Using the app to order ahead should be a no brainer with designated parking spots which should correlate with the number keyed into the app upon arrival. We were brought an order shortly after parking but it wasn't our order. Told the gal it wasn't ours and she went back into the restaurant, never to return with our correct order. Being the overly polite folks we are, we waited then called 20 minutes later inquiring about our order. Apparently, our order had been given to the wrong car before we arrived. We were offered a free sundae for our wait. We asked for a refund which we finally got with our order. I know this is fast food, so my expectations weren't high, but this was ridiculous. I ordered the Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito specifically because I love jalapeños. Instead, it was mostly tortilla and only contained sausage, egg, and cheese. No jalapeños, no tater tots, nothing else. Went to this sonic today with my kids and ordered 2 kids meals and 1 adult meal with a few modifications, not complicated. When I got charged it was for 3 adult meals, which is over $10 more for what I should've paid. I rang the bell told Jasmine that my order wasn't right after I received it. She comes back out and then argues with me for 5-10 minutes about how I am wrong. I asked if she could take the food back because we hadn't touched anything, and I just wanted what I ordered and to get charged the right amount for it. But Jasmine continued to argue with me. I never received a refund for the wrong food, was overcharged, and left with cold and soggy food after all the back and forth that my kids didn't even want to eat. I hope this Sonic learns what customer service is, because that was not it today. I recommend saving yourself time, money, and a headache and go somewhere else!!! read more

Let's be realistic about the quality of food you're going to receive from any Sonic location. It's not really fresh and definitely not healthy. With that being said, I stopped by for a late night meal because it was convenient. They took my order quickly and brought the food out quickly. My order was correct and piping hot! Sonic will always have a special and large place in my heart most of the time my taste buds are throbbing and wet for sonic but as of late I haven't felt enticed to embrace my mouth with a double baconator. This is solely because of this kyle location sonic drive-in. The staff seems OK though when I paid with cash, they didn't seem like they wanted to count the change and shorted me a penny every penny counts. The service is absolutely awful. I could read the entire Bible front to back sitting in the drive-through line or at one of the drive up kiosks. Maybe even twice before I got my food. When the food comes out, it's cold. Cheese not melted but the ice cream is. Last time I went for a cookie dough, McFlurry and a cherry limeade it took them about 20 minutes to bring out my melted not mixed ice cream and flat cherry limeade. Overall, the experience is awful. The food is not delightful and I do not recommend this location. If you have the time go to the San Marcos location, the ambience is much nicer. We have ordered from this location through the app and it's always been spot on with the service! They bring out my order within a minute after I parked. This service is so much faster then ordering at the kiosk I've noticed. We have been loving the pretzels and corn dogs. Those are definitely favorite go to sonic snacks. We tried the burgers for the first time and it was okay. The strawberry slushes are the best and are half off all day through the app! Overall, we love ordering through the app and our food is always hot when it gets delivered to our car! read more

went to sonic after work today. I ordered a number 10 large meal and a soft pretzel with cheese. I was expecting to get a large drink but when I got to the window she handed me a small drink. I don't really like confrontation so I didn't say anything. she was very polite and said your good will be out in a second when I got my food it had been about 5 mins and so I didn't even check my bag to see if everything was in there. I didn't have my cheese sauce for my pretzel or ranch with my chicken. I was pretty disappointed. this isn't the first time this has happened I just don't understand whats so hard about putting saucr In the bag. Something always broke here. Just like McDonald's it's either ice cream machine or slush machine. Then there's teenagers that all seem like they smoked a big blunt for breakfast that work there. Really stinks that I now live so close to this sonic and they can never get my order right. The past 3x I've left with wrong orders. This last time I made sure it was correct and it wasn't. We asked for a lemon slush they still brought out a mango slush. Then they brought out a lemonade slush. Then they brought out nothing but slush with 1 lemon in it. This is my first time ordering from Sonic. Got a standard burger, onion rings, corn dog and shake. I took my first bite of burger and the meat was really tasty. Like good meat. Nice amount of toppings , not to much lettuce. I was very pleasantly surprised. Then the onion rings. Super crispy, just the way I like. Onion was cooked well easy to bite thru. Now onto the corn dog. Great tasting batter. The hot dog inside had very good taste. Sorry I suck at writing but I will definitely eat there again. Now I haven't had a milkshake in years but they are known for them so I figured what the heck. It was so good. Nice and thick. The only drawback was the straw. This sonic is an absolute joke. Everyone says they only go because it's the closest fast food place to our neighborhood otherwise no one would even bother. I've never once gone and gotten an order right. Today I waited at the window for 10 minutes to get 1 corn dog and one cookie ice cream sand which. The corn dog was flung at me in less than a second the window slammed and the girl was off chit chatting and laughing it up for 10 minutes while I just sat in my car. I was the only vehicle at all in the drive thru. I had to tell her twice no pickles, three time large onion rings instead of fries. When I got to the window she handed me a Coke. Ummmm, did you say Coke? Yes! Please, it was supposed to be a Coke Zero. She asked me if I wanted the change from my order. Excuse me, did she think she deserved a tip? SLOW! I would give a higher review if they weren't so consistently slow. It can take 5 minutes or more just to get to order. A simple drink order can take another 5-10 minutes to get (even with only a couple of cars there). The orders are usually pretty accurate, but you may have to repeat it five times until they actually repeat it back to you correctly. read more

I know they are fairly new but it's common sense to mark drinks when someone is ordering multiple ones. They have screwed up twice already with my drink orders. They don't mark the diet vs. regular. How hard is it? The lids have buttons you push down that take 1 second. The first order was a few weeks ago when I ordered 2 diet limeades and one regular. When I asked the car hop she had no idea what was what. Ok. I'll sip all 3 to figure it out. Last night I ordered 1 diet one regular. This has got to be the absolute worst sonic in all of Texas. Seriously every time I go it takes over ten minutes after I've pushed the red button for them to respond to me. Most times they never say anything at all. Every single order is wrong, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that. As I was writing this review I realized that they even got a simple large sprite order wrong that I just got. Smh I'm done with them. I wish someone would buy that location and revamp it altogether.
