Terrible. I used their app this week to order a blast. When I went to pick it up I waited and waited and no one came. Finally someone came to the car saying, "Sorry, we're closed now. Half of the screens don't work, on 3 separate occasions I have sat at drive thru order board longer than 10 minutes and no one bothered to even say hello. Came through the drive thru. Service was very slow. Only ordered two things. One of them being a cheese tot. My order had about 20 tots in it and maybe 5 were covered with cheese. Doesn't seem like quite the right ratio. If you're going to up charge for cheese it should cover the entire order not just a few of them. Very disappointed. read more

Worst service I have ever had. We have cut bread out of our diet and for the past 2 months, the staff has been accommodating by putting our burgers in wraps. Tonight they told me no they dont do that. I responded that they have been helping us with this for months and the gentleman responded with no they havent been basically calling me a LIAR! Let me say that off the bat I like Sonic. This is the closest location to my home so I go here when I do. Since it's not necessarily close it's still kind of special when I do. Food overall is always what I expect here, it's hot and tasty. I love the grilled chicken sandwich on focaccia that I would eat way more often if I lived or worked in Julington Creek. My only complaint is that I'd like an option to tip the wait staff with my debit card since that's all I use. I feel like a jerk stiffing them when they work so hard and are so courteous. read more

This sonic is right at the entrance to my neighborhood so I stop here a lot because of the convenience. I never use the car stalls I always go through the drive-thru which most of the time is pretty slow. It takes quite a few minutes for a person to come over the speaker. Most of the time I find myself saying "hello" a few times although I don't think they can hear me. After ordering it usually takes a while for the food to come out. However, the car hops are always super nice. You also can't beat their drink specials and ice cream. read more

The past two times I've come, I've been told they've "run out of ice cream". Not sure how a place that is known for milkshakes runs out of ice cream. I have eaten at sonic a few times in my day. It is usually a breakfast stop for me. I'm not big on their other foods. I usually get a toaster of some sorts. Today I did get a sausage toaster and yesterday it was a burrito. The toaster was fair to partly but the burrito wasn't very good at all. Terrible service, slow, attitudes and non-responsive. We used to frequent this location monthly but have seen a decline in service over the last 4+years. One disturbing thing that was happening a few years ago were hidden charges in the final price that nobody could explain. We took the problem to the Corporate office and it was resolved at some point. We made another visit a week ago for breakfast and waited 15 minutes for 2 BEC toast sandwiches. There was only 1 other car there parked as the drive thru was broken. By the time we received our soggy sandwiches, the tator tots were ice cold. I took them back inside the very dirty cooking area and had to wait another 6-8 minutes for fresh ones to cook. None of the staff seemed to care about the sub-par service. There is a list of problems from that visit which prompted me to contact the Corporate office. I was told that someone would be contacting me shorty. It has now been over a week and not a word. My family eats out regularly and have yet to experience anywhere that even comes close to the poor service and dirty conditions that exist at this location. read more

I've been to many different Sonics before and never have had a bad experience until this one. I know it's fast food but I have had better service at McDonald's and Taco Bell. I met up with my girlfriend and her daughter to eat since they came from the park and we get there and only one screen over by the tables actually worked and looking around it looked like many of the stalls didn't work either. So we order her daughter food and she had to have her slushy. I go to try and pay but they wouldn't even allow me to pay with my card since the display jumped off the screen as soon as I went to pay. Since I was on the phone my girlfriend ended up paying. She hands him a 20 and he asks if she needs change on an order that was only 6 bucks, yeah she needs change you work at a fast food joint not an actual restaurant. 10 minutes or so go by and I get up to order her and I some food to eat. We also wanted to have a slushy and for some reason they don't have any now or the machine is not working. Even though as I was about to order I watched the kid who worked there hand the only car in drive through one and there wasn't another soul there but us. How does that happen?? I've worked in restaurants before and I'm co owner to one as well and never have I ever said we don't have or something isn't working and we don't have a good reason to why and what we are trying to do to fix the problem. This place either needs to get a new manager who actually cares or shut down and start new with an all new crew and make over.
