that if I could get a comparable item at no charge if I bought something more. Why can't I get a refund for the onion rings I did not get? I don't want a refund for the ticket, I want a refund for what I paid for and did not get. Please advise. Check #242, purchased through app, Reference Id 256429901, 10/19 at 7:25 PM. According to my bank/Visa, I qualify for a refund. I contacted the Customer Service number that was on my email today and was told they don't give refunds for partial orders. I explained that I didn't get the item and that the location was out of the item and she said they don't give refunds on partial tickets and that was their new policy. I went to Sonic's website and no where on the website is there a refund policy stated or explained about their policies. This is not right. Is it legal to not provide a refund when an item is paid for and not received? So up and down.....some visits are 1 star, some 5...we like to sit at the tables outside and bring our pups, but it's usually filthy....Food's average sonic (not great) but the drinks are awesome....AND you can buy ice there by the bag - we always stop by here before parties....their ice makes the best adult kiddy cocktails and margaritas. read more

I'm pretty hard core addicted to their pretzel twists and hadn't had one since moving here from Oklahoma where we have a Sonic on every corner. This location is pretty far from my house, but I was relatively close by so I decided to check it out. I tried to go to the drive through which I assume wasn't working since i sat for a bit with no one offering to take my order. I drove back around to the stalls and the first THREE I tried to pull into where out of order. WTH?! I was just about ready to give up, but I hadn't come so far for the pretzel so I just kept trying and finally found a working stall. Once I ordered, my order was out fairly quickly and accurately and the pretzel was every bit as good as I remembered so there was the win! 5 stars for the pretzel but the frustration to get it lost them a couple of stars. I've given up on Sonic. At one time I was a frequent visitor but the restaurant service has slowly gotten worse. Recently I went through the drive through and ordered a single drink. Somehow, in sync with other mysteries like the Yeti and the Bermuda Triangle, they messed up my order. In was for ONE drink. How do you mess up an order for one drink??? To add insult to injury, the staff tends to give the dramatic pause, as if to imply "you can drive off now and I'll keep the change as a tip." I have no problem tipping, in fact my standard tip is 20% at restaurants with more for exceptional service. But you have to actually provide a valued personal service to qualify for a tip. Moving a drink 10 feet does not warrant what amounts to a 45% tip. Is it just the natural order of the world that a restaurant staffed by teenagers would provide subpar service? Am I expecting too much from the younger generation? I've thought that through often because I want to be fair to our youth. But on the other hand what good does it do to lower the bar just because someone is young? I know good service at a fast food restaurant is possible. Just look at Chick-fil-A. For the life of me I cannot understand why all fast food restaurant managers don't take their staff on a field trip to Chick-fil-A to observe great service at a fast food restaurant. It should be required training. It's unfortunate as well because Sonic does have some excellent drink combinations. I just can't take the bad service anymore. read more

Meh. I've experienced better - is exactly right, which is unfortunate. Was looking forward to trying some of the dessert options. Ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Master Blast©. It took so long for our items to be brought out. Even though my master blast had ice cream dripping down the sides, the server didn't bring or offer any napkins. The soft serve ice cream is actually very good, but totally skimped on the cookie dough pieces. Thought the first master blast might have been a fluke since they were very busy. Few days later ordered the same thing. I double checked with the server when it was brought out since there was syrup on top that wasn't there last time. She assured me it was cookie dough. This time they just completely messed up the order. It wasn't cookie dough. I don't know what the syrup was. There were a few bits of brownie. Threw out most of it. Maybe the service is better during the fall and winter when I first reviewed Sonic. As of my most recent experiences I would not recommend coming here. read more
